Expect both Matt (or is it Pete? :p ) and Dan to use "Come on Lewis" as their signature from now on. -

Αrgh, I hate driving that final sector with these tight corners!fIsince08 said:I know I've argued this for the past two years but for racing I think Fuji is the better circuit.

I'm afraid to ask what happens when you get the first sector spot on...GoldenColt said:
How can you not like the first sector? I get wet eyes everytime I approach the first one of the esses. Sometimes I cry a little inside when I get them wrong.RevolvingPrawn said:but I can't stand driving the first sector on any game. -
You suck then, because it's awesome :pRevolvingPrawn said:
I love watching races at Suzuka, but I can't stand driving the first sector on any game.GoldenColt said:There was always one DRS-zone at Suzuka.
What a circuit. And probably one of the few things our Seb, Seb Vettel and I have in common: We all love this circuit. -

So, it's time for another race (McLaren's 2nd home race from 2015) in a historic circuit (and we have to wake up early for this one, which is something I always like!)
There is a typhoon in the area which could bring some rain for the weekend. Regarding the championship battle, will Hamilton have a problem-free weekend at Suzuka for the first time ever?
Also, are there going to be any announcements regarding Honda/Button/Alonso/someone else?
Discuss. -
Happy birthday Rohan! -
@AMS97KRR any update on the league?
-
There's a website that shows the races here as well :p -
ok ok, enough :p -
I'd say Plato caused the Race 3 accident.RevolvingPrawn said:@mike96 Yea I'll give you that one :p
@alonsofan46 No hate for Plato from me, but I wouldn't call myself a fan either ;) -

It's fixed, F1 2007 all over again!!RevolvingPrawn said:I dunno, I kinda like the way the riders aren't told :p That way they're all in the same boat, and they have to think for themselves.
What I don't get is Marquez went down with 4 laps remaining, but didn't pit until 2 laps remaining, so he did nearly another 2 laps on dry tyres... Just doesn't make sense to me why he'd do that.
:p -
Wrong BMW though.RevolvingPrawn said:Well that's one less BMW ;) Big smash and rollover for Collard.
Also, any news on Collard? -
I see your point, but I believe they should tell them to pit after that group of riders pitted (the ones before Lorenzo). It was a mistake they didn't do it then but yeah, it was strange to see them lapping so slow and losing more than 5 seconds per lap to the others and staying in for another lap and another and another! :p I guess they were "fooled" because there was only 3 or 4 laps till the end I think. -
Plato is worse :pRevolvingPrawn said:LOL all you want @mike96 :p It is a bit frustrating though when if there's a BMW in the top 3 you know he'll be leading into T1. And imo Turkington is a dirty cheat with a personality as bright as a black hole. He's so dull!
And btw what a crash! -
The bikes were out because they were getting warmed up. Also, in these situations they do tell them when to pit. because they can see what everybody else does with the pit-stops while the riders don't know. -
Το be honest I didn't see any BOX pit boards...RevolvingPrawn said:They didn't screw either rider Mike. It's up to the rider to choose when to pit, the team don't tell them. No team on the entire wall tells their rider when to pit. Marquez and Pedrosa screwed themselves, Honda had no hand in it. Did you not see the mechanics getting frustrated when Marquez kept shooting by? They wanted him in, he chose not to. -
Honda should tell them to pit when they saw the others pitting but they didn't and they screwed both riders. -
The thing is, they didn't know what Lorenzo and the others did because there's no radio in MotoGP.. Anyway, the funny thing is Marquez still managed to extend his championship lead and potentially win the championship in the next race :pRevolvingPrawn said:@mike96 It's down to the rider when to pit, not the team dude. Mistakes from both Marquez and Pedrosa, while Lorenzo pitted at the right time. -
But Pedrosa crashed as well so I'd say that was a big strategy mistake from Honda.RevolvingPrawn said:@mike96 Honda were expecting Marquez in, so I'm gonna put this downto his inexperience and probably about down to his over-confidence.
Great podium though, and a great race! This and Misano have been brilliant :D
