  1. 1.       A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here.

Running under Safety Car in Hanoi, it began to rain. I switched to Inters on lap early to get the benefit of the AI pitting a lap later. When the AI drive into the pits, multiple cars get disqualified.

    5.       What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too.

Did a flashback 5 times and everytime this happened. Number of cars varies to 2 or 3 getting disqualified to 14-15 cars getting disqualified

    none

Excuse the laggy video, my recording program isn't setup correctly. You can see the disqualifications anyway.

@Riku34 does this still happen in 1.06.

What are your settings. Can you provide a step-by-step guide on how this happens to you, so I can attempt to replicate. You have missed number 4 out.

Same issue here, and it still happens in 1.06.

To replicate it basically just simulate a race in career mode. Screen turns black, and after closing the game via Task Manager as nothing else is possible, the points aren't awarded.

At the end of the season, I got rule changes. 9 Aero changes, 8 Durability changes. While I was able to adapt all Aero upgrades, I only could adapt 3/8 Durability upgrades, as I simply didn't have anymore.

Well it's just there, it's not really something to do with "replicating". Restarting the game doesn't help.

    Restarted the game.

  4. According to this article on Racedpeartment, Codemasters won't include any possible replacement tracks in the 2020 game.

    https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/f1-2020-any-additional-replacement-tracks-wont-be-included-in-new-game.186305/

So I was really wondering why that is the case? If we just forget possible licensing issues for a moment, technically that should be more than doable?

The tracks that is currently talked the most about are Mugello, Hockenheim, Algarve and Imola.

Hockenheim should be quite easy to take from F1 2019. Algarve and Imola are both included in PCars2, should also be not a real issue to convert them after the cooperation with SMS. Mugello would need to be redone, but tbh thats something you can expect from a full price and official title like F1 2020 is. You can't really tell me, that a whole studio like Codemasters is not able to come up with 2 or 3 tracks, while the modding community of other games is able to recreate tracks in shorter time and rarely worse quality than "official" tracks.

  5. Not criticizing Codies for that, but tbh I don't really like the new Zandvoort. It basically lost all of it's charme. All the little bumps which got straightend for F1, those lovely oldschool sand traps... While the old track was recognizable as an cool oldschool track on the North Sea, now it just looks like a generic new built track...

They will add an option, so you can do 22, 16 or 10/12 race, but im not sure you will have the opportunity to change the order of the races.

You will. As Lee said in the Interview with Red Bull:

    Quote

The player will have the option to pick which tracks they want to race in each season and can edit that list in each subsequent season. It will also help new players who might struggle on circuits such as Baku and Monaco. Players can now pick a season based on their skill level and add tougher circuits as they improve.

  7. Something I was wondering about for years now, why can't we use our personal driver in quick races? In the MotoGP games thats possible for many years already, so why not in the F1 game? Just choose a team and have a quick race as your own driver with your number. That shouldn't be that difficult to do and also licensewise I don't see an issue there, so why is it not included in the game?

I have dirt rally 2 sitting unplayed on the PS4 thanks to PS plus. This situation must change today! Thanks for the recommendation!

    @LSKone

I have the truck game /sim too, just have not played recently. I would count it as kinda racing as the faster you do your jobs the more profitable it is? Kind of like rally stages almost! Gonna have to take a look at this new TT game too being a motorcyclist AND a fan of the TT races themselves for ahem 30 years!

Seen a lot of people complaining about Dirt Rally 2.0 as it seems to be "unplayable" on a controller, but tbh that's not really the way it's meant to be played, hope you enjoy it!

  9. 1. Assetto Corsa - PC - 746hrs

Definetly the game I spent most hours driving in, the endless possibilties in terms of modding definetly make sure that it never gets old or boring. Definetly aiming for the 1000hr mark here 😉

    2. Dirt Rally 2.0 - PC - 124hrs

Just love rallying at all, and the challenge and the absolute satisfaction when it comes to nailing a stage is just awesome!

    3. F1 2018 - PC - 148hrs

Definetly the game I enjoy the most of the F1 games, as it's the last game that offers access to the localisation files and therefore modding, which makes sure that it never gets boring!

    4. MotoGP 16 (Valentino Rossi the Game) - PC - 78hrs

Just love it due to the story behind and the way you're working your way up through Vales academy, with the other modes it's just a pretty nice package!

    5. F1 2011 - PS3 - 87hrs

The first game I really played when it came to Codies F1 games - maybe not the very best, but will always have a soft spot in my heart as it pretty much defined my childhood!

    Honorable mentions:

    Assetto Corsa Competizione - PC - 25hrs

    Euro Truck Simulator 2 - PC - 36 hrs

other MotoGP and F1 games (put together 1376hrs only with the F1 games since I started on Steam with F1 2014)

    Motorsport Manager - PC - 15hrs

    Dirt Rally - PC - 45hrs

  10. Pretty sure F1 2020 will come out for PS4 only and PS5 support will be considered for F1 2021, probably with a new engine. Remember that the PS4 got released at the end of 2013 and the first game for the PS4 was F1 2015, also with the new engine.

  11. Surely there are currently more problems than this, but how high are the chances, that F3 will be included in F1 2020 already?

To me it seems just like a matter of time until we get F3 in the game. With F2 being included since last year, the FIA F3 being now an official FIA licensed championship on the "ladder to F1" and Moto3 being in the MotoGP games since the very beginning, it would just make sense to include F3 in the F1 game.

At this point there are no information about this as F2 was leaked last year just by Codies "forgetting" to remove some code from the F1 2018 game. As the game is already planned and work on it started, the decision to put F3 in this years game or not was surely not influenced by the Corona topic, as most of the work should've been done before.

So what do you think, would you like to see F3 in the game series and when would you expect it to happen?

They said that the planning for the game is concluded.

That means that it's finally decided which feautures will be in the game and how the game will come out, but not that the game itself is ready.

Imagine you want to build a Lego model. Codies already have the instructions and the parts, but that doesn't mean they have a finished model.
