    Research & Development vids

The official Motor Trend Channel on YouTube has a TV-like-series called "Dirt Every Day" [32 videos ; ~6 hours] which covers new 4x4 tests, aftermarket off road upgrades, wacky 4-wheel shoot outs and dirt road trips. They also have trophy truck replays from "TORC: The Off Road Championship" [17 videos ; ~38 hours] (though I preferred it when DiRT 2 mixed buggy's with trophy trucks)
  2. (as per title) Can't buy the game on either Xbox's Marketplace (360 ver.) or the PlaySation Store (PS3 ver). Any plans to bring it back [digitally]?

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

Autosport was really just a reshuffled version of Grid 2 with blurred cockpits. You'd be best to use Grid 2's announcement timeline (announced Aug 2012 & released May 2013)... unless you want DiRT 3: Autosport with blurred cockpits.

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

They just don't want to get drowned out by all the AAA games; DiRT 2 (highest selling?) was announced November 19th 2008 (announced after CoD)... it's just this year there's more AAA games releasing till the 24th so I agree with @gfRally's candybar countdown theory, especially convincing it ends on Dec 4th. DiRT Showdown was announced in December (the 13th to be exact).

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

If IGN see this again, I bet that they will write something! :P DiRT 3 was announced in September so anythings possible lol It was announced back in July 30th 2010. DiRT 2 was announced in November 19th 2008 so they might just wait till after all the holiday AAA games release. I think DiRT 2 sold the most of any single entry so they might just want to repeat their marketing playbook from DiRT 2 for DiRT 4.

Joker laps for Rallycross. A shortcut that you can only use once per race (at your discretion).

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

The IGN editor is from London, UK... so maybe he knows more since these were some of the more "tame" tweets (imo). (either embargo for upcoming press event or a friend in Codemasters) /tinfoilhat

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

Yes, everyone's getting antsy for the announcement. (CG trailer taking longer than normal over at RealTimeUK, hmmm?) 819 days since the DiRT: Showdown which was arguably not a "mainline" DiRT game and so 1,187 days since DiRT 3.

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

I would want an Xbox 360 version for DiRT 4. Just make next-gen versions 60fps/1080p.
  17. It was NEVER available. It was a disc only title and never on the consoles digital stores. Wrong. http://xbldb.com/offers/003-3e8 So can Codies comment on this? I can't find any news article on Google even saying what month DiRT 2 was delisted exactly. :/

QOTW: Which is the best DiRT game?

DiRT 2 Liked all the tracks (unlike in its sequels). Especially "Ensenada Sprint" from Baja California (favorite track from any racing game). And most importantly, no Gymkhana taking up valuable disc space from landrush, rallycross, and rally maps. Still so beautiful. Outstanding audio mixing. And great taste in music. good job!

    "Next" DiRT game wishlist!

Updated: August 19 1. C.O.C.K.P.I.T.S. Codemasters are the masters of visceral cockpit effects (best windshield wipers award hands-down!). I'd notice dynamic window cracks. 2. 30% 'Landrush', 30% 'Rallycross', 30% 'Rally', 10% other (see #4).  Please please bring back "Ensenada Sprint" from Baja California (circa DiRT 2) - my favorite track from any racing game ever. I'd love to see a  "clear" and "rain" variant for every track in DiRT 4 (I would not miss snow).Baja California, Ensenada Sprint (DiRT 2) 3. Dirtbikes? ATVs? ... Dakar? 4. 'Knockout' (circa DiRT Showdown). Just need 1 map for the arena. Don't need boost or health meters (just award 1 point for every car you push over the edge). Fun for multiplayer. And just use this knockout map for laying foam bricks for 'Smash Hunter' (circa DiRT Showdown). Very therapeutic mode to play alone. DiRT 2 is my favorite (Baja California (!), all the tracks were good, festival presentation). DiRT 3 had too much Gymkhana and not enough Landursh love. Gymkhana was tolerable in Showdown, but still not a fan of it, and really just hated the original race tracks created in Showdown (so flat and the metal ramps just felt so cheap). I can always count on DiRT's inflatable-wavy-man to cheer me up on those off days. Thanks.
