real life 2020 FIA World Rallycross Championship
PJTierney replied to tbtstt's topic in DiRT Rally 2.0
Cars like the Polo are what I really like about motorsport. Yeah it’s fun to romanticise about the privateers and the underdogs, but what interests me are the supreme efforts of the engineers, drivers and rulebook skimmers to build machines at the limit of technology and human ability. When I watch WEC I don’t care about LMP2 or GTE-AM all that much, but seeing Porsche, Toyota and Audi slug it out in LMP1-H while skimming through traffic? That’s my jam. -
Launch Event was originally a 38 second laptime. That’s near World Record pace 😉

It basically says “susceptible to motion sickness? Argentina will kill you unless you soften the springs” 😉 But yeah, it’s a rating system for how queasy some stages might make you. https://support.oculus.com/comfort/ Comfortable experiences are appropriate for most people, although this rating doesn't mean that an experience is going to be comfortable for everyone. These experiences generally avoid camera movement, player motion or disorientating content and effects. Moderate experiences are appropriate for many but certainly not everyone. These experiences might incorporate some camera movement, player motion or occasionally disorientating content and effects. Intense experiences aren't appropriate for most people, especially those who are new to VR. These experiences incorporate significant camera movement, player motion or disorientating content and effects. Unrated experiences may contain intense content, which may not be right for most people, especially those who are new to VR. If you experience motion sickness or other VR effects from an unrated experience, you should select another unrated experience, or try an experience in the Oculus Store that's rated for your comfort level.

We're aware of this. A slight hiccup occured with the release process which has slowed it down a bit, but it'll be up as soon as possible.

Lydden Hill, UK – Available Now in DiRT Rally 2.0

There’s a process involved and it’s essentially a waiting game now. It’ll come though and be worth the wait 🙂 -
Go watch Formula E, it’s fun and in real life those things are louder than you think.
-
Maybe, or maybe I'm just being unpredictable. I mean if I can't predict what I'm going to do, how are you lot going to? 😉 If I’m not wrong the liveries on Xbox are automatically added to the cars? Go on “my games” > “manage game and add on”>“updates” and maybe the liveries are there (if you have the season pass of course) On Xbox you should have a small DLC item in the [Ready to Install] list. The one for the liveries isn't available yet on the platform, but I was informed yesterday that the right people are aware and investigating 🙂 At least Lydden Hill is out though 🙂 Side-note: No further update on Lydden Hill for PSN EU, will drop word on the official socials when that changes.
-
Maybe next year 😉
-
No new cars in 1.11 other than those we have already communicated 🙂

Yup, this is a rare time where Sony EU release is behind the others. The issues surrounding Xbox DLC releases have pretty much been solved now, so much so that sometimes they’re releasing as early as Steam (Monday afternoon) 🙂

If you think that one's good, wait till you see the Season 4 Stage 2 design 😎

Festive Challenges & Liveries – Coming to DiRT Rally 2.0 this December

*checks list* This is correct. Several Events use DLC Locations (as Promo Challenges) but all use base-game car Classes. -

Oculus users can take part in Club Events, however you already know the situation regarding Club Events that use DLC locations.
