Notice how there is a "Fiesta" pen beside the modes page? "Fiesta" is Spanish f or "party" and the book is open on section "5.0" so I think the hint is obvious there:gfRally said:This just in:

The "reacquainted" part is gossip worthy? Hope they are looking at CMR3 as well, its all about tge interface.
PARTY MODES CONFIRMED FOR DIRT 5.0

Everything is better with boost: FACT. I haven't read a bad word about the latter generation Fiesta ST's, so I'd say you made a sound choice!enamel said:
Is that a diesel motor? We don't get any Foci in the states with a 1.8L.RallyDriven said:Well I've been debating cars for a while, what I'd really want is something rear-wheel drive with a bit of power, but unfortunately that's not what I can afford! :( So I've gone for a Focus, mainly because it was a 1.8 turbo!
Just picked up a Fiesta ST last week, it is my first turbo car and I am completely addicted to boost. Also drove the Focus ST and liked it a lot, but fell in love with the light weight feeling of the Fiesta. Plus its my daily city commuter so the smaller size was attractive.
Why would you want to pee on your own car?sqdstr said:
And here's from a Mitsi driver
If operating costs are a concern, then you were wise to avoid both an Evo or a Subaru!enamel said:I really wanted an EVO X but the Fiesta was such a better value as far as operating costs are concerned.
We have manly 99 RON petrol here, not that tap water you call Gasoline over there...JZStudios said:
I'm still glad I live in America, where the GASOLINE is sitting around $2/gallon. And we don't get taxed on our stupid big engines... even if my cars only a i4...
(I'm jealous really: I want cheap fuel!) -
Ooooh, what you got? If I am fortunate enough to get an invite again I will probably train it up there, as driving the Scoob to Southam and back will cost me a small fortune in petrol! :DRallyDriven said:
Yes, the last time there was an invite list good things happened! Plus it could be my first road trip in my new cartbtstt said:
^ That. Hopefully more will be said about the invite thing soon: I'm hoping that when there is something ready to show off it won't be long before we learn more!Didzis said:

Yeah. I've treated this years WRC as a series of individual events rather than a Championship. The overall result was a foregone conclusion, but the individual event results where interesting.Porkhammer said:
Still better than having him win every single round though, at least in my opinion.RallyDriven said:Unfortunately, whilst there have been lots of winners this season, although it was exciting, it only really helped Ogier extend his lead
I hope all the winners from 2016 will be able to consistently challenge in 2017. -
This season was more about when Ogier was going to win the title, not if! -
Ah. I remember when I first joined the DiRTy Gossip thread. I was young and full of optimism...KevM said:I feel this could be the calm before the storm?? :o

I got it: By replacing the letters of the alphabet with numbers "W grze" becomes "23 7 18 26 5"Job3k said:

5 x 7 = 35.
35 + 18 = 53.

Black pudding is awesome. Deal with it. :smiley:JZStudios said:
How do you ice a steak anyways? I'm just imagining spreading chocolate or cream cheese icing on a steak, and frankly that makes me sick.ChristinaMc said:
'icing a steak' is my new favourite phrase.dgeesi0 said:so basically turning it into f1 ? :D
you look at what is the key of the game focus on that. rally is more about the raw get in race of the course. the rest is pretty much immaterial. its like icing a steak. the core experience should be tasty enough that there is no need to add extras for the sake of adding them.
everyone has different opinions though. i respect yours ;)
Then again, you guys also like blood pudding. -
Is this in the thread, or elsewhere? I'm hoping that the Codemasters tea and biscuit day that was discussed with @ChristinaMc a few weeks ago is still on the cards.Dytut said:And they’re not just busy eating teacakes. Or Yorkie bars.
Can anyone shed some light on if this is clever gossip or just random stuff? :-) -
No, you're not alone there! Perhaps a slightly prettier service area (like the one in CMR 2005) and more refinements in the menu would be nice, but time spent driving through ceremonial starts and the like is time that I would rather spend racing on a stage!dgeesi0 said:is it only me who just wanted to rally without the full trimmings on to skip through?
i actually like how dirt rally is so minimal to get to what i want to do. which is pick location and start. not watch this what that wait then progress. -
I personally think that the post from Colin Clark is referencing the similar look of the cars rather than hinting at how the WRC program is to be run, but that's just my opinion.
I really hope that M-Sport can produce a competitive car to meet the new regulations. -
I was expecting to love the Fiesta more, but I'm not convinced yet. It looks stretched to make the extended track width rather than chunky like the current car.
Shall wait until we see the finished cars before I commit to my fave looking one! -
As much as I like the idea of upping the realism, I think the "bad" co-driver could prove very frustrating. I have enough trouble staying out of the trees with good notes, let alone if they are wrong! :D -
Few photos from my motorsport outings in the last month. Couple from the British Rallycross Championship at Lydden...
...few from the World Rallycross Championship at Loheac...

...and finally some shots from the European Grasstrack Championship at Swingfield:

First time I've watching grasstrack and I was very impressed: a bunch of lunatics on bikes and even bigger nutters in the sidecars! -
This looks like a ridiculous amount of fun! Was hoping to give the Scoob a run to Rallyday but I just couldn't fit it in. Seems to be some mixed comments on the show itself, but it looks like you had a good time!Rallycameraman said:I had some fun last weekend

I eat my greens at the weekend and went to bed early. And I haven't sworn for at least 10 minutes.RallyDriven said:There was also something about an invite list, so best behaviour everyone! -

Very much later than planned, but I finally caught up with my photos and uploaded an album of Loheac pictures last night. Few of my faves...ChristinaMc said:
All over the tea and biscuits situation. ;)tbtstt said:
Once again, harsh treatment from the Codemasters team. I'm sure they will be apologizing by way of tea and biscuits when they organize the community day though...ChristinaMc said:F2CMaDMaXX said:Hands up who think @ChristinaMc (knowing that @tbtstt missed them) is now rubbing ithe in our faces
Also, I don't like that the new PT area is being setup and I won't be able to schedule a flight to get there:(
In other news I will make a start on my pictures from Loheac this week. Should have a few pictures of all the fantastic racing that @ChristinaMc and co. missed because they went home early. I'm sure watching it on TV was just as good. ;)
And, I would love to see a few pictures from Loheac! Absolutely gutted we didn't stay. Watching it on TV wasn't the same, :( Although being at home did give me the opportunity to second screen between WRX and F1... the WRX was by far the better show though.

Your sensible answer seems out of place in the gossip thread @RallyDriven. Please try replying again, this time with more ludicrous speculation in your comment.RallyDriven said:I'd imagine it's more like a production milestone, like hitting a development target/certain build of the game, or getting certain parts of the game given the go ahead. -
The front of the C3 WRC reminds me of the MINI Countryman WRC (and that's not a good thing). Overall it's a lot better than I was expecting though. Damn shame they didn't stick with the DS3, as we already know that a wide arch DS3 looks good: just look at the rallycross cars! -
My theory is that they just amassed a very large pile of games by Milestone and smashed them up.Dytut said:
They might just have been out drunk driving and swerved into a milestone. Otherwise I'd be forced to get hyped, and I can't stand being hyped.RookieOne said:Time to gossip again :
