With no warning from Corsair, my replacement CPU cooler arrived. Not just that, it's an upgraded version so even better performance. CPU temps in MEA are low now, so happy :D

You see, PC Gamers are intelligent (yea except from being in prison) http://www.pcgamer.com/prison-inmates-built-built-custom-pcs-fand-hid-them-in-ceiling/

Glad you've finally watched it, sorry I was no help whatsoever :joy: It looks like the field is very close and competitive, so it should be a great season :)

I'm so happy the 14 year exclusive Porsche contract with EA is over :D No idea what they were thinking signing that contract. https://twitter.com/ForzaMotorsport/status/852224073149149184

It's so much worse when you get that close. Mind you if I won that much money, I'd probably get over excited, have a heart attack and die :joy:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Bye bye Marquez
-
Just realised I was 2 correct scores from winning 250k on Super six :s I'll never get that close again.

I just bought Spelunky for £1.79 from GOG, what an addictive little game. It's like Mario, but with permadeath and unlimited levels. I know it's old, but its the first time I've played it.
-
Honestly if it wasn't for this game I probably would have driven my self mad after someone tried to sue me for £2000. Gaming is the best legal escapism in the world.

Yea I can understand why slower pace combat would suit you better. :) I love the faster pace, plus firing the guns feel so much nicer, each weapon feels different. I was never one to use all the powers, so that's OK for me. Having 3 makes it a lot more tactical, before you felt like an over powered super hero. Just had a hilarious bug. I died whist in a vault, but the game didn't end, I could still move the camera and shoot. So I had to reload the game lol

ME2 was great, but I just feel MEA is better. There's just so much more to do. The gun mechanics are just so much better, so firefights are a lot more fun. Then with the jetpack thrown in where you can float in the air and shoot just ads another level. The planets are interesting to explore, something the previous games didn't have I feel. Some of the characters are dull, but that really doesn't bother me. I'm a lone wolf, so I don't care :joy:

It's hilarious that before I got the game I was hating on it, you guys were saying it's amazing, now not so (except Dave) Yet now I have it I feel it's the best Mass Effect game overall, funny old world :joy: The game reminds me of the film Prometheus, and I loved that film.

Yea the animations have improved a lot, mostly the eyes, they don't look like they've been sniffing the white stuff lol. I'm so happy I can play it again.

Got my spare cooler fitted, it's performing pretty well at stock clocks. It's the smallest CPU cooler I have had in like 10 years, but it's doing the job and is OK until I get my Corsair H110i GT back. At least I can play MEA while I wait :D
-
I only had it crash once near the start of the game, but I obviously know that means nothing as everyone has a different system. Hopefully that improves for you. Sent my Corsair H110i GT to be replaced. I also remembered I bought a cheap spare air cooler, Cooler Master 212X. I hurt my shoulder today so I'll fit it tomorrow. I'll have to set my CPU back to stock clocks, but that's fine until Corsair send my replacement, at least I can play MEA while I wait :)

The whole game will be fixed by the time Corsair replace my cooler :joy: I actually think looking back the pump has been going for a while, then MEA fully exposed it and then it completely went. Still it gives me time to complete Zelda BOTW while I went, then I can focus on MEA. I could have got the replacement a lot quicker, as Corsair can send it before you send the broken one back. But that puts a temporary charge of £100 on my card until they receive the old one. I simply couldn't afford it though, had a lot of expenses lately with my tooth, my eyes and my dog lol.
-
Fucking pump inside my CPU cooler has failed, so I have an even longer wait until I can play MEA again :(
-
Yea I watched it live on ITV, no idea if they upload all the races or just highlights. They aren't the greatest at online content. :#

I do feel silly riding the hate train now, because honestly it's everything I hoped it would be, the awesome parts more than make up for the rough areas. Also I have fixed my extremely high CPU temps, I changed the framebuffer format to the uncompressed settings, and while loading temps have dropped by 10c and usage doesn't max out. So my main issue is fixed now :D Edit: The issue is back, so now I have no idea why it was fine, maybe it depends where the game is loading, I'm on the Nexus at the moment. EDIT 2: temps went extremely high all of a sudden, so I went and changed the thermal paste. But I could only find paste that was old, and it made it a whole lot worse, big fail :joy: So I've ordered some new stuff, but won't get it until tomorrow, so no MEA until then :(

So last night due to pain I couldn't sleep, so I played MEA until 3am even though it was hard to concentrate. Once I finally got to sleep, I only slept for 2 hours :astonished: Still what a game it is, it managed to pull me in even whilst in a lot of pain :D
-
The glyphs are easy once you realise what to do. I won't say what incase it's classed as a spoiler, as I know people get sensitive about that sort of thing :D I want to play more now I've finished watching BTCC, but I'm in quite a bit of pain today, I struggle to concentrate on what's going on.

It's only really the humans that can look a bit weird, the rest look awesome. The game lacks some polish, but on the whole it's a great game. Videos and reviews focused too much on issues, rather than the positives. The only issue I have is its cooking my 6700k even though it's liquid cooled. When loading it goes as high as 73c, then settles down to 60-65c. Even stress tests don't heat my CPU this high, so no idea what's going on. Searched online and it seems to happen to others with different CPU's. It's still within a safe limit for me, but it's very odd.

I wish F1 had a huge grid like this, certainly spices things up.

Here we go! :D Lol the madness started after just two seconds, I love this series. What was Neal doing.

That's because it's not part of the other games, hence it's not called Mass Effect 4. It still feels like Mass Effect to me, but a new beginning, which is exactly what they were going for. Some of it is a little rough, but it's such a big game I can forgive those bits.
