It's been released? -
That's why said the age thing. When you're older you don't get embarrassed about things like that, you just learn to not care and get on with it.alonsofan46 said:
Ummm :\Platy said:Maybe when you're older your point of view will change. Losing by 8 goals to a team made of people who earn more a month than you do in several years is nothing to be embarrassed about.
I'm not laughing at them, most of them (if not all of them) are better than me. And money doesn't come into it. If I was playing in front of 10 people against a team of non-professionals and I lost 8 -0 , mainly because of my mistakes , I'd be pretty embarrassed by it. -

I would, it'd be a great experience. They've played more international football than you or I ever will. Nothing to be embarrassed about. -
I can wait and see what F1 15 is like. I've got iRacing and Assetto Corsa 1.0 is coming out soon, so they'll keep me occupied. -
I hope we get more races where the tyres don't degrade, it makes the sport really exciting. -
If you guys have some time to waste, I suggest watching this interview about Assetto Corsa. I believe their team is only around 15 people, the game they've made is incredible.

Tried oval racing tonight, got clipped by a spinner and that wrecked my aero and I stood no chance. Managed to gain some places after a big wreck at the final turn.
Had two races at Okayama. First race I made a great overtake at the hairpin, then spun at the next corner and wrecked badly.
Second race was a bit special, held a spin at the 2nd corner on the 1st lap then slowly worked my way through the field to get to 2nd after 5 laps. Got to 3 laps left and I was 8 seconds behind the leader. He put in 1.56.xxx for his final 3 laps, I went 1.53.0 followed by a 1.52.7 to bring the lead down to a second. Overtook him around the outside at the hairpin and held on to win. I honestly thought he slowed down to let me catch him so he could battle, but his times were consistent I just happened to be 4.5 seconds quicker than him on lap 9. Platypus Alonso. -
I don't think it was that long ago. Might have been after the 2010 release, or around that time.RevolvingPrawn said:

I posted a link to a free 3-month sub on the other page. I think @RevolvingPrawn took advantage of it.Hughesy said:
I loved it when I had a subscription for Iracing, I had to cancel it though as its too unpredictable as to when I can race due to my condition. It's an awesome sim though. I always found every race good fun.Platy said:Completed my 2nd race on iRacing, this time at a good track. Okayama.
Finished 3rd after sitting 4th for most of the race. 3rd place spun on the final lap and snuck through. This consistency pleases me though.

Yeah, I'm not quick enough yet to go for wins. I raced last night at Laguna Seca, first half a lap was very clean racing despite it being a rookie class... then I spun out. Then I caught everyone up again, then I spun out. Repeat that a couple more times. I forced myself to finish though. I hate Laguna Seca.jordieDAFC said:
In your first few races its worth just trying to finish instead of going for the win. The first few laps are usually pretty messy with people spinning and thinking they are Fernando Alonso at the start of a race so worth just holding off a bit and letting them be. After that the field usually splits itself into numerous packs and its pretty calmPlaty said:Just spent an hour practicing at Okayama. I never practice that much on a racing game, will aim for a race either Thursday or Friday. Really enjoying it so far, the price still puts me off it but I'm starting to see it's worth it.
As long as you don't have too many incidents then you'l get out the rookie class quickly -
Glad I skipped 14, things look good for this version. -

Aren't most Japanese cars in Europe built in the UK?
