  1. I think that is most likely Platy, but never say never. Relegation threatened teams are dangerous at the end of the season, as Chelsea found out yesterday and as Liverpool are finding out (Norwich only losing 3-2). Of course, United cannot lose another game or drop a single point to get there, which is unlikely so I reckon United will be 6th/5th.
  2. It will be an interesting game, Everton come off of the back of a defeat which might affect their morale. I think United might just edge it. I think Arsenal will finish 4th, but if they don't and really mess it up, it all hinges on City Vs Everton IMO.
  3. Why is every discussion classed as an arguement? I'm not angry or anything, it is a deabte, that is all.
  4. The one difference between what you're trying to say and Hamilton 2011 is that, Lewis didn't actually loose any speed, he just developed a problem for crashing. I seriously doubt Vettel has lost any of his speed, which is basically the only other way he can have an "off season". The problem here is that Vettel is too used to driving with massive down force levels and can't adapt quickly to the new regs. It's either this or I don't know what else. He did at certain points, he looked off the pace in certain race compared with Button. I think Vettel is just adapting to the new cars, if you d
  5. Funny how you bring those exact two races up. I seem to remember Vettel botching the start and then turning into Senna in Brazil (and got remarkably lucky that his car wasn't terminally damaged), and hitting a DRS board under the safety car and overtaking Grosjean while exceeding track limits in Abu Dhabi. He didn't botch the start, he wasn't given much room and lost out. Mistakes happen, but that was my point, how many drivers would still think it was possible to win after that kind of set back? He didn't dwell on it, he got back to a position he needed. My entire point was that he didn'
  6. 2010 was a good season and so was 2012, but a bit painful as a Hamilton fan. The whole of 2011, and most of 2013 was extremely dull. You can't throw 2014 into the same category as 2011 after just 4 races, it doesn't make any sense. 2 rounds so far this season have been okay, with one of them being the best for about 3 years in terms of action. How you can say Bahrain is dull is beyond me. Funny how there is more comments about dull races from Vettel fans now after one corner has been completed. Can't think why.  Bahrain wasn't dull it was just REALLY predictable and in my opinion tha
  7. That is all SPECULATION. I agree completely, Ricciardo would have beaten him in Aus and would have finished Malaysia in my opinion. But you don't know that for sure. Do the results say that though? I thought a DSQ was always lower than a DNF? According to the BBC results page he is dead last with Vettel in 18th (although not classified).  Yes we have all heard this one before. And average driver wont win a title, let alone 4 in a row. They will have the wrong mindset, a lack of skill when it really matters (such as Brazil 2012, Abu Dhabi 2012 where Vettel had to rescue his title fight des
  8. I said I was bored 2nd half of 2013. It was predictable, and I don't like that.
  9. You see that is the issue. We had some good racing in 2013 and 2011 but because you dislike Vettel, you only remember the bit where Vettel won by 20 seconds. Vettel won in Germany in 2013 and that was one of the best races of the year. One good race which I happened to miss lol. Generally, 2013 was a crap year, even worse then 2011. 2011 and 2013 had good moments but yeah I'd agree with that. I'm just sick of anyone one driver dominating, I really, really hope this season improves but it already looks like the titles are decided.
  10. All speculation, you don't know what would have happened. In Australia Vettel may have made an amazing recovery drive to finish 2nd, in Malaysia Ricciardo may have just crashed or spun. We don't know what could have happened, so why bother bringing it up? As far as the FIA are concerned in Aus Ricciardo was racing an illegal car, so in Aus for me it was 0-0 and in Malaysia it was 1-0 Vettel, in Bahrain it was 1-1 and now it is 2-1 Ricciardo. I think 2-1 is a fair reflection and in fact, the FIA would probably say 2-2 because a DSQ is lower than a DNF. Going on final race results, 2-2 woul

  13. The Caterham had brand new tyres and Vettel was on really done in old ones. I just love how deluded some Vettel haters are (I hate using the word haters). They think that because Ricciardo has outperformed Vettel twice that he is better or that Vettel is average, despite losing out to him in the Championship right now. If anyone actually believes that I don't know what to say to them as they clearly haven't watched F1 much. If Ricciardo beats Vettel for two years running convincingly I'd hold my hands up and say "Yes he is better" but as of now, we are 4 races into a new era of F1, not 4 years
  14. This battle for 4th is going to be good. Arsenal are focusing on the FA cup I'm sure, they could easily slip up against a relegation candidate who is fully focused. United have what you'd think would be an easy run in and will be desperate to prove themselves as individuals in order to keep their places, so I am expecting some big performances from some players. If they beat Everton, they will be right in there with a chance. Everton have a more tricky run in, playing both Manchester teams. Should be an interesting few games. Thinking it will be:4. Arsenal5. United6. Everton7.Spurs
  15. None of the seasons (other than 2011) Vettel has won has been this bad after 4 races. 2010 was great, 2012 was really good and 2013 was interesting as well. 2011 and 2014 are just dull and I'd rather not have years like that at all.  I know how you felt when Vettel won like this, everyone made a massive effort to say how they felt on the old forums every time he had the lead. Funny how there is less comments about dull races now after one corner has been completed. Can't think why.
  16. So like Vettel last year? Well, the end of last year yes. It wasn't an exciting season pretty much from Hungary onwards. I just didn't complain much because it was coming to the end of an era in F1 and I thought we'd have a good season this year.
  17. The gap between 1st and 2nd was 1 second at Bahrain????  I meant mulitple teams, like Britpoint says
  18. I can't remember the last time a race was actually really close. Must have been June or July last year. How fun.  Can't complain about Lewis though, he is doing his job well. Just a shame what looked like a promising season in terms of excitement has turned into a bore-fest after 4 races.  And I can't be the only person confused about Red Bulls team orders. Fair enough, they were on different strategies at the time, but they then changed Vettels to a 2-stop as well. And I'm not saying anything is going on, but Vettel finishing a pit-stop behind Ricciardo? Either Vettel gave up after
  19. I seriously seriously seriously hope not. I think I'm not the only one who's had enough of the Red Bull domination. I don't care if Merc end up winning every race this season, all I can think is that at least it isn't Red Dull. I'd rather nobody dominated, so if it could create a level playing field, I'm all for it. I don't like domination, I just haven't complained for obvious reasons
  20. Mercedes will surely win.  I think Mercedes - Mercedes - Red Bull will be a familiar podium this year. Expecting Hulk, Kimi and Alonso to all be behind the Red Bulls along with the McLarens.  I was hoping for a closer championship, something like 2010 or 2007 but it's only been two races, so hopefully Red Bull can catch up and then maybe a 4-way title fight - Hamilton Vs Vettel mainly with Rosberg and Ricciardo somewhere close behind? Ricciardo is looking pretty quick after the first two races.I just hope the Engines aren't the deciding factor of who finishes where all the time, beca
