How does anyone use the paddles to shift in rally?!

    I play with a F1 rim 😉

For paddles you either need long ones that you can reach at higher rotations, or you use a low rotation. I use 360 because anything higher doesn't make sense with an F1 rim.

I wish we would have a practice mode with track acclimatisation program to learn the tracks and to get a better feeling of corner speed without racing line.

    It's a great little tool indeed 🙂

I don't know if there are any plans to make it a standalone thing in this game (I just make tutorials and take the occasional screenshot), but it would be nice, I agree 🙂

Thank you for your attention. If it is caused by the language file, I can use the English version to play in the future, even though my English is not so good. But if you can, please unblock my online mode. I really did not cheat and never thought about cheating. Thanks again for your reply: )

Can you screenshot whatever message you're getting when it says you're "banned"?

I learned a lot from watching some of your basic videos on YouTube. I haven't gotten on Twitch too much yet, but I'll give it a look.

This style of racing really has a way of keeping you humble.

Oh yeah, you can't do this in a real rally as you only have one shot.

In a game though, the Restart button is a learning tool.

We're all the best at Sector 1 😉

  5. My way of getting fast:

    • Push like hell.
    • Crash and restart a few times.
    • Crash and restart a few more times.
    • Figure out where the limit is.
    • Aim to be just below that limit in speed/placement.
    • Be fast.

If you watch my recent Twitch streams you'll see this in real time. I go from bailing half the corners to beating 100% AI on a Stage within like 20 minutes.

Hello pj, my steamID is Syurli. I have published my game library. I think you should be able to easily confirm whether I have a genuine Dust game. I even pre-ordered Dust 5. Dust series games can be purchased directly and normally on Steam (in China and without vpn), but there is no Chinese language support, the reason I have said.

I've passed this thread on, and if I learn anything that can help, I'll let you know 🙂

Also, bonus points for the Lightning background ❤️

  7. Hmm..

To anyone reading, I wouldn't advise downloading links others give out so I'm removing that link (no offence @Syurli, just a security suggestion to others).

As for your particular issue, my guess is that since you didn't purchase it officially through Steam is that the site you bought it from may have sold you a pirated version of the game.

I'll pass this thread on internally though and see if I can get any more answers.

Also I noticed that I needed to raise the car height, probably as your aero and engine gets better and your chassis lighter, you're creating to much downforce and the car bottoms out.

I'm already noticing this in Season 2; I'm scraping the road everywhere 😄

Focus RS (because Ken Block background and therefore good for YouTube purposes)

Bear in mind that Ken Block is a Forza Horizon ambassador now, so anything livery-wise that's "obviously Ken Block" would be a no-no.

  10. Hello everyone.

    Maintenance Details:

There will be ongoing maintenance of almost all Codemasters servers during the times below:

    • October 12 - October 16
    • 08.00 to 16.00 UTC

    How this affects you:

    • Servers will remain active during this period.
    • There may be occasional connectivity issues that impact your experience in DiRT Rally 2.0.
    • You do not need to report these to us, as our IT team will be actively monitoring and working on the servers throughout the week.

    My Advice:

    • If you're taking part in any important events, like competitive Club Championships or the DiRT Rally 2.0 World Series Qualifiers, try to compete in them when there is no active maintenance. That should help minimise connection issues preventing you from submitting Leaderboard times.
