I would breach the NDA if were to disclose the title of GRiDDy ShOWDOWN... Oops! Joking ! ! ! I'm really pleased to see a positive response to the F1 game announcement. It is fair to say that F1 2014 was not a good release and was not a good step forward from '13. If the 2015 turns out brilliantly, because all efforts were focused on the next-gen development then hopefully customers will go grazy in stores. Enough about F1 :)    Will you come back now @justbiglee ? People at the f1 forum want to imprison him there until June so he may not return for a long time... :p

That line feels familiar. I seem to remember something similar in a report about WRC3 or 4. Not to suggest that they are being given a line by Milestone though as it may be complete coincidence. I can see why people might think that though. We've been running in stealth mode for a while now. I agree with the above statement. And now a question for the Codies folks, what exactly is the benefit of your company operating in "stealth mode"? To fool people in to thinking the company is doing nothing?! I would suggest that Codies have to take out a leaf from Sector's 3 book(aka Simbin).For those of you that are unaware they have a game named Raceroom Experience and each month two or three guys from the company take it to Twitch and lay out their plans for upcoming content.They even say about licensing or technical problem giving reasoning to peopI e.I dont understand why Codemasters dont go out straight and say "Gentlemen we are at point A and to go to point B this and that need to happen.We have a C , D problem and we are trying to solve it or  we cant solve for the XYZ reason.This is 2015 and companies need to interact with customers.People have become impatient and it wont take long to lose faith or hope.Sorry for the long post, just wanted to lay a few things down.

Really sorry to write the following lines (as i have played cm games from the original cmr and toca era) but i can see in the air that if f1 2015 and dirt 4 dont sell as much as expected the future will be very dark for Codemasters. :'(

@justbiglee my main concern about the Sebastian Loeb Rally Evo is if their deal with the frenchman and Citroen cuts Codemasters off from who i feel should be  your flag bearer, non other than Colin Mcrae's spiritual successor Kris Meeke.Gameplay wise their game probably will be on a lower level than yours because Milestone is notoriously famous for poor environments and that doesnt look like it will be fixed.Adding to that the off car design for my personal taste(their fiesta doesnt look right and it took them 3 years to create  a realistic mini).On top of that no pc was mentioned.But lets see.Competition is for better.

Just my gut feeling but knowing that the new f1 will be out around may or june i believe that dirt 4 cant come earlier than september.

1.Very easy mode 2.Empty fuel tank 3.Slow first Ai lap. Oh jesus.That was really difficult because the game needs additions not reductions but this is what i feel can be removed and not really be missed

You know what is really weird?The CMR Remastered has a correct version of the Martini livery on 1999 Ford Focus and a few days later CM makes excuses for not using a correct livery of the same company on F1 2014.Really disappointing stuff from a company that has given a great attention to detail in earlier days.

Im sorry but i dont get it.Codies probably pays an eight figure amount of money for the license each year and then they come out and say we dont have money to add stuff?

Personally i dont think its bad that Mercedes will not be winning every race in the game.As long as we dont see some totally unrealistic results like a win  for Marussia or a podium for Caterham its fine to see a win here and there for Ferrari,RBR,Williams.

I really cant understand what the excuse for generic wheels will be.No time?Come on ,amateurs have created full steering wheels from scratch for mods outhere and codies will say that professionals couldnt make it in more time and with far more resources than ordinary modders.A major bummer for me.

Money is paid for the right to release an official product so the license fee is not sales related.Like the tv rights CM pays before the actual release of the game and i dont believe poor sales are affecting the cost of the license.

Sorry to break your dream bubble guys,but as long as CM are filling Uncle B pockets with $$$ they are free to do whatever they want with the license...Money talks louder than words
