As much as its fun to watch those guys, they were the Red Bull/Merecedes AMG F1 of WRX so if we get a load of privateers then it could be nice and varied. Not just "Oh Johan has won again" lol

Ireland and Monte would be great, I admit I wasn't a massive fan of Germany in DR. The stages were ok but I preferred the flowing dangerous roads of Monte and then having narrow twisty roads of Ireland would be awesome.

I was completely out of the loop for the 2018 season, only picking up on the odd event. Will definitely make more of an effort this year!!

I paid like £22 for Dirt Rally 1 when it came out in early access and got 200+ hours out of it. I'm happy to pay some more now to get revised and updated stages to suit DR2.0 on top of the final game. It won't be just a case of porting the assets over. I feel like this is going to be the fullest, most content rich rally game over time, it's already got some great stuff in it with much improved physics (can confirm, am a tester)

It wasn't in a seperate game for DR1, it was an update and detected that I had a Rift plugged in so its probably the same for this. They also released it on the Oculus store so that might be where you're getting confused,

Unfortunately there will always be those people in any community. It just got exacerbated by non-VR users wading into the thread topic about this particular subject and deliberately making trouble. That is your opinion and it needs to be respected. I am one of the people that finds it very hard to go back to monitor use after VR but that is my opinion and should also be respected. I wouldn't call it an attitude, more like people who are passionate about this new technology and want to get the best out of it. Not speaking for all of them, some of them were tools.

I'd just like to say I hate the way the vocal minority of VR users have behaved and this #novrnobuy BS and it's quite sad the rest of us are getting lumped in with that lot and VR as a whole is getting ridiculed. I've expressed my want for it and left it at that. It didn't help that some forum users poked the bear at times. It's been announced and we're happy! Still gonna give my life away to DR2.0 on my monitor until its released. My 2 cents.

Mobile is definitely better, not sure of the red border of the desktop version but that actual functionality itself is a lot smoother! Shame my profile picture and rep hasn't carried over unless it will soon and this is just temporary?

Those Argentina stages look TOIGHT, that will be quite a difficult one to go damage free unless you drive like James May.
