  1. Definite jump start to me still. Watch it at half speed and you'll see!

    Remember Alonso's jump start at Spain? When I saw that I was amazed that Charlie even picked up on it. Had Charlie been at the start of this race I'm pretty sure he would have given Turkington the pointing finger too :p
    China :P

    @RevolvingPrawn You do realise the TV lights graphic is delayed anyway, right?

    @PeteTheDuck

    I didn't find the start funny, I found it disappointing :p

    Is that your vid, Chirs? If so, I might just have found you in one of my photos! :D
    Does he look like Ted Kravitz's hidden child? If so, it's him :P

  3. I'd probably go more down the touring car route in terms of the races I think I'd keep all the other rules as they work quite well atm.

    By touring car rules I'm referring to the way the races are structured in that they have shorter races but I'd split the races into like 2 or 3 rounds per race weekend. in the second and 3rd race grids are decided by the pervious race results in reverse for example the Mercedes if they won round 1 would be at the back of the pack to start race 2 and the Caterham's and Marrussia's would be at the front. This way it would give everybody a chance to taste victory.

    Artificial racing at it's best.. How about success ballast as well? :P

    Delayed or not Chris, Turkington shot off the line before any of the other cars were even moving.
    Well I haven't seen the start properly yet, but is that not something to do with rear wheel drive?
    RWD cars do get a better getaway but Dave means Turkington started while the others didn't move at all.

  5. I'm kind of annoyed that nobody else picked up on Turkington jumping the start of race 2. He was already moving by the time the lights went out.
    I just had a look at it again, and maybe he didn't get penalised because he didn't cross the grid line before the lights turned off, like Vettel in Suzuka 2010.

    From a pretty reliable source:

    Alonso --> McLaren
    Rosberg --> Merc or RB
    Hamilton --> Merc or RB
    Vettel --> McLaren
    Hulk --> Ferrari
    Bianchi --> FI
    Jordan?  :P
    Source please.
    Monseur F1 on twitter. First to say Maldonado to Lotus and Boullier to leave Lotus/to go to McLaren.
    You didn't do the correct copy/paste then :P

  8. We had a good chance to win this at the extra time but we didn't make it and this was the first time ever we took part in a penalty shootout. I honestly didn't expect us to go through to the top 16 so I have to say our campaign wasn't unsuccessfull. On to the next one.
