  1. It would be nice to see a more transparent/open development phase in the future.  More and more software houses seem to be adopting the limited/open beta testing approach.  Maybe licensing restrictions prevent this.  Evolve or die.

Sorry for the delay of new information everyone. The project manager has finally allowed me to announce that regrettably, there will be no Patch for F1 2014. CM thanks you for all your support. Have a great Christmas and we'll see you in the new year with F1 2015

Also they've not said it'll be out in the Spring all they7've said is that it'll be out earlier
That's right, my guess is that it will probably be released about half way through the season.

I was just trying to give the kid hope.  His parents should save their money for a next gen console or maybe even a PC (if they want him to grow-up to be real man ;0)

  4.  I'm enjoying watching your races Ryan.  I don't have the game myself, as I was waiting for a Patch that doesn't look like it's going to materialise :(  That's a shame because, as demonstrated by you in Malaysia , the AI have too much grip in the wet, back-off too easily when along side, don't appear to suffer tyre wear and a myriad of other problems.  If a Patch took care of those things, we'd be looking at an amazing game.  Cheers mate.

  5. totally agree!! it is too much wheel spin!! for me i enjoy the speed father than real, so i turned on Traction Control at MID when i played F1 2013, but in 2014 it is just too spin that i cannot control it.... however i turn TC to FULL is too stupid.... it become never spin, can codemasters please make a change at TC MID setting?? for pro racer of cause they can turn it all off, but for those like me want a bit of speed n real, i would like the 2013 TC MID settting back!!

Aww, do you want CM to come and tuck you in and kiss you goodnight as well? Bless.

  6. This is a major issue.  Thank you for discovering this Keeno.  Clearly many are playing without realising Assists are still in effect.  That is why we're getting conflicting reports about grip levels etc.  I have heard some complain that they can't get the wheels to lock-up under braking, even in the wet.  This is obviously what's happening.

  7. None of the reviews mention that CM are charging full price for "something so closely resembling a free download from a community modding site".  Reviewers don't have to pay for the games of course.  If they'd factored that in their scores would be even lower.

PC Gamer - "Never before has Codemasters delivered something so closely resembling a free download from a community modding site."

    Yeah, what's your point?
