I'm not going to get into all the details in a public space, as it's not my place to talk about such technical matters. There are preparations taken ahead of time [1], actions taken "live" when an incident takes place [2], and a review after an incident to refine processes for the future and learn from what has gone before [3]. [1] ie: preparations were made before PS+ launch on a technical side in anticipation of a large player count, and on a staff side multiple team members elected to work evenings/nights as that's when the game is most popular [2] ie: we had a task force for PS+ launch and set up new communication paths between different departments [3] while it's easy to say "servers are down" looking from the outside in, there are dozens, potentially hundreds of reasons for such a thing occurring, and every incident is different -

If you're looking for a "state of the nation" kind of post where we detail everything, that's unlikely to happen for various reasons. The team is working on various things regarding servers however, in fact we had a review recently of the big outage from a few weeks ago, what happened and how we can manage things in the future. Although the game is "content complete" it's still being supported. ๐ -
I could ask but I wouldn't expect changes for quite a while as the web team is working on several other projects at the moment.

Ironically, the opposite was what caused a 10 minute drop this morning. A server tweak was happening to restore some of the lost server functionality the PlayStation Plus launch caused.

So far I only know of what's announced, and the only one I've really been hands-on with is Solberg's.

I like how you can download anybody's setup from the Leaderboard. The more competitive esports people might want a toggle that lets them choose if they want to share or not, but for somebody that's not as quick it can be handy to find what rapid guys use. That being said, a good setup doesn't make you fast, and every setup should ideally be tweaked to suit the habits of the driver. -
Yup. Off the top of my head you have: Solberg World Cup Chris Ingram British Rally Skoda Motorsport All using the Clubs feature.

If a game is delisted, that normally means the licenses and commerical agreements for the title have expired, and it won't appear on the store again. Note: This is somewhat common among racing games that feature licensed content. For example, every Forza title expires after 4 years of availability and gets taken down from Xbox and Windows. If you can find exiting keys or a physical version, you may still be able to play.

It's been in there a while but it's relatively hidden, and was mainly intended for Motorsport Network. It's in the guide you linked. We share it on social every week too ๐ Video resource is towards more critical projects right now, but I like the idea ๐

There is an option to manually set the grid in Multiplayer Lobbies, it's in the public documentation we provided recently. Maybe for future Invitationals it'll get used ๐ (note; no confirmation on future ones yet, up to World RX really)

I can bring it up as a suggestion, but given where we are with the game dev work on DR2 is as minimal as possible, so I suspect no changes here. Thanks for the info though, it may help.

Looks like about 6,000 people did at least 1 Stage according to the Clubs website. Let's see how Sweden goes. 2 weeks to complete this one so take a break if you need to.
