You guys have a chance of going through. Greece is a more proven team than Colombia and the Ivory Coast. -
http://worldsoccertalk.com/2014/05/31/world-cup-2014-simulation-our-calculations-of-who-will-advance-past-the-group-stage/Take this as you will, it is interesting but obviously, stats mean nothing.Another reason England will win the world cup: Roy Hodgson is 66 years old. As in 1966 in case you didn't get it ;) -
Yeah I think it was fixed too, but still, Turkey got to the Semi's too!SILVERARR0WS said:
There was some serious match fixing going on then though. You are right though. You can look at France in 2010 too. I think Columbia will spring a surprise this time. Quarter finals or possibly even semis.AMS97KRR said:@Tommig1995 how do I send my predictions? I can't see a way to do it?By the way, I like the format you are doing, but when you said that you'd be surprised if the top 8 fail to make it to knockouts, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if one did. How many times in football has something looked like a forgone conclusion, only to throw up a massive surprise. That's why I have predicted mine how I have. There is always one or two teams that surprise us, last time it was Ghana and Uruguay, in 2002 it was South Korea.I mean I doubt mine will happen, but looking at past tournaments, it is not impossible.France and Italy in 2010, that was crazy.Yeah, I actually put Columbia to spring a surprise,. They have some really decent players, Jackson Martinez and Falcao up front is insane. The Ivory Coast have a good team too, Bony, Toure brothers, Drogba (Is he going?) etc. -

What about the top 3 scorers and how many goals? How do I send my predictions? And when you see my predictions, please don't laugh TOO much ;) -
That sounds awesome, I'm up for that. -
@jordieDAFC I'm not sure what they could add to it. Some Red on it somewhere, maybe like this: http://img34.picoodle.com/img/img34/3/2/17/f_00ghpszrm_590d932.jpg (On an iPad, can insert pictures...) -
I really wish they added something a bit more interesting to the England white shirt. It's just a tad plain, could really use something else IMO. -
The Russian world cup shirt is awesome, maybe my favorite actually. Dutch one is cool, and I like the Columbia one as well. Red England one is nice too. -
I'll be mad if that happens. I'll probably get it for PC anyway, but games like Fallout shouldn't be exclusive. I hate Microsoft and I hate the fact that certain games are exclusive.SynGamer said:Hearing some disturbing rumors that Microsoft has paid a considerable amount of money to secure exclusive rights to Fallout 4 on consoles. REALLY hoping this is just a bad hoax. If true, I will be swearing off Bethesda products/games forever... -
I wouldn't class the streets of Liverpool as safe, it's a free-for-all.fIsince08 said:The world cup really should have been held over here. Certainly not in Brazil anyway - the accommodation is crap, the streets aren't safe and the stadiums aren't ready. Look at all the nice stadiums we have over here - Wembley, Olympic Stadium, Emirates, Etihad, St James', SOL, Old Trafford - even Craven Cottage and Anfield. Big mistake FIFA. -
@Herby007 Civilization V is awesome, you should try it! -
What did he say? -
I can't wait for this WC! :D :D :D -
It depends on the formation(s) you are using really. If I knew I was only ever going to play a 4-2-3-1 I'd go:(If you were sticking to 24 mine is. Ideally another Fullback, Centre back and striker would be nice, so 27 would be great)3 Keepers3 Fullbacks4 Centre backs4 Defensive Midfielders5 CAMs2 Wingers3 StrikersThe 4xCDM's could always change to 5 centre backs or 3 wingers, I would just want enough cover. A utility player in there is always nice, someone like Phil Jones who can play like 3 or 4 positions. Since I''d use a lone striker, I'd risk 3 so that I could have more creative midfielders (I'd need 1 or 3 depending on the 4-2-3-1 I'd play, Wider with wingers or tighter with CAMs), if worse comes to worse and all 3 get injured, shove a winger up front and see what they can do. -
Grosjean is a good driver, he has calmed down and is putting in the performances, I think he is quality. Not sure about Vettel to McLaren, but I'd love to see him win in a different team to silence the people who for some reason think you have to win a title in 2 teams. -
Except when Hitler died. That was a fantastic day. -
I'm not chucking toys out the pram at all, I just don't like them that much and I'd have chosen Mercedes back in 2010 if I'd had the choice.VetteIfan said:
You do realise only 1 retirement for Red Bull in 2010 was caused by the Renault engine being at direct fault? 2012 they had the alternator problem yes, but it would've been a lot easier to cure had RB started using the new spec alternator straight away after the first failure.AMS97KRR said:Well, I started disliking Renault in 2010, because of the reliability of the Red Bull, they've been on and off since, 2012 it cropped up again. They could do that, but it would take a couple of years for anyone other than Red Bull to use it. I reckon what RBR might do is give it to STR for the first year and then use it once the issues are sorted if they made their own engineI believe you're making mountains out of molehills when discussing your dislike for Renault. I'm just as big a fan as Red Bull as you are, but there's no point chucking toys out of the pram over tough times after all the great times they've had. They've been a loyal servant to Red Bull and I'd hope that at least buys them a bit of patience.I hope they sort it out too, but if they don't then RB seriously need to reconsider using their engines. -

Hadn't considered that, you're probably right.I'm just not liking Renault very much right now, can't say I ever have tbh...I have always thought RBR should get Mercedes power, but that is obviously not going to happen now, or is very unlikely. Mercedes would be shooting themselves in the foot if they did that. -
VW are less of a risk IMO. Plus, VW make very reliable cars, something Red Bull have lacked. I mean I know the stuff they do doesn't compare to F1, but still.RevolvingPrawn said:As would switching to a different engine supplier :p -
That'd be risky though -

Yeah. Although like last week for about 5 days it didn't even hit 15mb/s and on Steam it said 1mb/s or less and it took me about 20 hours to install Wolfenstein. So yeah, on and off, which should be expect in the countryside I guess.Herby007 said:You got Fibre Optic I take it then?
