Finally getting rid of my Corsair 780T case as it's doing my head in. Spending £300 getting this case along with extra RGB fans for my watercooling. The setup will look similar to this except I don't have RGB ram. When I upgrade my CPU and motherboard, that will be when I get new ram. Had my 780T case since 2014, I loved it at first, but now I don't really like the style and the rear door wont close completely no matter how I do the cable management.

Decided to buy Monster Hunter World on PC. I have it on Xbox One X but even that struggles. I would have been happy with a 1080p 60fps mode but that isn't a option. On PC I should get 120fps+

Well after being 2-0 up against Northampton and being outside the relegation zone, we drew 2-2 and are relegated with a game to spare. I'm gutted, I hate football right now. From the second tier in English football, to non league in the space of like 6 years....

Yes it's a different OS, Win7 vs Win10. API is a totally different thing, developers have to use a said api, most choose DX11 still, some allow for both but Mass Effect only uses DX11. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application_programming_interface

Just started playing Doom again. Nightmare graphics settings and getting a solid 200fps, It's insane the difference it makes even compared to 60fps. I wish more games were as well optimised as Doom, especially when using Vulcan API. I also wish devs would stop using DX11 and 12, as they suck compared to Vulcan, Microsoft did a terrible job with DX12.

You don't have a PS4 do you? lol so of course it wouldn't interest you. @Lukedfrt I'm going to wait for reviews, maybe get it when it's cheaper.

Just bought a M2 1TB SSD. I don't really have room for a fourth SSD and so a M2 is the better option, plus it was only £112. Going SSD only years ago was great, but back then games were like 15GB max, now they can be 100GB lol. Also bought Sakiro, what a great game. Playing it on my 4K HDR TV as the game only supports 60fps unless you mod it, but that didnt work well for me. So playing it at max setting at 4k and getting 60fps, looks amazing.

Bank holiday is great and all, but I was late ordering some medication as I forgot about bank holiday. Three of which I'm not meant to just stop taking, but that's exactly what I've had to do so I feel awesome today

Spent 5 hours in F1 with @RevolvingPrawn last night. Only 1 track was I dominant, the French GP. It's funny as he chose the track and I said I was going to suck, but my setup was just pure gold. I've never had a car in F1 just feel so balanced and planted. Didnt get to sleep until 2am and then my dogs woke me up at 7am wanting their breakfast. No idea why the site has rotated the image but whatever lol.

I know, I know, triple post but nobody visits here anymore so I'm basically talking to myself. This is the first time I've tried recording VR. Didn't know this at the time, but it basically records the view just from the left lens/my left eyes perspective which is why it's off centre. Not great driving, but it's been a while and I feel like **** today. Had to compress this a lot so the quality is terrible as Codemasters are stingy and only allow 48mb videos. Well we lost, 2 of our last 4 games are against teams pushing for promotion. Need a performance like Spurs the other night but sadly there doesnt seem to be much fight in the squad. Ironically our major downfall was drawing Man United in the FA Cup in 2018, people were on the verge of buying the club, but after we got United the owners shot the asking price up, so it didn't happen.

Crucial day for Yeovil, lose and we will probably be relegated out of the football league. It's painful, as a kid we were non league and I watched them rise all the way to the second tier of English football. Years of mismanagement have led to this. This season the manager should have been sacked, instead they gave him a new 2 year contract. Then some buyers came to take over the club, but refused to until the manager was sacked, as they didn't want to pay off his contract as it wasn't their mistake. Supposedly the take over isn't based on if we stay in the football league or not. I can only hope that if we do go down the club is in a better state, even when we got to the championship the club was run like a non league club.

Already cracked a beer open and been sat outside with my dogs. First truly hot day since Teddy came along and he loves to sunbathe lol.

I'm angry that I missed the game, seen the highlights though and wow you guys are lucky VAR is a thing. I hate VAR, I like decisions to not be 100% correct as it gives us fans stuff to talk and moan about, but it was the correct decision. I had City to get to the final, but wow Spurs are shining in the champions league and did it without Kane.

Wait, I just realised its a bank holiday weekend, so I don't even go back to work until Tuesday. This week off has definitely helped my stress levels though, so that's good.

I did it, finally got that first win since switching to PC and mouse & keyboard. It's crazy as it was probably the worst start to the game I've had. On landing I got into a fight but only had a grey pistol. He got me down to 10hp but I managed to get away. Right until the end I had no health but found a drop and suddenly I was looking good. Seems not having MSI Afterburner running whilst playing F1 18 has stopped the issue I had. This is the first Codemasters F1 game that has had good wheel FFB. Normally it feels disconnected and numb, but now it feels a lot more planted. Still not on Pcars 2 level, but a big step up from the previous games.

Weird stuff and things going on with the moon tonight. I've seen halos around the moon before but they are normally around the edge of it, this halo is really far out and big.

Seems a lot of people have it. With MSI Afterburner running it seems like the game sends the GPU into power as s mode, as the voltage plummets all of a sudden which causes the lock ups. I've now disabled afterburner even though I like to see how my system is running as sometimes games dont like it. Other than that though I'm loving it. Even though I've gone from playing it at 4k with HDR on Xbox to 1080p on PC it still looks better. Obviously the high frame rate helps but the graphical quality maxed out is awesome. I'm struggling a bit playing it today, I was up until 2am last night playing it and using a FFB wheel kills me. My body isnt cut out of physical activities but I suck using a controller no matter how much I practice. Edit: Did a whole practice session without the game hanging, can't say for certain that I've fixed it, but can't test further as I'm in too much pain to use my wheel right now.

I have some pretty serious problems with F1 18 on PC. Frame rate is great, over 120fps most of the time, but every now and then the screen locks up for a split second which then makes me crash. I've tried all sorts to fix it but nothing works, starting to really do my head in...

Just bought F1 2018 for PC even though I already have it on Xbox. Just wanted to use my wheel, even though I've spent like 100 hours playing it on Xbox with a controller, my very first lap using my wheel I was over 2 seconds a lap faster, just shows how much I struggle using a controller compared to a wheel.
