Hell no! The Yaris is the ugliest by far (that isn't to say that I don't like it, it just looks like a shoe box!).  I do think the Hyundai looks good, but it's the least radical looking of all the new cars in my opinion. I was  torn between the Fiesta and the i20 as my fave looking car, but I'm still favouring the Fiesta: it just looks bonkers with all the aero! Noo! Usually, for road cars, I hate aggressive designs such as Honda's, but the Yaris looks mean, aggressive and awesome. I love it from wing to splitter. I don't disagree that it looks mean... a mean shoebox. Irrespective of looks, the Yaris sounds great. From the video that I've seen the Yaris seems to have the most distinctive and aggressive engine note.  Absolutely. That seems to be one of the vital differences this year, the cars look unique, even to the untrained eye. I know I have already said it in this thread, but there was so much hope last year that the 2017 season would deliver and, thusfar, I'm so pleased that it is living up to the hype. It has been a lot of years since I have been continually counting down the time until the next round.

I see your RS200 and raise you Metro 6R4! What a time to be alive and have no money.  http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/mg/other-models/metro-6r4-group-b-tarmac-spec/6892971?utm_source=Facebook&utm_campaign=Used+Cars&utm_medium=Paid That 6R4 is stunning... but nothing can sway me from the RS200!

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

Its so pretty *___* I have to ask though and forgive my ignorance if this is correct but it lists it as Front Wheel Drive, was this true for the street versions? That description is incorrect @SirPhilMcKraken: all variants were 4WD. The little red lever you can see in the last photo is what controls the power split (50/50, 37/66 or full rear wheel drive).  In a lot of the road cars the linkage for this was either locked or completely removed: apparently a fully RWD RS200 was a bit of a handful!  Thats what I thought, glad I wasn't being stupid lol. The red lever power split I didn't know about though, sounds like great fun! Ford thought that being RWD might be advantageous is some situations, so the option was included on the RS200. All the Group B cars had some clever thinking behind them, but there was a lot of very smart engineering with the RS200.  Shame it got no proper chance to really get out there though :( Based on how well the RS200 (eventually) performed as a rallycross car, one wonders how good it might have been as a rally car if it had a year or two more of development.

OFF TOPIC: An original RS200 Evo - and arguably the best prepared street RS200 - is now up for sale:  http://www.classicandperformancecar.com/ford/rs200/1986-ford-rs200-evo-in-united-kingdom/246144/ad This is absolute automotive perfection...

Few more pictures of the car... ...hard to gauge from these little pictures, but that looks quite bent!

I still can't believe this is the worst that came of it: https://twitter.com/IvanOrdazGP/status/841025244496244736 Volkswagen, still trying hard to keep drivers off the podium!  :D Haha! That's pretty good. I wonder if the Citroen team offered to knock out the dents for him?

Given Meeke's input into DiRT 4, can you confirm if Your Stage will artificially generate spectator car parks for us to drive through if we go off-piste @KickUp?

    2020 FIA World Rally Championship

I'd Ebay it, then use the money to pay for the repair of the f**ked rear end of my car!  I have rewatched the clip multiple times now and Meeke was so lucky, that could so easily have been a retirement there. Fair play to Citroen, the C3 may have some handling issues on other surfaces, but it seems to be a tough car.  Three different winners, from three different manufacturers in the first three rounds. Tarmac next, I wonder who will perform best?  Well it's time for Neuville, isn't it? :-) Four from four would be pretty cool to see!

Pretty incredible finish to the rally. Great to see the C3 delivering on gravel and both Meeke and Neuville with a decent result. Would be good to see the top of the table close up more, but I'm perhaps being a little demanding there: this season continues to deliver on the early promise, fingers crossed it stays this way!

Sadly not. I was actually planning to go to the opening BTRDA rallycross round at Blyton, but I have to skip it for work. Bugger!

    2020 FIA World Rally Championship

Absolutely. Without ALS a turbo will be slower to spool and off throttle response will be greatly reduced. Given the new regulations, my assumption is that they are running bigger turbos for 2017, which would exacerbate the problem even further.

    2020 FIA World Rally Championship

Absolutely! Piss poor planning from the organizers, stupid to deviate from the tried and tested format of previous years when it comes to the spectator stages.

Good shout @RodgerDavies. Perhaps it could be implemented in the form of a random "stuck in traffic" bonus level?

I wear mine with pride too :D https://twitter.com/paulwoodford84/status/835181641198891008 Is yours signed @Rallycameraman?  No, but I got something else that was signed from @KickUp which I am delighted to have.  The amount of stuff hidden in drawers in Codies is outrageous! Haha! More cool stuff than storage space. What did you get? I am managing to suppress my jealously of the signed item thus far... (...unless you tell me it's signed by Petter or Colin)

@SirPhilMcKraken and I saw several of those getting signed at the London event: they were all whisked away before we could grab one though! :D Congrats!  I know, I was thinking that when I saw this post haha. Shame! Oh well, I got to battle Meeke so I was happy :P Don't you mean beat Meeke?  ;)

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

With the changes coming to the rallycross cars (and the increase in rallycross circuits) for D4, I can't see me returning to play that on DR. I'm sure I will fire DR up again to revisit Pikes Peak and certain rally stages though.
