Nice....but where is the Fiesta R5 MKII? I did take part in the World Series Qualifier's, not all of it, but i thought that wasn't necessary.

It should be where your Rewards are for the usual things like Daily Challenges and such.

    [Update: We're investigating]

Also, for those that want to hear the anti-lag:

  2. In addition to our already-existing anti-cheat measures, we have made some recent improvements on our backend to detect fraudulent activity.

One of those improvements has been enhancements of our support for Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC), for the Steam version of the game.

For more information on VAC please see this article.

If you're using third party modifications for DiRT Rally 2.0 (such as liveries or cameras) on Steam, please check with the mod's creator that any modifications made do not trigger VAC.

Codemasters can not provide technical support on any queries made regarding usage of third party modifications. Usage of these mods is entirely at your own risk.

To me it's 6-speed since my H-shifter only has 6 gears so I couldn't use the 7th gear even if I wanted to. Which I don't. Cossie just feels clumsy and overweight to me, nowhere near as nimble around corners as the Lancia in particular

Have you adjusted the gearing to compensate for lack of 7th gear?

It'll hurt the acceleration even more though.

I agree on the nimbleness though, for me the Evo 6 and the Delta are the standout cars in the Class.

    Hello everyone.

With the release of Version 1.16 of DiRT Rally 2.0 we have reached the final planned update for the game.

We're not ruling out future updates entirely (however they're unlikely), but understandably, the Rally team is placing a heavy focus on future projects.

As such, we will not have the traditional "bug reporting thread" for 1.16. The Support forum is still open should any major issues arise that affect all players (server outages etc.) but for the minor stuff, do not expect any further tweaks and fixes unless we say otherwise.

That being said, you all still want to chat about 1.16 and your experiences with it so here's a thread and Patch Notes 🙂

Plus I'm a Ferrari fan so...

    That explains it 😄

If I remember correctly (I'm not a developer), when the driver ratings were updated a while back you'd get an in-game mail about them.

In this mail was a button along the lines of [Apply Update to Existing My Team and Career Saves].

In other words, you had the choice of whether to keep the current stats for any saves in progress, or update them.

I am guessing it'll be the same for any future updates, but I'm not the authority no that 🙂

Forza Horizon 3 is being delisted on September 27th, it's discounted now on the Microsoft store. Probably music licensing or something stupid like that. Correct me if I'm wrong but the car licencing for Dirt games is indefinite right? If Codemasters can manage this why don't other companies too?

Forza typically do 4 year licenses.

I don't know the durations for DiRT games, but they're certainly not indefinite.

Maybe they get renewed every few years, considering DiRT Rally is still available :classic_huh:

  8. Hi there.

There's a thread below for mod discussion, feel free to ask in there if anybody else has tried that mod in particular.

Codemasters itself doesn't officially endorse any modifications made to the game, and cannot support any technical issues that arise from using one.

As always, it is at your own risk to modify your game.

Very glad that we have Ekstrom this year.

Has he committed to full season yet?

He was supposed to only do Sweden but somehow ended up fighting for wins 😄

A little detour, but art of rally seems to be reviewing well. And they even say "the handling here has more in common with Dirt Rally than Sega Rally", see here: https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2020-09-22-art-of-rally-review-a-slight-yet-stylish-take-on-off-road-driving

I'm happy that came out well and it getting good reviews 🙂

There's a thread for it here by the way:

  11. Took me a while to get what you were asking, but now the answer is clear to me.

Notice how the length of each bar is almost exactly the length of the team name?

The bar on the right is therefore only a colour indicator, telling you Mercedes is teal, Red Bull is blue etc.

It doesn't track the performance, its only function is to tell you what colour on each graph represents which team.
