f1 2019 F1 2019 - Skill Rating system broken [SG]
AlexTT replied to Patricko's topic in Technical Assistance
Oh no I don't mean you bro, I can see crystal clear you're not running assists. I mean the other one. See how he returns to the track in T3, or T4 and well, every other thing. So obvious that he's running TC and ABS. Never spins when off track. And that's what I mean with unfair advantages. -

Do me a favour, tell me where I said I have super skill? I never said such a thing, nor did I claim that. I'm even not saying that people can't play how they want. What I said is that there had to be split lobbies. 1 for non assists and 1 for assists. without assists faster? Okay, you switch of your assists, then go full throttle begin/half corner, over curbs, grass, gravel anything that's not the track. After that try getting the car in line again. You will almost instantly spin again because of tyre drops or dirty tyres. Get hit by another car, you will almost always lose control where the assist car just keeps going. Go drive without frontwing, without assist undoable! Instant lockups, understeer and all that ****, assist drivers set fastest laptimes with half their front wing gone. ANY NON ASSIST player will confirm that. And that's where the unfair advantage is in lobbies. After that switch on medium TC and ABS and do the same above, and then you'll see what I mean. Every mistake is instantly beeing fixed, you can take every risk, because the assists will take care of that. Why should i turn on assists? I learned and am still learning to drive without, because it's A) more realistic B) more satisfying C) more FUN i don't care if I win or lose, what I do care about is FAIR competition. And putting assists and non assists together isn't fair. But don't put words in my mouth what I never said or claimed, that's just pathetic. -

That's medium TC in full effect. If you did that without your assists bro, you would be spinning around. This is exactly one of the examples how CM has completely failed any form of trustworthyness about realism and all that nonsense... but I loved the way how that dirty piece of youknowwhat got a meeting with karma𤣠justice was servedš -

I have this: never seen this much gold "skilled" players in 1 single lobby. Not even 2018. Got me curious, so spectate on. And guess what, exactly what I am saying all the time, each and every single gold player has medium TC and ABS on. In this lobby the best cheater wins. People know what to do the be the best, so all assists are on. Please Codemasters, explain the meaning of SKILL level when the actual skilled people are beeing slapped in the face? This is to ridiculous to describe and you're making a complete fool of yourself! It's totally unbelievable that you call this the "most realistic" whatever, with a so called SKILL level system in which you don't give 1 single **** about the actual players that have skill! This is 1 big gigantic JOKE! This whole "most realistic" game is very realistic indeed. -

Not medium TC... I spectate quite a lot races, and when you turn on the telemetry, all I see is the throttle bar beeing pushed repeatedly full or off, and brakes full or not. Max TC is indeed slower, but medium TC not. If you see how people handle it, you'll understand. when not using assists, you see throttle nice and gradually increasing, the brake decrease from full, you know that's someone who's without assists. -

This... my skill dropped down in 2 races both because of some ******* who HIT ME from behind, spins me off, AND I GET A GODDAMN WARNING! The ones causing this ******** NOTHING! Even setting fastest laps with their half front wing. Yes very REALISTIC! This proves again and again how everything is biased towards assists and how it's allowed to ramm people off. Ram someone and HE gets penalized! It's getting to a point where I just can't take anything serious anymore. time and time again it's showed and proved that the people who try to race clean, and actually invest time to master no assists, get a big finger from CM. I'm DONE with this ********! What's the point in doing anything anymore when all you get is penalized for someone else's ramming, and how they make assists 1 to 2 seconds faster than everything else. It's all a big **** you to the people who try to get skilled and race clean because CM finds so many ways to give the cheaters and dirty drivers any advantage they can give them. and it makes me sick to my stomach! -

It depends... do you run things like TC and/or ABS? If not, 2K is almost undoable. Turning them all on would help a lot, only I don't know i getting there with all assists does feel as rewarding as without. -

Try one thing, when there are a lot of gold skilled players and you don't recognize them, go spectate, open telemetry, and when you see them full throttle midcorner or max brake where without abs you would lock up like crazy, you'll know what I'm talking about. majority (i don't say everyone) is only ridiculously fast with assists on. On Playstation it's seriously game breaking how unfair the advantages are. same with weekly event, assists will be locked, but still i get put in lobbies full with assist players as a non assist player. -

I also noticed another funny thing, no matter if the front wing is on or off, assist users are still setting a stupid pace which should be impossible... if I have the slightest damage to my wing, I lock up like crazy, here comes an assist user with half a front wing, flying past me half over curbstones and half through grass/gravel as if I'm standing still! That's just stupid! -

Let me guess: you are a non assist driver? If so, That gap between you and those so called "gold skill" drivers is assists. I saw time differences of 2 seconds at russia for instance. That's how codemasters wants it. Rewarding players who abuse assists to be quick and takes no skill and punish the ones who don't use them and actually have any sort of controll over their car without assists. -

Yep, this! And also this! You want to be the most "realistic" game? Than stop punishing the people who don't use assists, and punish the people who use TC ABS and all that ********, just like they will do in REAL life. Stop catering COMPETITIVE online to people who take the easy way to win, and start supporting the people who actually take the time and effort to get skilled. -

Just did another online one... the amount of gold "skill" players is stupid, everyone knows that to win, you need all assists on. laptimes deficit round a second a lap! For non assist users this is so demotivating to go online en try to be competitive. What's the use? When you in fact have the skill and carcontrol without assists, you'll almost never finish good because half the lobby is cheating. (Yes i call it cheating). Why? It takes ZERO skill to go fast with assists. You can go full throttle over kerbs, through gravel, against other cars wothout even beeing punished by the mistake like spinning of or losing control. And these people have a so called gold "SKILL" it ****** me off so bad that when you invest time to really get the hang of this without assists, you just get slapped in the face because there's not 1! Downside to using assists. It increases all chances to win, get more points and for what? Because you show "skill" by pressing full throttle and full brake and the rest is done for you? The system should be renamed to cheater status. The higher the status, the better the cheater. Lobbies MUST be split! Let the cheaters be together, and the people who actually have some skill be together. Then we could have some good and FAIR racing! every single person who doesn't use ABS and TC has got 1000 times more skill then any assist ABUSER. It must be a really good feeling to finish in first knowing you didn't have the actual skill but are the best at cheating in that lobby. it's disgusting! -

This! same with assists, when using more assists, it should reward you far less points then when running no assists. after all, it's a SKILL BASED points system right? Most gold rated players in lobbies are assist users. But people who try to master no assists are always in such a disadvantage in many ways that it's simply not a really fair system. When you try to get skilled without assists, it should be rewarded much more then someone who only pushes 2 buttons and does a little bit steering but doesn't get punished when going offline or whatever. The reward system for SKILL points is completely wrong way around and caters the lesser skilled players and punishes the player who actually have skill. again: if you call it a SKILL system, then reward skill, and not the other way. -
Nice! Fuel laps like on MFD!

You can adjust the saturation and sensistivity of the loadcell in the options menu so that you don't have to push that hard. How heavy is the load cell? I have a 20kg version, but I am on a Playseat F1 so that's different in that perspective. I also fixed the pedal plate so it doesn't flex. never want to go back from loadcell to standard haha
