  1. My copy of GAS didn't even sell on EBay at fifteen quid.
    Its reputation precedes it.....

Willing to swap for a Greggs sausage roll and a copy of Viz if anyone is interested. I'll even chuck in a bottle of antifreeze. You'll need it.
  2. Reading into Loore's post it looks like another potential problem wasnt found. They just never found the cause of the original problem by the sound of it, hence no patch!

So in other words, one month on and no-one knows if you're any closer to getting your patch.

I'm glad you're happy with this.
  3. I agree. Personal abuse not good.
Airing one's opinion to the people that need to hear it, well that's one of the things that's gonna happen when a company sets up a web forum to discuss its products.

I say this with total sincerity:
CM really need to take on board the views of its customer base. A company or product are only as good as the customers say it is.
In this case, both fall short of my expectation . If this were a microwave oven or car, NONE of you would be happy to wait this long for a fix. You'd have got your refund and moved on to another make and model. Only with software we don't always have an alternative and aren't protected by the same SOGA.
Just hope CM learn from this, because under this murky crust is an incredibly talented dev team with what appears to be a genuine passion for motorsport. That shines through with abundance.

Prove me right in your first release on XBoxOne and I'll happily recompense your efforts :)

  4. FOUR WEEKS from discovering the problem and still no idea when a fix is coming.
FOUR MONTHS since release and still no workable online platform?
Yes I would have liked a bit more urgency.
Everyone wants a patch that works, of course they do.

But hey, you are happy with your purchase and I'm happy for you, that's great.
Im just a bit more demanding when I buy something and expect it to be fit for purpose.
This is the first game I've experienced anything like this, and it's a bit of a shock to still not be able to a basic thing like race online without it freezing every two races.

You just sit and wait for your patch. I'm sure it will come one day. I'm just not prepared to share in your easygoing carefree existence. I'm fifty quid shortchanged.
For that reason alone my copy is for sale. I'll never know if it gets fixed, and quite frankly I'm not willing to give it the benefit of the doubt any more.

Man alive, here's the deal, the computer screen , isn't real, the xbox, isn't real, ps3 isn't real! they're all virtual. Outside the front door , that is real. Arguing, complaining, backbiting, getting into it with people , being followed around (specific to sasblink) , sucked into a surreal world , where you keep coming across the same people causing the same trouble being irritated by the same people who you have never even met!. There's a power button on devices for a reason. Peace out guy's.
Correct. And on the Xbox 360 the power button is for rebooting games that dont work, despite still being pedalled In the shops to unsuspecting kids for thirty quid a pop.
    Funny old world.
  6. Yes Loore it's the weekend, well spotted.
Its when most of us like to play games online as a reward for working hard all week.
I sometimes work evenings and weekends to keep my clients happy.

It's not like we've been waiting for months.

As a company you've really perfected this PR lark
