Agree loved my DFGT, not sure why other wheels don't have them like that. My T500rs F1 addon wheel has loads of buttons, and two analogue sticks but the standard wheel doesn't. My TX wheel doesn't have enough buttons either :( The G27 has F all on the wheel, the H shifter does but that means taking your hand off the wheel. I just love being able to adjust things on the fly in iRacing with the d-pad. Just need to get rich to get some good pedals, I can always upgrade my wheel later. Yea the FFB isn't actually that bad, it's just noisy compared to a belt driven wheel. That was my first ffb wheel and I loved it, but the pedals were crap. I bought it for GT5 prologue, and loved that you could change brake balance on the fly. Obviously you could do that in PC sims, but it was pretty cool being able to do it on a console sim :)

Looks good bud, although I love green so I'd keep the standard colour. After all I did have green coolent when I had a water loop. Just wish my stupid condition would allow me to still use it :( I miss my Gpu being totally silent and only 50c.

@RevolvingPrawn Good news for The Evil Within! I might actually pick it up now. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/evil-within-pc-patch-introduces-60-fps-cap-option-/1100-6423259/

Yes but they were huge and didn't cost the same as a full game ie Destiny expansions cost nearly the same amount as the full game but with a lot less content, also they didn't come out 5 minutes after the game was released like we get now. So many games have content held back to release as dlc, and years ago lots of devs would release expansions for free... Also EA have always milked customers.
-
Not really, I hate dlc... I remember a time when you got a full game, ahh those days were awesome! Although saying that, I hope people on Xbox get a refund considering it's been available to purchase for a while now and giving a date when it's released..... Exclusive things like that are shitty no matter what console you have. Let people play on what they want, and give them the same content.... Gaming has really gone downhill in the last 5 years.

@RevolvingPrawn Possible fix for corrupt save bud Go to your Steam installation folder (default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam) and pick out the subfolder "userdata". It will have another subfolder with a number; that is your Steam user ID. Note that if several users are running Steam on your machine, there will be multiple folders there. You need to know which ID is yours. The Steam AppID for F1 2014 is 226580. Look for the appropriate folder inside your ID folder. So, the path will be something like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<userID>\226580 You will want to back up the 226580 folder completely so you can restore it in case you experience a corrupt savegame. I simply copy the folder and name the copy 226580_b1 (backup 1) after every one session with the game. I make another copy named 226580_b2 (backup 2) after every other session. This ensures that I have two backups so in case the savegame is effed up *on exit* and I happen to make a copy of the *broken* savegame, I will still have a second (obviously older) backup. Should keep data loss to a minimum. You might want to turn off cloud sync for F1 2014 in the Steam client, but so far it hasn't hindered me from restoring backups. Oh and one word of warning: NEVER EVER exit F1 and relaunch the game *before* Steam has finished synching the savegame. If you do that you *will* break your savegame right there! (I wonder how many people experience broken savegames because of this.) You HAVE to wait for Steam to finish synching every time you exit F1 (or disable cloud sync). Hope it helps. Don't blame you bud. Sometimes mods won't corrupt saves right away so it could still be them that caused it (you already used one that messed things up :p) does suck though, it's why I tend not to install mods as I tend to use texture mods but not database one (although I used yours for s bit) For anyone who doesn't have Bioshock Infinite, you can get it on Steam for £5 which is an awesome price!

Great choice bud, same cooler as I have on my 780 and it's very quite. (This coming from someone who had custom watercooling loop and is very fussy about noise o:) )
-
Yep I have bud, but not had a corrupt save. Did have corrupt saves in F1 12 & 13 though. I'd guess that it's all the mods you try mate :( Have you deleted the save yet? There were a few workarounds for the older games but I can't for the life of me remember what they were.... Think one of them was to press enter on keyboard instead of using your wheel but Im not sure, try searching online.

I don't know but it sounds 'cool' :p -
Or nobody cares :p

Seriously? What have they got then, Renault? That is appaling. Yep it was found in the database, piss poor really and I really hope they sort it out for console players as they can't change it. You'd think the makers of the offical game would know what engine each team has lol. Mistakes get made, but I'm not sure how they missed that. I talked about it already in this thread but you guys must've missed it. I kinda made the crazy people in GD freak out when I wrote about it :#

I got a warning from my board after losing a game in the Championship, I'm 2nd in the league with Yeovil....lol Silly board! Won't sack Gary Johnson in real life even though we are 2nd from bottom in League1, yet in the game they want to sack me for being 2nd in the Championship. Fifa is silly sometimes :#
-
Got all excited for the FA cup draw, then get Crawley Town... Any team above Sunday League level will beat us at the moment :'(

