No it works perfectly except the name of Zandvoort and Hanoi is unknown but data is ok. A new version is coming with 2 new features : share and export.

In lap and out lap management for AI simply does not exist. CM should implement a management of this for AI. The way it is is not realistic at all. They come from the pits and directly want to compete against you. They block you, if you brake, you provoke a yellow flag and they slow down. When preparing for a time lap they don’t let the car in front of them go and take some advance. I know this is not so easy to implement but it would be a nice addition.

I use SRT Telemetry Software on my iPad (easy to analyse when back in garage). It is very complete and simple, compatible with F1 2020 with 2019 stream. 2 drawbacks: you cannot see telemetry from other drivers and it is not free. A free software you can use is PXG Telemetry.

The problem with the Paul Ricard is that you have so much runoff zones painted and with no braking point in the long straight (Ligne droite du Mistral) and so many chicane that it’s very difficult to drive.

I’m convinced like you and most people that the SC feature is broken for many years. They fixed it after some patches in F1 2019 but it’s inconsistent again like it was previous years. Such a shame that this great game has such an important feature broken. It’s not a question of liberty of expression. He just is wrong when he says that the bug is there from patch 1.07 (it’s there for a long time) and this is not the only one (collisions under SC, backmarkers unable to unlap the SC, problem with restart, ...) but as I said we can continue moaning here or ... make things changed by posting dozen of videos proving SC is broken. This is the only way, believe me. I think everybody would like to have a SC working no?

The SC is buggy because either you have a SC automatically after every single mechanical failure, or you have no SC at all. This exist since the beginning of the F1 2020 game (even longer) and has nothing to do with a patch. You were « lucky » to have SC before (people crying to have one) and now this is the contrary. It’s kind of rolling the dice. Those experiencing SC can make a flashback for the first mechanical failure and the SC won’t come out and for the second mechanical failure (should happen as a script on every race), even making a flashback won’t help. I’m in the situation of not having seen any SC for mechanical failure since day one patch. Welcome aboard. if this post continue, nothing will change since CM won’t even read it. The only way (once again to make it clear for everyone) is posting a video for mechanical failures that require in your opinion a SC or not. As I said earlier, the title of this post is wrong. Patch 1.07 has nothing to do with the SC inconstancy (just bad luck for those affected). And this post has nothing to do in this section. If you encounter an issue with SC, please post on the bug section by fulfilling the bug report form and don’t forget to post a screenshot or better a video of the evidence. Discussing here won’t help and the problem will not be fixed like that. I agree with you, the SC feature is buggy for years now, this is not new but please do the necessary to fix this. It’s a real game breaker.

Completely false. Posts are deleted if you don’t respect the official bug report form and in case of SC a video is at least useful to analyze the circumstances. Posting a video proves there is a problem.

Patch 1.07 has nothing to do with the SC inconstancy (either out on each mechanical failure, or never out). If you find a SC is needed or no SC was needed and it came out, would you please post a video with the official bug report in the bug section so that CM is aware of this and investigate and solve this issue. It would be good to post with the report a screenshot with the result screen and the tyre sets.

I must be mad but I prepare a race a lot, viewing videos on Internet and noting gears and braking points from real drivers to compare during practice sessions, full practice since I race 100% (so much more for strategy and tyres). I would say that I’m driving around 20 laps per practice session. I also spent time with telemetry to compare my laps with different setups, tyres, fuel, ... I think this aspect is really fun and helps you a lot when the race comes regarding strategy. This is maybe why I don’t find it boring but interesting. Ok, sometimes you lose all your efforts by making a mistake during the race. You maybe cannot feel the sensation of a real driver in a real F1 but when something like this happens, believe me you certainly feel the same.

Don’t give up because this was the cause I would not drive without TC. Last year I had so horrible start losing 5 to 6 places and driving in the wet was impossible. In F1 2020 I manage to do good start (not losing places) and wet weather is fine too.

Perfectly sound. I also made the jump this year (not easy in the beginning) but so rewarding driving without assist. I think I’m quicker than last year. I mainly play offline career. What do you think of setting the throttle linearity to 25 or even 50? It seems to help.

I use this radio button all the time with no display except MFD. I need to ask Jeff the gap with the driver in front or behind. Very realistic.

Have you registered it on video to post an official bug? This is the only hope of having this solved.

I write this on another topic since something strange happens to my career. So far, although there were 1 or 2 DNF for mechanical failures on every GP, I did not get any SC so far in 30 races. I have evidence that at least 7 to 8 cases require a SC (or at least VSC) because retired cars were stopped on a dangerous spot on track (corner exit, gravel, ...). We all know that the SC either comes too often or never. Every time I saw the AI car stopped somewhere. Trying to solve an audio problem in garage on my PS4 (nothing to do with SC) with some commentaries, someone suggested that I set my PS4 in English to run the game in English. Well this does not solve the problem BUT ... My first SC came out for a mechanical failure, believe it or not. it was Sainz on lap 27 on Brazilian GP (100% race distance). I received a message saying Sainz was out of the race and right after the SC was out! Coincidence ? What surprised me is that I did not see Sainz car somewhere near the track. I will see next GPs if this happens again but I would like to let you know that maybe by changing the game language, ... just an idea. Or this is purely coincidence but after 30 races, I should have seen at least 1 VSC or SC.

No, all parts in departments on concerned by the regulations changes are still valid. You pay half the price to adapt them for next season otherwise they are lost. There is no reason for your car to be slower, except setup, ... My advice would be to adapt your parts before buying new ones and not upgrading new parts in those departments since they will cost you 150% of the price.

Are you speaking about lap times during qualifications or during the race? For Barcelona in qualifications you have a difference of 1 to 2 seconds to real pole.
