DiRT Rally 2.0 Confirmed Car List

Looking forward to seeing the return of the Ibiza. I think it's a great looking supercar and looks even better in the livery that Rene is running the car with this year: Shame that there weren't a few more DS3's used in the World Championship this year, as you could have bought that back as well!

Those are for season 5: Impreza S4 WRC, Irish tarmac and the Toyota Celica GT4. 😉

DiRT Rally 2.0 Confirmed Car List

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking: we get both the cars that STARD have run this year? I assume the Ibiza model will be refreshed from DiRT 4 as well.

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

I am curious about the designation of some of the rallycross Fiestas in season four: "Ford Fiesta RXS Evo 5" (week 11) is a STARD designation, but a STARD car is also indicated on week nine. I know they ran two different specification cars this year, so I wonder if that accounts for the split as we are getting both versions of the car. About the only disappointment in rallycross terms is the lack of Hyundai still. And no sign of that Impreza S4 WRC, maybe they are saving that for season five...

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

No Week 7 release for season four? Is there something else yet to be announced, or are they having a month off? Surprised that they aren't going to give us CotA to complete the 2018 WRX season, but missing out on that is no great loss!

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

Well at least we have Estering to keep us amused in the meantime! Really looking forward to having another classic rallycross circuit in the game.

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

Yeah: I wondered if the 2 week release thing was going to carry on and, if that is the case, how quickly they'll want us to know what is going to be in season three.

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

I wonder if we will have to wait until after Estering for season 3 news? Or can we expect something early this week?
  10. I'm not actually sure how they are going to introduce it as there were some contradictions in the last lot of news stories I read about Projekt-E: some seem to suggest electric would be a separate series, others seemed to suggest they would be integrated with the ICE Supercars. Sadly I think electric is going to creep into all forms of motorsport, but at least they are implementing it in rallycross more sensibly now. The idea of bringing an unproven electric format in at the highest level seemed daft to me. The manufacturers may have been interested, but the majority of fans weren't! At least this way we'll get a taster of the cars before any change happens... ...that said, I can't see electric arriving at anything other than the highest level for sometime so, even if the World Championship does end up switching, the European and other national Championship are likely to stick with ICE for the foreseeable future.

    Ah, GT2 memories... ❤️
  13. Motors TV used to cover the French Rallycross Championship years ago and the coverage was terrible, this is much better! There are fantastic numbers in Supercar and Super 1600 in France. Plus the Division 3 cars are very cool. I have seen a few 8 and 10 car finals done: heavy collisions in turn one were frequent. I could see eight car finals working on some circuits, but if you think about some of the tracks the World Championship have used (Mettet, Barcelona Mk.2, Latvia and Turkey all spring to mind), the first corner would be absolute carnage with eight cars. I like to see a bit of paint getting swapped but, personally, I'd rather not see it turn into a demolition derby. (that said, eight Supercars leaving the line does sound incredible!)

I personally wouldn't rate them as that important (but then I prefer a lot of the cars in plain colours anyway, so that could be why!). If not including a classic livery is all it took to get a missing car in (especially the Celica!), then I would say it's a price worth paying.

DiRT Rally 2.0 Confirmed Car List

That is correct @Zulu0001: the classic Mini Cooper is the only Mini in game (at least for now). Complete car list for the game is on the first post on the first page of this thread. PS That definitely isn't the dumbest question that has been asked on here! 😄

Haha! As they haven't confirmed what DLC they are in yet, I haven't added them to the list yet!

I did those three immediately as well! Still got the DS21 to endure for that trophy, and Adaptable still doesn't seem to be popping, curses!

DiRT Rally 2.0 Confirmed Car List

Well it isn't officially confirmed yet, but the presence of the Mk.1 Focus WRC and S7 Impreza WRC seems to suggest they are coming soon!

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

Yeah, I thought that the style of the 911 SC RS livery was the way to go. I hope we get more like that. Slightly prefer? I mean the bugeye looks great in game, but its not even in the same league as the '97 - '00 Impreza WRCars in terms of looks! After that clip of CM recording audio, I am keeping everything crossed that we are getting an S4 Impreza WRCar in game.

    The Game Thread!

Sniper Elite 1 and 2 were excellent, I hope SE4 is as good!

That is disappointing, as Wipeout HD was good on PS3. I have downloaded it (and Sniper Elite), but not tried either yet.

Despite being a bug eye, that Subaru looks gooooooooood... ...as does the Focus in plain white!
