    Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack

If anything's repeatable, stick it in the bug thread anyway. 1.14 is getting locked in real soon though so at a certain point bugs won't get looked at until 1.15.

What's the funky bug? I know the gear change animation is getting updated. Also, no idea on the Legacy.

    Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack

You need everything installed or else half the game won't work, quirk of the way we loan out content to players with Daily Challenges.

Official DiRT Clubs - Vote on 2020 Season

There are reasons for the length which I won't go into here, bear in mind the last event ran for 6 months. Besides, there may be plenty of other things to keep you occupied in the intervening weeks 😉

    Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack

We're looking to make codriver tweaks in the next update, but that's still TBC. This however does require a full republish which means the entire location needs to be downloaded again, so expect another 10+GB update.
  10. Hello everyone, below is our guide to using the spectator features in DiRT Rally 2.0, so that you can host your own community/esports events and livestreams. Setting up a Session (Rally) Setting up a Session (Rallycross) Changing grid positions in Rallycross Using Trackside Cameras Using Broadcast Mode Spectator Controls Players Disconnecting
  11. Players Disconnecting If at any point players disconnect from the lobby for any reason, we recommend you create a new Session which contains the remaining Stages and settings from when the disconnect occurred. If you are running a Rally event that features combined Stage Times, you should note down the times after each stage as they are not saved when you create a new Session. If you are running a Rallycross session, mark down the points players earn between Heats/Qualifiers, as these are not saved when you create a new Session. If you're not noting down Stage/Race results by hand on paper or in a spreadsheet, we recommend taking a screenshot whenever you get to the results screen, and referring back to these if required for results calculation.
  12. Spectator Controls The image above shows the button layout and its corresponding on screen menu element whilst spectating. If you're using a PlayStation controller the buttons in the similar positions do the same thing as the Xbox example shown here. Left D-Pad / Switch to previous player. Right D-Pad / Switch to next player. Left Bumper / Change to previous camera angle. Right Bumper / Change to next camera angle. View Button / Hides/Unhides Broadcast menu (can also be used in Broadcast Mode). B Button / Quit Spectating (avoid this during livestreams/recordings) X Button / Open/Close Broadcast menu (works regardless of whether or not Broadcast Mode is enabled)
  13. Using Broadcast Mode During a Stage/race spectators will have access to the Broadcast menu on the bottom right of the screen. This will appear when a button is pressed and will fade away to become invisible after a few seconds of inactivity. Broadcast Mode can be toggled via a context menu. This allows the Spectator which players or camera angles without needing to have the menu visible, which is useful for when you don't want to show menus in livestreams. To enable Broadcast Mode use the context menu shown above, pressing X/Square to open said menu. Enable Broadcast Mode with the left/right directional buttons and wait a few seconds for the menu to disappear. To turn off Broadcast Mode press X (Xbox controller) or Square (PlayStation) to make the menu appear again, and toggle it the same way as above. Note: Spectators with Broadcast Mode enabled should refrain from pressing the back button (B/O). Doing this will result in the Spectator being taken to a screen where they are no longer spectating. If you do this by accident, press X/Square to start spectating again.
  14. Using Trackside Cameras After entering the session as a Spectator and a race/Stage begins, the camera view can be changed at any point by the spectator. To access the Trackside Camera it requires the spectator to switch to the Roof Camera using the left and right bumper buttons (LB/RB on an Xbox controller, or L1/R1 on PlayStation) and wait a few seconds until the trackside camera triggers. Helicopter cameras are not available, and any instances where a helicopter camera would normally be used in Single Player are replaced by a "chase" camera that follows the car.
  15. Changing grid positions in Rallycross In the lobby the player who initially creates the session (the host) will be able to move the player order around before launching into a session. This will be used for grid positioning in Rallycross events where the grid order will be directly affected by the order in which the players appear in the lobby. The driver at the top will be in Pole Position. The host can change this order by using the left and right directional buttons to move the highlighted player up or down in the lobby list (in the example above, PJ Tierney the Host has pressed right to move himself further down the order). Note that spectators will be unaffected by this ordering system. Therefore, it makes sense to move both spectators to the bottom of the list, so that they can be easily identified and not confused with players.
  16. Setting up a Session (Rallycross) From the Main Menu navigate to the Freeplay tab > select Custom > then select Create Championship Navigate to the Multiplayer Settings tab > set Session Visibility to Private and Entrants to Humans Only. Hit the [Apply] Button to confirm. Select the Add Event tile > Choose your preferred Rallycross location > set the Format to Single Race > set the desired vehicle class, weather and laps and hit [Confirm]. Once all stages/events are setup and confirmed, your players should navigate to the Freeplay tab on the main menu. They should then use Find Game menu option and select your Lobby. If players cannot join the Lobby in this way, invite them manually (same process as mentioned in the Rally section above) The host (primary spectator) and secondary spectator should navigate to the Lobby tab, highlight a player, press the Player Options button prompt (Y/Triangle) and select Start Spectating Player. Spectators will be denoted by an eye symbol which will appear next to their username. The host will be denoted by a crown symbol. The host can now navigate back to the Championship Configuration tab to start the championship.
  17. Setting up a Session (Rally) From the Main Menu navigate to the Freeplay tab > select Custom > then select Create Championship Navigate to the Multiplayer Settings tab > set Session Visibility to Private and Entrants to Humans Only. Hit the [Apply] Button to confirm. Select the Add Event tile > Choose your preferred Rally location > set the desired vehicle class and degradation Multiple rally stages can be added via this screen, select Add Stage to choose each one. If you select Edit Event in the bottom of the screen you can also randomise the Stages that appear. Selecting individual stage tiles allows for customising the stage selection, stage conditions and service area length. Once all Stages/Events are set up, you can select Invite Friends from the lobby screen. This will allow you to invite the drivers into the lobby. Please add the drivers accounts as friends prior to this, how you do this varies depending on which game console/platform you're playing on. The host (primary spectator) and secondary spectator should navigate to the Lobby tab, highlight a player, press the Player Options button prompt (Y on an Xbox controller, Triangle on PlayStation) and select Start Spectating Player. Spectators will be denoted by an eye symbol which will appear next to their username. The host will be denoted by a crown symbol (examles of both are shown in the screenshot above). The host can now navigate back to the Championship Configuration tab to start the championship.

Dirt Rally 2.0 Broadcast Events - Biweekly?

Can you put the Twitch/YouTube VOD in here when the broadcast is done? Would be worth a watch 🙂

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

Being nominated is its own reward and a testament to the hard work and passion everybody at Codemasters put into creating and supporting the game. 🙂 Let's not forget that hundreds of games are released by UK studios every year, and fewer than 10 were on the shortlist. Not even F1 2019 (which was in my opinion the best F1 game ever made) was on that.

    Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack

Very easy to bin it on the last jump too. Also, incase you didn't know, Jon's FLAT OUT run on YouTube was on that car/Stage specifically to help people with the Achievement 🙂

    What happens with Rally Sweden?

You would be right. None is planned to my knowledge and you're the only person I've seen that has pointed out something like what you described in your opening post.
