I was never a fan of JB but seeing as this is his last race in F1 for 99%, I think I'll miss him. He was a true character and a brilliant racing driver.

I just hope his fans (Tom, Mike, etc.) will still be around for the new season, would be a shame to miss you guys.

I'm a JB fan as well. Fun fact, my mum lived down the road from him when he was young :)
That's cool! Did she know him personally back then?

  2. You can still predict until FP3 mate.

Honorary mentions go to Twobens Barrichello, for trying to get a seat at Caterham instead of spending time with his familiy.

    The UKIP rise continues :(
Humans never learn. Whenever there's a crisis out there, people tend to vote for extreme right of left wing-parties, as if they had a recipe. The easy solutions suggested by the UKIP are never going to solve the economical problems which the UK is currently facing.

  4. They aren't suggesting those kind of things for the fans though. He (or was it Marko) also said that the aero-rules should be cut down to enable a "drivers championship rather than a engineers championship" which is utter BS.

Everything they say, is because of their own interest. As is with every team on the grid of course.

  5. Anyone on here happen to buy one of the Hamilton limited edition caps ? I loved the Malaysia one but they're going for crazy prices. No way am I paying over £100 for a cap. Really wish I had known they were on sale at the time.
I've  heard they are handing out Rosberg-caps for free, because of the overwhelming request. ;)

  6. It could be argued that Rosberg's "strong" phase in the middle part of the season was down to Hamilton's bad luck (Canada, Germany Quali, Hungary Quali). Then there's the "mistake" at Monaco and the "I wanna prove a point" in Spa.

To me it seems like nearly every time Nico finished ahead in the race he needed something to go wrong for Hamilton because he couldn't beat him in a straight fight. The fact that Nico is still with a chance to win the WDC is down to Lewis' bad luck in the early part of the season (and a few mistakes along the way, although they've been a lot less costly than the unforced DNF's).

Therefore, Lewis would be the only deserving WDC 2014 - but that doesn't count for nothing once the flag drops in Abu Dhabi.

I don't care about previous records, attempts, stats, rates whatever; I just know Hammy will win it.
Rosberg ay got a chance in hell, and don't even mention some kind of failure cause it won't happen. This is Lewis' to win and win, and he will win.
If only I could share your optimism.

But experience tells me it'll be a difficult task to win this WDC. It's never easy with Lewis. That's probably why I love and hate supporting him at the same time. I just know it won't be a straightforward race for him in terms of the WDC.
