It won't, I'd be surprised if any AAA games support it. You need a really high resolution and a very high framerate, the PS4 isn't powerful enough for that and still have decent graphics. I wouldn't be surprised if Morpheus was for PS5

Why are you playing it when you get the first one in the MCC? The only thing I'm not looking forward to is downloading the 20GB day 1 update.

The joys of a new GPU, seems like driver issues. You don't use Steam big picture mode do you? As that causes stuttering in games sometimes (happens to me in Alien Isolation) also might me where you have a high hz monitor, as that was one of the things I had problems with before. Many games (bad ports) don't like anything above 60hz. Yea you really couldn't criticise how well they optimise them (Codemasters) just a shame they use bug testers from India ( apparently) instead of the UK. I just hope that F1 is 60fps on Xbox One/PS4 as racing games need to be 60fps. Saying that though, Horizon 2 is 30 but somehow feels it's running at 60fps. I'm not sure how but it does, might be becuase it's a rock solid 30 (of could be magic)

That music still brings chills up my spine. Spent stupid amount of hours playing Halo 1&2 with my mates. A happy time in my life as I didn't have MS, so brings back good memories :)

[Live] PC/Steam Wheel Support Update - F1 2014
Hughesy replied to Hatta's topic in General Discussion
Yes it'll work. I have it and works fine with my T500 (already did before the patch) but it also works with my TX base. You could already use all these newly supported wheels, just not in the menus ;) -
Completely agreed bud. For a console game it's what you'd expect. But the PC version just hasn't really had any major work done on it to take advantage of more powerful hardware. The graphics are very standard and the game really shouldn't be as taxing as it is. Very lazy port I'd say. Can't agree about Wolfenstein though :p I get a lot of micro stuttering from that, and even if I try to force AA through Nvidia control panel I still get jagged lines every where. Plus the textures look shabby and a bit too pixelated for me. It's a fun game, just not very well made. What I find weird, for a company that seems to barely do any bug testing, Codemasters games are ridiculously well optimised! What card were you using in Wolfenstein? That's the first I've seen of those problems, even my brother with a 670 and a AMD 955be (which is a pretty old cpu) runs it at 60fps 1080P fine. I don't have pixelated textures either. You got to remember it uses a thing called "mega textures" (which aren't really mega) but it's done sorta like a painting instead of the classic way, which is why it looks weird and not pin sharp but from an artistic point of view it's pretty good. I never said it looks awesome though but it looks just as good as Evil Within. It obviously doesn't like your PC lol most places say it's well optimised. Yea I agree on the last part, Codemasters games always run well even on old hardware, yes the graphics aren't the best but they aren't that bad either (especially the wet weather graphics)
-
@RevolvingPrawn Seems even though you can set The Evil Within to 60fps I can't get anywhere near a stable 60, no wonder they capped it to 30fps (for cinematic reasons..lol) it's just really badly optimised. The graphics aren't even that great, even on next gen consoles the framerate drops well below 30fps. I'll probably still buy it when Ive finished the rest of the demo (although I might wait for a price drop) as clearly no work has been done for the PC version. For a game like this 30fps isn't that bad but really it should be hitting 60 with such average graphics. It does use id tech 5 which explains a lot, but Wolfenstein looks just as good and runs at 60fps easily.

My whole team are youth players, the oldest is 23 after that most are 16-18. Worst rated player is 69 which is my keeper who is 16. Not bad for a championship team, but when I get in the prem it's going to be hard, I'm going to stick with it though (I play on world class) 7 of my starting 11 came from my youth squad, still trying to find money for the 16 year old striker I have on loan who is now rated 76 o:) 6ft, strong in the air and is very fast! My youth staff have 5 star ratings for both stats which helps find good talent. It's always hard to know how good they are until you promote them, but if you want to cheat make a backup save and then save again on your normal slot, then promote them. If they turn out to be crap just go back to your backup save ;)

@RevolvingPrawn Codemasters just released a small patch to add more supported wheels. Now I can just use my TX :) Bit of a pain as I had to switch between the two if I was playing Horizon 2 and then F1 o:) Not sure why they didn't support it in the first place, but still nice that they have now as I didn't think they would.

[Live] PC/Steam Wheel Support Update - F1 2014
Hughesy replied to Hatta's topic in General Discussion
Awesome! Thank you, I have a T500 but I also have the TX wheel. Glad I can just use my TX now, as it means I don't have to keep unscrewing it from my wheel stand every time I go and play my Xbox One again :) -
Lol silly Steam, says you've only played it 1.7 hours on mine.... :# The Demo includes the first three chapters, so that's pretty good. Not really loving it yet, just hiding from that fat man with a chainsaw.
-
How come you've only played it for like 1.7 hours bud? I thought you liked it, or has F1 been keeping you occupied o:)
-
Give it a go bud, I haven't been on since they've patched it, but don't expect it to help bud. When I did it through the console it just zooms the camera in even closer and you can barely see anything lol. No bud its a proper fix so that doesn't happen now ;) They didn't just patch in a setting from the console commands so people have told me. Not sure you you will get that free game as its only if you buy from Steam (I think) It's meant to be a pretty good horror game even though it came out in 2006.
-
@RevolvingPrawn Good news, there's a demo for The Evil Within :D So I can try it to see if I like it http://www.pcgamer.com/the-evil-within-gets-a-demo-owners-get-free-copy-of-call-of-cthulhu/ Btw you also get a free copy of Call of Cthulhu, pretty old game and I've never played it, but hay it's free o:)

errrrr? You'll have to forgive me I've been off this last few days and busy with DiRT stuff before that - am I right in thinking the corrupt save came after taking off the mods? Yep looks like it. I said that could do it as its not a game made for mods is it. Once he put them back in the save worked. Is that a hint that a new Dirt game is on its way? @RevolvingPrawn is always breaking stuff :p
-
It will disappear until you enabled it again. You big meanie, giving me a disagree :'( :p
-
let's just hope the black hole doesn't expand and suck the rest of us in :p Nah it only effects Aussies :p
-
Agree, to be fair though it does seem to be because of the mods he's installed ;) But it has been a problem since 2010 on both PC and and consoles.
-
That's good then bud, maybe you need to keep the mods otherwise it corrupts the save... :#

Which Yeovil players are international quality?! I don't have any players that played for them, all are young and became International quality. Some already were as I found good young players. Saying that one original player got called up, Maloney. ;) We've had a few players who've played at international level over the years, current player Joel Grant plays for Jamaica :p I could ask how any of your players play for an international level :# Quite a lot, actually :p Uhh you miss the word How? They're all shite :p Most of them aren't Championship level at the moment let alone premier league :# Our injury crisis creates that illusion :p Just ended a game with 8 men :# Excuses excuses :p

Really angry, I have 5 of my best players injured at an important time in the season. Also have two other good players away for international duty but still have to play..... Do EA not know the bloody rules? Championship teams get an international break like the prem in real life, yet they don't in Fifa15. It wasn't like this on Fifa 14...
-
Nope but then I can't be arsed to try it. Why I can't just use Kinect boggles my mind. Other games use it but EA are too lazy to implement it :(
-
It's silly because game developers won't develop games until enough people buy the consoles, and gamers won't buy them until there's enough games. The great thing about PC is that you decide if you want a game to look better or not, and you can always play your old games. I never understand why consoles don't support that. The first PS3s did but then the stopped it, and some games worked on 360. The differnce is you can make your old games look better on PC :) I do like my X1 and PS4, but they are pretty weak, especially the cpu. When the last gen came out the matched high end PCs, but the new ones are mid range at best. This is going to be the shortest console cycle I think, as other technology will pass them in a few years time.
