  1. Interesting that CM improved the guys in the pit wall (1:57) but not the steering wheels. I'm not even sure though that the guys in the pit wall improvement will even be noticed in actual gameplay.
  2. Perhaps the SC's not working so well. Okay, so when I switched to car damage on and 50% race length about 4 weeks ago, I've had 3 SC deployments in the first 4 races. Since then, I've only had another 3 SC deployments in the next 19 races. I noticed that the SC deployments are always caused by AI's. However, my theory behind this is that as long as you don't upset the balance & harmony of other AI cars by doing minimal contact with them, the SC will never come out. However, if you bang with them the 1st lap of the race, they will also bang more amongst themselves and hold grudges, thus a h
  3. Yes, 2 patches this time instead of 1. It will cost CM too much money to do any more.
  4. Can it get any more arcadey than t-cam with silly car arrows??
  5. SC's working well guys. I've had 6 deployments now in 17 races(50%).
  6. Well here's your lucky day. Just click on the link below for a 3-mo free trial iRacing membership. I encourage everyone to do this if you've never tried it before. This also includes 7 free cars & 10 tracks. And although a gaming pc is recommended, even a regular desktop or laptop will suffice to a degree. Cheers! http://www.iracing.com/nurburgring1000/
  7. Thank you, well said. I remember CM moderators stating this in the past as well. I enjoyed 2010-2013, but I always played offline.
  8. This is nothing compared to iRacing. NOTHING Who in the right mind wants to waste time racing with steering assist cheaters racing with t-cam and chase views besides kiddies?
  9. But to be completely honest, there's no interest at all in CM F1 league racing outside of Europe.
  10. Well, that's what happens when only CM owns the F1 license. I guess that's the best that iRacing can do currently with given restrictions.
  11. iRacing has that too. Although admittedly, everyone has to drive a 2009 F1 Williams FW31.
  12. Here's mine: https://picasaweb.google.com/111847310206856402929/September10201402?authkey=Gv1sRgCMXDqbH2pvmwrAE#slideshow/6057533434790223218
  13. If 2015 is anything like 2010-2013, CM will still have to limit their updates/patches for their consoles. Remember, CM only limited patches for their console games to one per yearly title due to cost reasons. I can see constant updates to PC like in the past years, but consoles patches can very well be few and far between. Ultimately, regardless of if the game is broken or not, the number of updates/patches will most likely be determined by how many console games they sell. They will never hurt themselves by losing money. They will count their money/revenues first.
  14. iRacing gives out $16,000 USD every year to their Grand Prix Series Champion and also $16,000 USD every year to their NASCAR Series Champion. They're on their 5th straight year doing this now. 34 yo Finnish guy, Greger Huttu has won the F1 series 3 years now. Awesome idea for PR! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmRiJZ2J_p8#t=867

  16. No sh!t sherlock. Grand Prix 2 from 1995 had it ffs and that was a DOS game. Also had telemetry, realistic replays, full array of reliablility issues, fastest lap charts, full race weekends, season results tables.. the list goes on....  I'm sorry a**hole but I beat you to it. iRacing has all that plus far more and it doesn't even require a gaming pc. Even regular desktops & laptops will suffice to a degree. I believe they even have a 3-mo free trial going on. http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/iracing-free-trial-for-3-months-valid-thru-sept-18-1617504171
  17. It's nice but not revolutionary. iRacing already has it going on right now.
  18. Yes, I also agree with you that t-cam is an aid. Well, I think that you are in the distinct minority in that you only use cockpit view for online 2013 play. For multi-player, I'll continue to stick with iRacing since I know everyone is forced to race the same way.
  19. Like I stated before, TV cam & chase are an advantage b/c of increased sight. And 90-95% do not use TV cam. Most use cockpit cam for offline and TV cam for online multi-player. They use TV cam for online multi-player or for TT b/c it's an advantage. I don't play Codemasters F1 for multiplayer b/c I don't want to use TV cam like everyone else is. That being said, most people who buy this game play offline, especially people residing outside the UK. Also, unfortunately, I realize the kiddies like TV cam & Chase. That's why CM has it in.
