Right now we have been limited to making the cars as a base with liveries applied on top so there is no difference in the setup / handling between the Hansen and Albatec. Its something we may be refining in the future though. Thanks for answering @KickUp , an understandable compromise but nice to know its on the radar. :smile: Very interested to hear your comments about Petter's DS3, I have had several conversations about the setup of that car, interesting to hear that it has a lot of the paddock scratching their heads as well! During that Twitch show it was mentioned that the next rallycross pack would include one more track and three more cars. The track is obviously Hell and one of the cars is the DS3: any clues as to what the other two cars are? Munnich S3 and JRM Mini Is that a guess, or have seen a clue? Munnich S3 was mentioned when it was made clear why Ekstrom's S1couldnt be in.As for JRM Mini to have logos plastered around the game to no avail will be a little bit pointless,dont you think?

Really sorry to right the following lines but following what is going on with F1 2015 Codemasters have no choice than to go all in with Dirt Rally.Get all the staff you can onboard,do whatever you can to get out the best game you can or else there will be No next game.

So to end this I will make it a straight forward question to @justbiglee .Lee are there any plans to convert the 3 F1 tracks to RX content and add them to Dirt Rally?And if not what are the issues prohibiting the conversion to happen(i.e. licensing,technical,manpower etc)?Thanks in advance.

Why should it be licensing problems?Codies have the licensing for the series (FIA WRX) so what is the difficulty in including rounds of a licensed series.Plus two of those tracks (Hockenheim and Istanbul) have appeared in other games made from the same company (see Grid series).And Catalunya has appeared in other games (not by Codemasters).So it looks weird to me.

Why hasnt anyone thought of suggesting to add the 3 F1 tracks in RX pack?Codies already have the 3d objects for Hockenheim Istanbul and Catalunya so it will only take some AI adjustment and some dirt layers to just double RX tracks in game.Also they should not be any licensing problem.

So,just a small rumor.People from Southam are taking a ride  to Birmingham.

Which is fair enough, but saying as it's already going to be in two other games, that alone is unlikely to be the case now, especially after the RX version has gotten in. Be positive! :smile:  The road going versions of the DS3 are also quite common in other games since DiRT3 (over 4 years ago, remember!). Liveries are always a quirky thing, that's not particularly unusual, I wouldn't read a whole lot into that. Apart from licensing issues there are almost certainly legal issues in regard to things like tobacco advertising which will never be a part of any official release. Something which was very plain to see with the classic cars in F1 2013. Alcohol advertising is also the most likely reason why the Ford Focus WRC in CMR2 and 3 is missing the Martini logo despite being Colin's car and, indeed, the logo is also missing from the Williams F1 cars in F1 2014 and will almost certainly still be missing in F1 2015. Same applies for the Kingfisher logo on Force India. (Funnily enough and as an aside, the Martini logo and Martini Racing banners were completely legible in Sega Rally and Sega Rally 2, despite the low resolutions involved. More innocent times though. Sega Rally was one of, if not the, first racing games to actually have officially licensed and recognisable racing cars and liveries) Regards CMR04, Total may have been a part of that. They were the key sponsor for the Xsara and it's livery. The car lacks any Total logos and I don't recall seeing any in the game at all. Since they can claim to own "Total Blue", that can have a huge impact on a facsimile of a livery. Michelin and Magneti Marelli logos were still present though, so yeah, that was probably a complicated one. That takes us back to the fact that even recognisable car liveries in many games still tend to be missing a number of key sponsors. Two small observations. 1)Only the official WRC game will have the 2015-spec DS3.From the previews SLRE will include the 2013 car. 2)What the CMR04 Xsara was missing were Telefonica-Movistar logos(a spanish phone carrier).Weirdly they were sponsoring Ford during the previous two games and there wasnt any problem for them appearing predominably in the the cover.So we can only assume that Citroen didnt want the proper livery in CMR04.

It was well documented in the old forums that Citroen was rather quirky about licensing.For example I clearly remember that they didnt want the DS3 in DIRT 3 but only the older C4 due tothem not wanting to release specific info about their current car.You may also remember that in CMR 04 Xsara didnt have the proper 2003 livery as was the standard with all Colin McRae's cars.

Before having an agreement with Playstation,Peugeot had a deal with Xbox 360.In fact the 24h winning 908 was run in Xbox 360 stickers.Also in 2007 Enrique Ojeda raced a 207 s2000 in Irc with Xbox logos(car was included in FM3).Just to let you know.

That's an interesting subject. While they may have done some modelling for the RX cars the WRC versions have quite different internals and worse still the licence for them may belong to someone else.  For example is the current Ford Fiesta WRC licence owned by M-Sport or Ford?  In any case the RX pack is looking sweet :) I'm sure the visuals will be improved once it's released and in our hands :D  It was written a few time ago that you need to agree with both M-Sport and Ford.Nonetheless the main model is quite similar so it is easier to start from there than from scratch. 

A chance for an updated Fiesta and a DS3 WRC.Bring it on.

Nope..Only on the first one there was some kind of deal (drivers names and events).Every game from CMR2.0 onwards is not associated with FIA.

Hey,@justbiglee, would it be wonderful if you add some compatibility with modern systems for the original Colin McRae Rally and release it on Steam for a small price like 5 or 10 euros.Or even better free gift for purchasing Dirt Rally.

Anodou Farmakas ->Anavassi Farmakas (Hillclimb Farmaka) Kathodo Leontiou ->Katavassi Leontiou (Leontios Downhill) Ypsona tou Dasous ->Krypsona tou Dasous (Forest Hiding Place) And the other stages will look much better if you use a dash in between such as Abies-Koilada, Ampelonas-Ormi etc.

Just add stage kms in selection screen please.Weird stage naming here in Greece.Ypsona should be Ypsoma or the much better term Anavassi.I will check back tomorrow with all proper naming.Thanks
