So much this! This idea has been around my head for quite a long time, like the whole idea. Even having to take into account the hours of the time controls. Yeah, I know, too much asking probably but still... (well, we have online rallys on that other sim, and we can have things like these, so it is a fix).

Don't think so. It's an ARA event so I don't think that rule applies here (in fact, ARA has a partnership with Cooper and Hoosier tires, so I don't think they are enforcing competitors to use Pirelli) My best bet is that since it is a McKenna car, and Barry has been running the Fabia on Pirellis, Block just sticked to them (or maybe Toyo doesn't have a tire fit for the Fabia, something I doubt)

Maybe CM.. Or maybe BigMoon or whatever they are called now, since they are releasing a new Dakar game later this year (no, honestly, I can't remember the name of the company now)

Hi guys! I'm in need of some help. I'm trying to make a livery for the Golf Kit Car, so I'm using the Peugeot 208 R2 as the "donor" car to show the livery. But it id giving me a headache. After replacing everything in nef file, I go to choose the car and a stage, and it goes into infinite loading the stage. I realized I had to put also a 202 folder with the livery, as if I was putting a moded livery on a car from the base game, but now the game crashes as it starts to load the stage... Any advice you could give? May it be because I'm putting the moded livery both in the nef file and the separate folder?

Great work as always @SRD_SimVansevenant, any plans on doing Richard Burn's Elonex Legacy? I'm starting work on it, but if you are going to, I would stop it.

Yeah, I understand it like you do, and I think that they should have let the livery texture files unnecrypted. The sad trUe is the encryption didn't accomplish its goal, because the DLC cars have already been ported to other games (like Assetto), yet we still can't do livery mods on DLC cars "easily" (this is, without the need to change the .nefs files)

Here you go @Keko55, just unzip the file on the main DiRT Rally 2.0 folder. Maybe I'll need to make the logo smaller, but I prefer that you try it first, and then tell me wheter you like it or not cars.rar

Thank you! I had the Marlboro red, but I couldn't find which color to use for the main_s

Guys, anyone knows how to make the colours look fluorescent-like, like this Marlboro red? I've tried using the same colour, trying different things on the main_s file, but with no luck. Any help would be greately appreciated.

No since liveries for DLC cars can't be used, and it clearly looks like it won't change, sadly

've been thinking recently. What if Shell and Ford had sticked toghether on the British Rally Championship, with a fully sponsored car, like the Black Beauty Mk2 Escort? So I created it. This Escort Cosworth would be based on the 1994 edition of the British Rally Championship, driven by Gwyndaf Evans and Howard Davies, to be more precise, on the Stena Sealink Ulster Rally from that year. And then, I decided to make a version based on the Rally El Corte Ingles, for a possible European Rally Championship participation from the Shell team. If you would like to download it, you can do it through here: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/ford-escort-cosworth-black-beauty-1994.34445/ Oh! And there is also a Ford Sierra version of this: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/ford-sierra-cosworth-ari-vatanen-black-beauty-1989.34058/

  18. It is the same. In the vehicles' box (bottom left of the screen) of the daily and weekly events, it just appears the Impreza S4, so you can only use that car.
  19. Guys, it is because the Daily Community event of Australia is just for the Impreza S4 WRC, not the whole 2000cc class. It is not a bug

    Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack

I've been thinking for some time now about making some of the Subaru Rally Team USA skins for that boat... I mean... R4 Impreza, so, it would be possible

    Something is coming closer...

I mean, I would love little road sections in which you have to manage the time left to get to the SS and don't get catch by the cops doing so 😂
  22. But what about the F3 category them? 😅
  23. Completely forgot they called it Formula 2!! You are completely right. In my opinion, FIA 2-Litre World Rally Cup just refers to the championship's name, like World Rally Championship, whilst F2 is the name of the category, like World Rally Car. I mean, F2 category is based upon the A7 category, 2.0L engines and FWD, then, there is F3, based on the A6 category, which fits for 1.6L FWD cars like the Saxo Kit Car, 106 Maxi, but I think also the Micra (which is, if memory doesn't fail, an A5 category car). Sorry for multiquoting, it's just that I like this kind of talks, like a lot.
  24. The only thing in which a rally Kit Car and a normal kit cars are the same is that both use a body kit (even thought, 1996 Kit Cars apart from the Clio, Megane and some few exception just added spoilers), but a rally Kit Car is much more, as those body kits are installed and mounted from the factory (unlike a normal kit car, in which you have to build it yourself). They use lightweight parts, meaning these cars could weight as less as 900-910 kg before the FIA impossed a weight ballast to make them slower than WRC cars in asphalt. And finally but not less important, they sported highly tuned mechanics, so as the cars they were based in where around 150-180 hp in their 16 valves-2.0L engine configurations, this cars where between 265-300 hp in rallying configuration, using "the same" engine. Don't think so. I've never been sure what F2 exactly means, but I think it is something like WRC being F1 (never called like that) as they use the top "formula" (this is, 2.0L engines and AWD), 2.0L Kit Cars and '93 to '96 2.0L FWD rally cars being F2 and 1.6L and '93 to '96 1.6L rally cars being F3 as they used sameller-slowest formulas, thus comparing rallying to open-wheelers in the use of "formulas".
