It is frustrating but manageable (for me) as I hear the engine sound isn't right so quickly change down a gear - but I am a 'for fun' driver. It would be unacceptable for someone at the top of the tree or a TT specialist. It happens to me maybe once every 20 laps and, because I love the wheel I can forgive it that.
Yeah that's the fault, it happened on our internal ones too.
I was eyeing up the GT3 but when it came time to buy I found that it was no longer available so I got the Formula V2 instead.
Speaking of, nice mod here:

I do 25% races and tend to always start with Softs.

The main draw is that it's got the exact shape and dimensions as the one from the real car but functionally, the Formula V2 does everything the GT3 goes as it has a similar number of buttons and switches.

Interesting, though far too technical for somebody like me to comprehend 🙂
Do you have a tldr, and is there anything that can be done on your end to help correct this?

It's been discontinued.
I believe there was a design flaw with the paddles, as some of the Rally team had that wheel and reported problems.

Friendly reminder for the last few posts 🙂
QuoteFor general connectivity issues we don't provide one-to-one support on the forums, and you're best off emailing custservice@codemasters.com
Reporting issues in this thread is still useful however, as a large volume of reports in a short space of time clearly indicates wider connectivity issues and helps alert the support team.
I don't have a specific answer for the 55-58 error that shows up, so the email is your best bet.

@FlatOverCrest It's worth asking about this in the DIRT 5 Discord, as that's where all "official" replies are currently. 🙂

However, I do believe that it looks even more striking than it did before.I do want to ask or offer the Dirt team something, @PJTierney. Last year you guys made a 'World Series' design for the Polo R5 but haven't done the something similar this year. A surprisingly large number of people have contacted me, asking if I could convince the team to add this design. This includes some of the top drivers like Jarod Pesch and Daniel Johansson. So my question is simple... Would the Dirt team consider doing this for the Grand Finals for example? I don't want anything in return, no strings attached, completely free except for one thing: my logo should remain on the car as a token or recognition. If you do want to discuss this further @PJTierney, feel free to pm me and we can figure out how to proceed from there.

All I can do is pass the word on, but I like this design 🙂

If I remember correctly, the Multiplayer Car has the same handling model and performance as the Mercedes.
In other words, it's a Mercedes you can paint in different colours 😉

Hmm..
I don't have a solution that I can think of right now. If you email this to custservice@codemasters.com they may have one as they get a few of these and may have investigated older ones already.

And the expert's been busy on other things (and is on Annual Leave this week) 🙂
I've sent a reminder, and when I get a confirmed answer I'll post it here.

Manual is doable, when I play on a pad I have all assists off 🙂

It seems this thread has run its course.
To answer the original question though:
- Codemasters, like all major games publishers, has a working relationship with content creators and other partners to help promote each release.
- Some of those campaigns are paid, others are a simple case of sending codes or inviting creators to events.
- The details of any particular relationship with a content creator won't be shared in this thread.
And finally...
- The team(s) selling and promoting games are not the same as those developing it.
- Don't assume that game being heavily promoted results in fewer resources being made available to the team(s) making said games. 🙂

Just checked and my contact is out of office all this week. When I have an answer, I'll let you know.

Probably, it was developed entirely from scratch afterall, whereas the other DLC Locations had a previous game's notes as basic reference.

Bakkerud was so giddy with joy after the Qualifiers, shame the Final didn't work out for him.

The co-driver audio is recorded at three different levels of intensity. If he sounds excited it means you're going through the Stage at high speed.
Watch a flat-out run of Scotland and it sounds like he's dropping a hot new rap album 😄

Yup, expect a whole bunch of Xbox 360 games to get small updates like this soon, if they haven't already.

Do you ever just abandon a stage before terminal damage? If so, how often would you estimate that you do so?
-
Do you ever have points in a stage when you take one too many seconds after your car has ended up somewhere off the road, or you made a miscalculation and thought "Maybe today is not the day for this stage."?
-
How does your driving change after you've had a setback and realize this stage is way more than you thought? (if that ever happens to anyone else?
- Does anyone else find that there's always a "boss" at the end of stages right before the finish? Maybe I'm just too fast trying to get to the end of the stage, but I find that somewhere in the last leg, there's a corner combo or a stand of trees or a stray boulder that wait to throw you off your race.
-
If I'm going to get Terminal I normally don't have enough time to think or pause the game beforehand 😉
-
Maybe at the end of a stream once I get fatigued, I'll note that I've done enough driving for the day.
-
Restart the Stage, keep pushing, but make a mental note of that corner so that I don't make the same mistake next time.
- Some Stages have "that one corner" 🙂
