v1.13 driving physics update? [CM response: No change was made]
PJTierney replied to Tigron's topic in DiRT Rally 2.0
Hi everyone, just got word from the dev team on this: There are no differences between the physics implementation in the VR version of the game and the non-VR version of the game. Also, to confirm: no changes were made to the handling physics in version 1.13 That should hopefully put things to rest for you all. -
Is there a similar solution for Xbox players? I don't think so as cloud saves are always synced.

Not at the time you posted that. A small server side fix went out this morning to sort the players losing access to preorder cars in My Team. -
Yes.

Is that happening only in Germany? It's on the sheet for our next meeting (although admittedly, quote a few things are as we do the usual sweep through this thread). In the meantime, have you looked into @Ialyrn's comment about the stock tuning setup? -
The answer is simple really, the vast majority of RX drivers play on PC, and given that this was arranged rather quickly it was decided that Steam be the platform of choice. If there are future Invitationals, I'll bring this up since I know there are a lot of quick RX players on PS4.

Also got all the balls and tracks from the World Rollycross Championship.

Don't forget the Colin McRoll FLAT OUT Pack. We don't even have to update the car models:
-
More drivers to be announced soon 😉
-
It'll be lower than that as the majority of the grid is real drivers. Don't have a locked in number yet.

No plans to make bespoke themes, but if you're able to make a theme with just a custom image, any screenshot will do. We upload all our screens at 1080p. It worked for me, lolol. We're not officially recommending people do this, and are looking into making the Achievement unlock "properly".

They're keeping the bonkers aero, that makes me happy. 🙂 (anyhoo, WRC thread for this)

When I have time this week I'll have another bash at creating the Club Championship. Should hopefully go a little quicker as I screenshotted every Event and can just copy from that. I went with a custom route order this time instead of the auto-generated ones I did before.

You should in theory be able to select clutch override even in Auto. I started using it myself recently (turned it on halfway through Colin launch stream) and noticed the difference coming out of corners.
-
Turbo? Kick the clutch to get boost.

Technically you have the same amount of time, 24 hours 😉

Issue: "If in Doubt..." Achievement failed to unlock after completing all Colin McRae Scenarios Notes: All Scenarios completed on Medium (61) difficulty, except for the following, which were done on Very Hard (91): Greece 1994 Argentina 1996 Platform: Xbox One X Game version: Digital (Standard Edition + Seasons 1 & 2 + Seasons 3 & 4) Non-Standard Peripherals: Fanatec Clubsport Formula V2, Fanatec CLS Elite Base, Fanatec CSL Elite Pedals LC @UnderclassGDfan and @Eagleizer already reported similar (both did all Scenarios on Very Hard), merely adding what difficulties I did each Scenario on incase it helps identify anything 🙂 -
Same method to use custom liveries for DLC cars
PJTierney replied to mesa's topic in DiRT Rally Series Suggestions
No point tagging Christina, she works at Rare now. Also, I wouldn’t expect custom liveries to ever be a possibility for DLC cars in this title. If that changes, I’ll let you all know. -
Please use the video thread in future, thanks.

I had the full year of events made, but it wouldn’t save 😞 So this weekend’s Scotland run was a quick event to just have something out there.

This was a one-off for the FLAT OUT pack.
