The only reason it worked is because of the insane straight line speed though. He did it well, right up until lap 69 but I am just saying, and we all saw that the straight line speed kept him in front. Ricciardo, Vettel and Massa were evidently faster. -
Not being funny @Skiddyboy13 but the only reason Perez was second was because he was impossible to catch in a straight line until that issue where Ricciardo got by initally and then Vettel a few laps later. -
Ted Kravitz said it. Perez had an issue so Ricciardo got past. Cannot wait to see the PF1 comments. -
I'm happy for Ricciardo, but the journalists will have a field day, that's what I don't like. -
Vettel couldn't get past Hulkenberg because of the BHP difference. Perez had an issue, Ricciardo got past. Good race. Red Bull really screwed up Vettels strategy. -
YES!!!!HAHA!!PRAISE THE LORD -
Wow.... -
Vettel will be passed now due to poor straight line speed -
2008 possibly. Anyway, wrong thread.yugin96 said:
I agree with the second part of your post, but not the first. When has his attitude cost him titles?AMS97KRR said:
Attitude has always been Kimi's downfall. I reckon he'd have won many more titles if he'd had a better attitude.KRTheIceman said:
Not the case at all.AMS97KRR said:So you are not supporting someone because they are having a tough year?I've supported Kimi through his worst times, but he's losing his spark, probably won't be in F1 much longer and the fanbase surrounding him sucks. Of course I still support him, but as I said, I am leaning more towards Bottas these days, much better attitude from him as well.A lot of the annoying fans are the "new" ones that came around in 2012. -

Interesting article:Are they going to cope with the pressure? Same can be said for Brazil though, they will expect to win, and I think they just might.EDIT: Russian captain Shirokov is out injured too.... -
Muller is one of the most underrated players around. Quality player.Ribery and Reus injured/ruled out in one day. Now, with any luck Cavani or Suarez is ruled out, along with Balotelli/Pirlo and Messi. -
Reus is injured.....If he misses the WC that's a huge blow for Germany in a team where they only have 1 top striker (who is like 34). Reus isn't a striker, but he scores a lot. -
I did mine a while back btw -
Probably true. Shame though, the Soviets were not too bad at football. -
Nice one :)Apparently, on the online one you get 30,000 coins for winning :o -
Sergio Ramos is good, but he doesn't deserve to be on that list. -
Good team, although for me Buffon isn't even second choice if I had to make a bench. Thinking about it, Yashin is probably better than Banks, so I might well be better off with him in goal. I think Yashin was the only keeper to win the Ballon'dor which is pretty interesting and surprising. It's funny how you hear of the greats like Pele, but many people don't know who Lev Yashin is, despite being perhaps the greatest keeper of all time. Any common football fan knows who Pele is, but if you asked them who Yashin is, I'd bet money on most of them not having a clue. -
BBC have made a "Pick your World Cup XI" (All time), this is mine:This is the link to the creator in case you want it (below). I made mine based on what they achieved in the world cup only. Maldini for example, never won a WC, same with CR7 and a few others, so they were not selected. Some of the so called "experts" included CR7 over some other legends. God knows why. There is no formation really, just 11 slots with a minimum of 3 defenders and 3 midfielders (max of 5 mids) and a minimum of 2 strikers with a max of 3. So basically, 4-4-2, 4-3-3 or 3-5-2 I think, although I am not entirely sure on the specific positions of them all, I think I got the back 4 right, midfield is all CM's and the attack is out of position a bit, but honestly it doesn't matter when those three are there. -
I have high hopes so long as Roy picks the right players. Drop Rooney and play Barkley. Scoring a tap in against Ecuador should not warrant a starting XI place.Against Italy he should play:______________Hart________________Johnson__Cahill__Jagielka__Baines________Gerrard______Henderson______Sterling_____Barkley_____Lallana______________Sturridge_____________Maybe swap Henderson for Wilshere, but I think that could be a decent team. If Oxlade-Chamberlain is fit, then play him over Sterling, but that line up has pace and looks decent.I also think that in our final game before Italy, Roy should try Jones in CDM. He performed well there for United when he played there. Wouldn't be ideal, but Wilshere and Henderson have hardly been outstanding so far.
Dat der wee race in Canadia.
