  1. Not too shabby! I guess we'll get some more info from the folks at the press event soon.
  2. It's Showdown 2.0 EAP for Mac isn't it? :)
  3. Damn.. I'm not on instagram, what is happening in there?
  4. Oh, the anticipation!! Let's hope it's not the wrong kind of 2.0.
  5. I seem to remember us being Rick Rolled just now.. That to me is one step in a direction. :)
  6. Joke is lost, cannot paste image.. :( https://media1.giphy.com/media/11oppolhqgE8M0/giphy.gif
  7. Oh the excitement! We should really rename the thread to something like A Scandal in Bohemia. :o :o :o Maybe that means the Barum Czech Rally Zlin will be represented in DiRT Rally 2.0. Bit of a longshot but I'd just thought I could throw it in here. :)  Seriously guys, it feels great to be back in the Gossip Thread.
  8. Codies just updated their cover photo on faceballs. Might be wrong but I cannot say I recognise this as a screenshot from any recent DiRT game. Is there something brewing?
  9. Great stuff! It worked with yours. Nicely curated stages too. Well, my i20 did make friends with a few trees along the foggy stage. But so far, great good fun. Thanks!
  10. Nice to see that stuff is happening again. However, I cannot see any clubs with any active championships in them. I have joined one or two but they do not appear in-game. Anybody with a similar problem?
  11. Can't wait for rally sweden!  The new WRC cars will be rippin. yep, and those snow banks will be rippin too. The woods in Värmland is going to be the second most carbon fibre rich area in Sweden.
  12. Is it finally time for the previously rumored GRiT?
  13. It sounds so weirdly familiar. Hoping for the "Be brave"-call. But instead I got something else, probably more familiar.. Usually its "sounds like a front left puncture" and not the driveshaft though...  Anyways, better luck next time and thanks for sharing!
  14. Been trying to see the 3D image by staring through the screen for some time now. Is it one of those, or no?
  15. I, for one, will not fall for this again. Fool me once... shame on... Shame on you. Fool me... you can't get fooled again!.. ...who am I kidding. I have already fallen. I want all the facts! #thiscar, #thatcar, #whatcar, #whoscar, #142
  16. Banverket Special (equivalent in Britain would be BR Special) was the name of it in my home town of Ängelholm, in the North-eastern Southern of Sweden. Supposedly it was a favourite amongst navvies, one could guess that after long days of work on the track you'll need some serious grub.
  17. Why choose the Spanish (it is Spanish right?) cover? Rally RACC DLC for DiRT Rally?
  18. A full day of "play testing" the menu system at the Codies HQ  would be... Something.
  19. Maybe I'm off track, but that's not what I meant. I don't think what CMR3 does is intrusive either, I think it might be a good thing giving the player a chance to see what goes on before and after the stage.
  20. @gfRally mentioned CMR3 as an example of a good level of immersion from elements around the special stage, so I just had to look it up, and I like it!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rA4WaDPYfo Add the task of driving the car all the way to the time control after the stage and the finger count down and I'll be a very happy puppy. Of course all of these details could be optional?
  21. Couldn't agree more! #WhatCar #WhosCar
  22. No, you're not alone there! Perhaps a slightly prettier service area (like the one in CMR 2005) and more refinements in the menu would be nice, but time spent driving through ceremonial starts and the like is time that I would rather spend racing on a stage! I think there should be fluff in the championship, or at least in the replays, BUT always in the service park.  It would be nice to have some animations when you are pulling up to the stage.  Someone counting down with hand signals, someone checking the Co-Drivers logs.   CMR3 had a nice balance.  I could dig that ga
  23. I'd love to be able to set myself up for the stage. I think it's just me but a start line always gets me very excited when I visit a rally in real life. The anticipation, the concentration, the short exchange of words and time cards between marshals and co-driver. There's just a sort of an air around it that fascinates me. For me the perfect rally game would be the one where you could do the liaison between the stages too. But, again,  I guess that's just me.  On the other hand I'll happily give Codies more money for practically the same game but with some more content. DR is alre
