@PJTierney looking forward to the anniversary show, thanks - is it live or pre-recorded?

It's essentially a pilot for the stream room, so we did it pre-recorded on Anniversary Day and double-checked various things before uploading.

Just over an hour long though, enjoy the banter and questionable driving 😄

what about car setups? correct me if I'm wrong, but currently for each car we can have up to 8 setups per surface type (ie, gravel/dirt, tarmac, snow, monte carlo). Scotland will send the number of gravel/dirt ones to 9, so as things stand we will not be able to have a ready-made setup for each location to load in easily once it's added to the roster.

I don't know regarding that one.

May i ask @PJTierney, I did look at few Liveries that you made on your site, You are very talented, is there chance You could make some liveries for Cars in DR 2.0? this liveries could sell via Store or as Pack)  to be honest most "special D+" liveries are not really "special" (there where one or two nice, other really meh..)

The editor in Forza is vastly different to what native dev tools can use. Also, fan-made liveries don't have any licensing requirements 😉

When I joined, I gave feedback on the Season 1 and 2 designs, and asked dev team if Season 3 and 4 designs could have more logos and be more "rally like". They took that on board 🙂

Elura seems to disagree that you're nominated. You should probably double check.

    :classic_laugh:

I know why that downvote came in, previous posting history and all that.

    @PJTierney

The challenges in the Flat Out Pack are they driven offline or in the career/my team ?

I think this was the original plan, as one of the achievements (Fire Up That Car... Again) dictated that you had to finish in Tier 1 in an event for the Audi Quattro, which was impossible because there were no events like that. it got fixed of course.

I think Scotland is free for everyone though, right? so you wouldn't have to pay for that.

I'm 96% sure it's offline. Freeplay or possibly a new tab (like the World Series was, temporarily)

    • Scotland is only in the FLAT OUT pack. It's "free" if you already have a Season.

    • Colin McRae Scenarios get their own tab in main menu.
I haven't had a deep dive of it yet but from what I can tell it's a similar structure to Historic Championships with each Scenario behind 4 Tiers.

I mean, I can't think of any car in the game that isn't competitive within its own class against the 99% of drivers out there. You can take a 240z or a Manta 400 into an online MP lobby or club and still win it outright against the "faster" cars if you can keep your momentum up. Sure, you won't see them used in big league events with the top 10 drivers who duke it out for WRs, but against the rest of us? Totally viable.

    That's what I meant by subjective 🙂

For the vast majority of players, every car in the game is "competitive" if you're quick enough.

    1. Didn't you forget some small content here?
    2. And will be the 13th location be available day 1 in clubs?
    3. Can you create 13 events á 12 stages in clubs then?
    1. Yes. Here's a fresh screen for you:

      Image

    2. I believe this is planned.

    3. Clubs are limited to 12 Events per Championship (as that's what the game is limited to).

Apologies if this has already been asked, has the Metro livery shown in the teaser been confirmed to be included in the pack?

It's a bonus livery as part of the FLAT OUT pack. There may be more 😉

I'll have to pay as I was picking and choosing the DLC, there were cars and locations I wasn't bothered about so I wasn't going to pay for content I didn't want or need.

    Fair enough 🙂

Just so you know, FLAT OUT is a complete "pack", containing the 2 SUBARUs, bonus liveries and the 40 Scenarios.

    • Open: 50-60% AI
    • Clubman: 60-70% AI
    • Pro: 70-80% AI
    • Elite: 80-90% AI
    • Master: 90-100+% AI

Close enough (for the higher ones at least).

A good barometer is seeing what AI levels are for Very Easy, Easy, Medium, Hard, Very Hard are in Custom.

Career levels are roughly in the middle of each of these difficulty bands (so Masters would be about 95%), with some variance based on a number of factors (which AI is driving, conditions, car, location etc.).

100% AI difficulty is roughly (to my knowledge and from my experience of doing Career/Historics), less than 5% off human world record pace.

In short: if you're competitive against the highest AI number in each band in Custom, you should (provided you don't make too many mistakes) beat the similar band in Career.

You don't need to have deluxe or super deluxe edition, You can buy separate season (s1+s2) or (s3+s4) and still get free Flat Out

    Correct.

FLAT OUT is being added to every individual Season bundle, so no matter which full Season you get you're unlocking it.

I think Pikes Peak is an interesting one to discuss. I have seen some drivers comment that Pikes Peak is actually more difficult now it is completely paved, as the road is much narrower (and hasmuch less room for error) than the dirt route did...

It's also faster and the cars are getting better at maintaining speed at high altitude (through electrification).
