  1. Well, if you go by history, crowns pass on instantly, even if the ceremony is later, so in this sense Spain are champions but they are only champions for a few more weeks. Not that it really matters, Spain can be champions of the universe for all I care, they still went out at the group stage and I couldn't be happier.

@OneTwoThree will be pleased that Australia have more goals from open play than Spain I assume.

It is really quite funny actually. Spain have yet to actually score a legit goal. They have one and it was a penalty that shouldn't have been. LOL.

  2. @alonsofan46 - Yeah forgot about them. I genuinely think if England get out of the group they'll get to the semi finals based on some performances so far.
Right now, if England and Brazil meet in the Quarter-Finals, based on their performances, is it really far fetched to say England could nick a win? Especially since Chile just beat Spain. I doubt it will happen, but it looks more likely than it has done previously.

  3. They weren't good in either game and to be honest they are lucky to have even scored a goal. Oscars was lucky in that the keeper should have saved it, Neymars goal was lucky and obviously the penalty which should not have been. Then again, they really shouldn't have conceded one either.

And Mexico should be top of group A with a 3 Goal difference as well. 2 "offside" goals. Brazil are very lucky to be first in group A.
