I'd politely suggest your psychology book is wrong. Sky high blood pressure, lack of sleep and even things like alopecia are all caused by stress. Like pain it's all in the mind, but the problem with that is your pain receptors are linked to your brain. @DiRTFanNo.1 That's horrible. Well if you do make it there then that's some true dedication. Brain cancer is horrible, growing up my friends sister had it. They removed it and thought she was clear, only for it to come back a year later and it killed her at the age of 21. Trying to pick him up off the floor was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.

Turns out my 6700k is bottlenecking the GPU quite badly which seems crazy. In Fallout 4 VR GPU usage is quite low but its locks to 45fps which isnr good in VR, only got it to 90fps like it should be by lowering internal resolution to 40%. Normal Fallout 4 was badly optimised so this isn't a surprise, but still the CPU bottlenecks the 2070 in other games. Feels weird being a proper PC gamer again and even using a desk, I haven't used a desk for my PC isnt over 7 years lol. I haven't seen anyone talk about F1 2019, sounds awesome with F2 being included. I bet we still dont get VR support though. I'm probably getting it for PC as I want to play it at over 120fps. Plus I'll be able to use my wheel.

Just got Fallout 4 VR edition for £8, insane price compared to Steam. I loved Skyrim VR so hopefully this is good.

Playing Fortnite competitive arena mode wasn't a good idea. After I did this and came second yet again I put a hole through my printer, I thought I had redeploy lol. Taking some time off due to stress. I dont think I've really dealt with the death of my mum as I had so much to do to make sure my dad was ok. It's also why I've bought so much stuff lately as it helps me forget.

I know this is a triple post but I'm too lazy to edit lol. Turns out I did get lucky with this non binned chip. It shouldn't be a good over overclocker, but it is. Normal boost clock is around 1600mhz, but it does go higher. Thing is I wanted to see what it could do, so far I have the core clocked at 2000mhz. I've also OC the memory by a lot but I cant remember the number.

Metro Exodus with ray tracing enabled is amazing. Even though it's quite demanding with it on, it's well worth it.

Well this is annoying, I can't use the ray tracing in Metro atm. It needs the latest windows update, downloading now but its taking ages. Weird how it's set to auto update, yet wasn't on the latest windows version. But from what I've tested going from a 980 to 2070rtx is a big upgrade, plus I can use Gsync with my freesync monitor. What is surprising is the heatsink is thicker than my 980 even though the power draw is less. Tonight I'll use VR and see how much better Pcars2 is. I'm also going to see how far I can push a overclock. Unlike the GPU's I normally get, it isn't a binned chip so unless I have the silicone lottery I won't get much out of it. I didn't know this but the MSI logo is actually RGB, so although it isn't the top tier card, it still has a bit of bling. Well this is new for me, my i7 6700k is a bottleneck for this GPU. So with Vsync off my GPU isn't maxed in all games. I'm still getting crazy good framerates. Getting a new CPU is a pain in the arse as I'll have to get a new motherboard. So that won't happen for a long time, I might actually move to AMD as they are finally making decent CPU's.

Cool, I really hope it comes within the next few hours as the wait is killing me. My credit card bill isnt so great, but we only live once lol. Its going to be so nice to play Pcars2 in VR and not having to use low settings. Edit: It's here. Time to flex its muscles

Screw it, it was doing my head in constantly looking at a 2070rtx, because I couldn't get it out my head. So I've bought the one I linked. My 980 does struggle in some VR games, so it was needed really. Plus my 240hz monitor is freesync, but is compatible with Gsync but only with these GPU's, so that's another bonus. In most games I'll get double the framerate compared to my GPU, so 60fps would be 120fps. This gen is overpriced, but there was no other choice as AMD are rubbish. Anyway, it arrives tomorrow which is cool. Probably sell my 980 on Ebay or something. Now I dont want to play any demanding games like Metro Exodus until I get this GPU tomorrow.

But again the price increase is insane. They now jazz them up with RGB lighting to make them look special, But I can barely see into my PC where it currently is. I loved making my PC look cool, but right now I'm not that bothered, partly because I've grown to hate my Corsair 780T case.

Nearly went ahead and bought a 2070RTX GPU today but pulled out at the last second. I'm going to need to upgrade at some point, not only for the 240hz screen, but also for my VR headset. In demanding games like Pcars2 I have to turn everything down as it is. No idea how demanding NMS will be in VR, but playing normally it can be pretty demanding.

Just bought Metro Exodus on PC, won't be playing tonight though as its a 50GB dl. So although I said Xbox One X would still be my main gaming platform, playing at framerates between 90 and 240fps is so good, it's hard to play games at 30fps. With my GPU I'll need to turn some settings down to hit a high frame rate, but that's no bother. Really want a new GPU, 2070rtx is so tempting, so tempting, but the price is insane for what is classed as a mid tier GPU.

When you setup Windows 10 you have to use your email so the account for the Windows store is setup no matter what. Just make sure you use the same one as you do on Xbox.

Fair enough, but it’s not like Steam hasn’t had breaches in security. You could just contact them and get the account deleted, then you won’t get emails about it.

Do you have two factor security setup? If not then you should have. Also people tend to use easy passwords as they are easy to type, Epic is no less secure than Steam. Personally I think people are being man childs if they will only buy a game if it's on Steam. Once you're in a game it really doesnt change a thing which store it uses.

Couldn't care less if it's on Steam or not tbh. I'm a adult, not a man child like the vocal people who are like if it's not on Steam I'm not buying it.

You're stalking me We also get a free update for the first Borderlands on PC soon. Borderlands 2 is the best in the series. Playing it on my 240hz monitor is insane, but I have one issue. No Vsync, totally uncapped framerate, yet its not maxing my GPU usage and it only sits at 120fps. That's still ok, but nowhere near what it could be.

Pretty sure it's the switch and a bad frame rate. I got wins on it last night but my eyes were hurting. Also if you see my angry tweet last night you'll know how much I hate the changes. Got my new monitor now, playing Fortnite at 240fps is amazing.