Thank you. I just go on my experience, if I had a lawsuit for everything I did wrong at my workplace I'd be in jail o:) Everyone makes mistakes, after all we're only human. I'm sure a patch will come, what Hatta (probably) meant was that he hasn't had confirmation of a patch hence saying potential. He can't say anything else as that would be misinformation. I'm sure there'll be a patch, people just need a little patience. If people don't like that then never buy a game when it's just been released, as every game needs them. Bugs will always be found as they aren't going to hire a few hundred thousand people just to test. When you have so many people buying games these days bugs will always be found that weren't picked up on when developing it ;)

There are a few things, like the Williams having a Renault engine instead of a Merc, and the AI are far foo fast in the wet(Codemasters have acknowledged this) Also apparently the pad users are most upset about something. I'm not sure how it's "unplayable" though lol. I wrote a response to him so I'm just waiting for a load of abuse to come my way. o:) instead of getting angry I just laugh when I get abusive posts now, as I really couldn't care less what a kid calls me B) I agree the Williams needs correcting given they do use merc engines now and the same with probable wet pace although tbh I've not had problems wet or dry really although I've only had a couple of wet races so far. I can't speak about pad but the game plays just fine on keyboard. Tbh though I don't think this game needs any moer than 1 patch to fix those things you mentioned and the AI being fast in the wet could be left alone as on the easy levels it's not bothering me too much. The reason you think it's ok bud is because keyboard uses the same hidden traction assist as a controller. In the wet using a pad is over a second quicker than a wheel. Steve Hood has already said its not right. Also when using the easier difficalty they have the AI set to go slow so that people that already aren't that quick don't suffer in the wet. Put it this way, in the dry I'm at the same pace as Hamilton but in the wet I'm upto 3 seconds slower than him per lap. I'm only slightly faster than Lotus in the wet (using the Mercedes) If I set my wheel to (override to controller) I suddenly have a massive amount of traction. I love driving in the wet, but the AI have a stupid amount of traction.

You know what, it's just plain ridiculous to come up with an answer like this. POTENTIAL patch??? Seriously? There HAS to be a patch! The game is unplayable, balance wise. The least you should have come up with was a "there WILL BE a patch, we just don't have an ETA". It sound like you guys are sitting in your offices drinking coffe and considering wheter its viable to patch the game or not. This is unacceptable. We paid a fair amount of money for this game. It's a matter of consumer rights. Eligible for a lawsuit if you ask me. Be professional and give us a decent answer. On what legal grounds? I'd suggest go outside, take a deep breath and calm down, remembering it's just a game and there's a lot worse things in life than a game not working as you'd like it to. Does the game need a patch? Yes it does, does it need an outburst like that? No it doesn't. No wonder devs don't post here anymore, as if people can't post in a mature manner they won't bother responding.

@RevolvingPrawn There really are some hysterical kids in the GD section, it just makes me laugh. Someone responds to Hatta.... That's because the AI sucks at fuel management, and many times are on fuel saving mode at the end of a race. I also suck at fuel management and find myself in fuel saving mode a lot, so that has nothing to do with it. This is the first time it feels equal to me. Alonso has (many times) stuck with me when chasing down P1. People are too quick to say it's a bug, and couldn't possibly be the way they're driving. ;) -
Haha I remember it, seen mine and was like "I need to tidy my cables up" now you're ocd lol :p Two fans in my case just broke at the same time lol. One was from my old Noctua cooler at the top of my case, and another which was at the bottom (Can't remember the make) both sound like a bearing problem. Still now that I've unplugged them both my PC is really silent, like the power brick on my X1 makes more noise lol. Got to buy some more DS fans soon. Going to stick with this case as it fits so many fans o:) I'd love to buy another 4, one at the bottom and three at the top but Im not sure I need that many really. I'll probably buy another two and see how performance vs noise is. Anyone reading this, you should buy these fans! There are different colours and in 120mm &140mm size. http://www.scan.co.uk/products/140mm-aerocool-dead-silence-red-led-fan-dual-material-colour-fdb-fan-108dba

Completely agreed, all good on the temps :) Still can't figure out why the shroud wouldn't come off earlier. Looking at pics online I got all the screws off that I needed to, but of course no bloody site describes or shows how to get it off without removing the entire heatsink. Maybe that's because you need to remove it? I don't know as I don't have the reference cooler.
-
Absolutely fine bud, although the temps that really matter are ingame temps. Looking at that though they will be fine when gaming ;)

Funny how I can catch the AI at the end of a race if they don't get tyre wear.... Stop spinning your rear tyres and using a silly setup.
