  1. Wait he deleted it!? I hate SJWs, always happy to silence people they don't like. I don't even have Instagram but clearly a lot of people were happy to be able to follow him and now people have ruined it.  He's clearly just messing around with a family member, people need to get over themselves.
  2. I like that idea actually, they could do something good with that.
  3. Don't worry mate I wasn't aiming it at you at all, should have specified that :)
  4. Sure, nobody wants him dead but there's been some pretty harsh, rather unwarranted stuff thrown around about him. Like you said, simply put it's a boring choice, but that's no reason to be a d*** about it. I'd rather have had Gio this season to be honest, but equally I'd also  rather have had 10 teams than 9!  Every grid in history has had guys like Ericsson, just be thankful he isn't hitting people like Maldonado or that he is wasting a good car :) I doubt Marcus Ericsson will be in tears over it from his F1-seat. Like I don't know what comments you're alluding to when you sa

  6. Wow, I love all the hate for Ericsson from some people. Genuine hatred for someone who's cash has probably kept Sauber in the sport long enough for this to happen and give Leclerc his shot.  And he isn't even that terrible, he was only just beaten by Werhlein, and importantly, he wasn't crashing into anyone, just quietly going about his business. I'm actually interested to see how he might perform in a car that can actually do something, he's had awful back markers his entire career. I'm not expecting much of course, but after this display I really hope he surprises us, somehow. &nbs
  7. He's proud of that logo? Funniest thing I've read all day.
  8. I used to love Mario 64, but I don't think the Switch has enough 3rd party games (even then, would they have a big playerbase?) to justify the purchase. I'd play Mario Kart and probably pick up Mario Odyssey, but this is the issue I had with the Wii U, just not enough games or there is 3rd party games I own - I already own Skyrim (about 3 or 4 times over) and Rocket League for example. I'd love to actually know if a big game like CoD WW2 came out on Switch exactly what size the player base is.
  9. First of all: Show me one of the great drivers on the current grid who isn't acting arrogant every now and then, has never spoken in a rude way and isn't full of himself. Secondly, what's the problem with him partying and enjoying his life to the fullest? He's young, healthy, rich and besides, damn successful in his job. If he can manage to cope with all the parties while still being at the top level in his profession (and no one would deny that this is the case), then good for him. Criticizing him for that makes you look jealous in my eyes. I personally think that people not living their life
  10. To be fair in that scenario it's such a fast section of the track that it is hard for Stroll to move out of the way unless Williams come and tell him to do so. Maybe I'm the only one, but I don't hold that one against him.
  11. It's just the stealing points aspect more than the bad relationship of McLaren in 2007. Take this year, every race Ferrari can win, Vettel gets those points. Not so if his team mate is able to beat him on pace.
  12. As witnessed by Ferrari having won zero world titles since 2010... Also, imo it's much more likely that Daniel is going to join Mercedes alongside Lewis for 2019. They would form a competitive team, yet I doubt there would be any tensions given they get along so well and Daniel being an easy going character. That's nothing to do with the Clear 1 and 2 philosophy, it is all to do with the car. 2010-16 they've not once had the best car for any length of time and even this year it is probably second best once you factor in reliability.  McLaren in 2007 is a lesson in why you don't have 2
  13. Probably for the best you're not interested in it, can't see EA changing much between now and launch in terms of the multiplayer. Really disappointing what they've done with the multiplayer considering how much potential there is there :(  It's pretty much the reason I would have bought it...
  14. Bit of an odd signing I think by Ferrari if that is true. No.1 and No.2 works so well for winning drivers titles compared to two big names.
  15. Battlefront II looks so great visually, and the campaign stuff is no doubt going to be good but the whole loot box stuff in multiplayer is just awful, are you getting it on launch sj?
  16. He was still veering into the middle a little, it doesn't look as incriminating as the Grosjean footage though. He just doesn't seem to put the steering angle in it, Vettel would have had room if Stroll had put the angle in. One could argue Vettel should have left more room, but I don't think he expected stroll to be drifting out, unaware of his position.  Ah whatever, as long as it doesnt t impact the title battle, it is irrelevant.
  17. Great example of  why you shouldn't put too much weight on Junior formula, at least on paper, is Ricciardo. Go and compare his racing record before F1 to Hulkenberg. And yet Ricciardo is one of the top 5 drivers on the grid.
  18. Kubica doing 1.21.0 to 1.21.5's on his soft tyres this morning, get hyped. http://imgur.com/HPzhc2m Apparently the fastest times done all weekend by Renault were in that 1.21 range as well. *Fastest times in the race
  19. I've always been a Kimi fan, it is in my name on this forum and always has been. But if he doesn't win a couple of races this season and really turn up this second half of the season, he needs to retire - If  he can prove he still "has it", then I can accept another year provided he is going to turn up next season as well. I was gutted when he left in 2009 as I didn't feel we had truly seen everything he could do, but now I think it might be time. Having an old guy trundling around is a waste of a good seat that someone younger and more talented could use. Leclerc for example.
  20. I wasn't talking about Vettel or Hamilton winning years at all though. I was just comparing two "classic races" shown by Sky on Friday and Thursday. And whether you believe it or not, I was talking purely about the racing on track, not the points table. I didn't mean it to come across as a stab at Hamilton or anyone at all. I don't need anyone to agree with me or disagree about whether the 2012 title finale was more dramatic than 2008, it's a silly argument. 2012 is more important to me and 2008 is more important to Hamilton fans. But i'm perfectly willing to admit that 2008 was more dramati
  21. It was a brilliant race, a perfect advertisement for F1 really. 6 years of racing later, and people still say how great it was, that is how you know it was special. Edit: on the meme thing "I'm done" means "I'm out of here" or "I've had enough of this" type thing. But generally it gets said after someone says something stupid and you're frustrated. I don't think anything I said was stupid really.
  22. I don't think anything I said warranted a low effort, meme response to be honest Prawn. From my initial comment to now I've spoken purely about the racing that doesn't include the title battlers. And for your information, I do believe that the last few laps of 2008 is the most dramatic way a title has been won and that Canada 2011 was, driver loyalty aside, the best race I've watched, so how can you just post that meme as a response?
  23. Here's the catch, you can't speak as a neutral no matter how hard you try, cos you support the driver who won in 2012! I can't either, cos I support the driver who won in 2008. You'll always favour the races your favourite driver won, whether or not you say you're being neutral. Like I'm guessing you don't consider Canada 2011 to be probably the best race of the last 20-30 years, mainly because Vettel stuffed it and didn't win. That's not really true. I think most people would agree that if you removed the title battles from both races and pretended they were the second race of the year,
  24. I'm talking purely as a neutral on this one. Take out the Vettel-Alonso battle and it is still a great race. I forgot just how long Hulkenberg led the race for, such a shame he made a stupid decision to overtake Lewis when he did. Edit: Hamilton didn't have much competition all race from what I remember, he was mostly just going around in 4th. I was mostly waiting for the last few laps.
