    don't give a **** about the Mini.

Have to say I'm not that fussed about it as well. Sure I'll try it if they add it, but there are other rallycross Supercars I'd much rather see first.

My biggest rallycross gripe at the moment (and the Discord conversation inflamed it again last night) is the RX RS200: it's specs are wrong and it needs more go!

Some of you guys here might know this sort of thing better than I, if I wanted to make an historically accurate Group B RX championship what tracks should be included that we'll eventually have in game?

Lydden, Estering and Loheac perhaps? Maybe Hell and Holjes too? I'm not really up on my classic RX knowledge...

Lydden, Loheac, Estering and Holjes all hosted European Rallycross rounds during the Group B era.

Rallycross didn't go to Hell until much later.

Also the MINI RX was confirmed by Bennett, but apperently not will be in the game.

As said before, I question how accurate a source Bennett is.

Good question about the current Fiesta liveries: the Baumanis and Nitiss liveries are on the wrong Mk.7 Fiesta, so I wonder if the Baumanis one will be moved.

I immediately bought Deluxe, so I did not know that the S1 / S2 sold separately.  What is the price of each season?

I didn't look until someone mentioned it earlier today but, looking on the PS Store...

    https://store.playstation.com/en-gb/grid/EP4001-CUSA12747_00-DIRTRALLY2EU0001/1?relationship=add-ons

...I don't think you can buy the individual seasons, but you can buy each individual car and location from both seasons thus far.

If I have got this right then the Deluxe pack (so all of season one and two) was £21.99
    The season one content (3 x rally locations @ £2.89 & 6 x cars @ £1.15) bought individually was £15.57.
    The season two content (1 x rally location @ £2.89, 2 x rallycross tracks @ £2.89 & 6 x cars @£1.15) bought individually was £15.57.

I assume those prices are similar across all platforms.

Assuming that season three and four use similar prices then there will be some saving buying individually for those who just want rally content.

Why are we getting 2 Baumanis' cars? Did they change to a new car during the season? From my knowledge (that could be wrong) the upper Fiesta is from last season.

STARD have run with one old and one new car this year, as construction of the second car wasn't complete at the start of the season.

Baumanis has been using the latest car (the Ford Fiesta RXS Evo 5), while the second STARD car is last years (sorry, I didn't get a picture of Passonen at Silverstone, which is why I used a picture of Baumanis in the same car last year!).

so is 2 new livrery  for 2 ford fiesta

The 2018 STARD Fiesta has a different bodykit/running gear to the MK.7/MK.8 cars that are currently in DR2.0 (which are based on the OMSE Fiesta) and the 2019 STARD Fiesta (Ford Fiesta RXS Evo 5) has evolved again so, although it may look like liveries from a casual glance, there are more chances.

That said, its the sort of subtle differences that I doubt anyone other than the die-hard rallycross fans are going to appreciate, so I can see that season four isn't going to be that popular.

I'd like to see CM break down similar evolutions with the rally cars and include some of the different variants of the R5 cars.

Sooooo.... where is the '99 Impreza then?

... wasn't the Nissan Kitcar confirmed too?

I thought the Subaru was unlikely at this point, but I expected to see the Nissan in season 3 or 4. Could it have been delayed by licensing?

As you say, with the amount of "loose ends" we know about there is surely another season - or another title - on the horizon.

Those 2 extra DLC slots have to be for COTA RX and Spa RX, surely! Surely!

My poor OCD needs both RX seasons complete 😞

My OCD side wants to see 2018 complete, but I can let it go as that circuit was dreadful!

    (In my personal opinion anyway)

This is going to sound so selfish, but we will be out of the office at that date celebrating the end of 2019/start of 2020.

Ha! It was only after I posted that I realised the dates for that week @CMMcBabe (And that there are three cars releases elsewhere in the season).

Fine, take week 7 off then you part timers... 😄

    - Peugeot 208 WRX - i don't really know if there is difference between the 2019 spec and the version already in the game
    - Audi S1 EKS RX Quattro - Ofcourse already in game. Don't know if they do updates, or maybe the older spec used by JC Racetekic (Larsson, Ide, Ekstrom, ...)

I'll have to have another look, but I can't recall which version of the car the 208 in DR2.0 is based on. The 2019 cars are (as I am sure you already know) the cars from the first half of the 2018 season with some minor tweaks.

Yeah, the 2019 cars (RX Cartel & Szabo) are the later specification S1's with some minor refinements, which aren't that dissimilar to the cars we already have in game.

One another MAJOR suprise. NO MINI. Really a big suprise, as XITE is heavily involved with with Codemasters (promotion, GRiD).

Maybe a licensing issue? Or perhaps they aren't bothering because the car is a bit ****.

    36 minutes ago, JorritVD said:

And maybe not that big of a suprise after all. NO HYUNDAI. I guess the licensing is really difficult for it. Also don't forget Hyundai is heavily involved in WRC and e-sports of that. So I would not suprise there are politics into play here.

This is the biggest disappointment in RX terms. Oh, and that my beloved Solberg DS3 isn't back!

(Although the Citroen that was in previous games was actually based on a LD Motorsport car).

    Correct on the Stard cars.

Yeah the Ibiza is a very different car this year too.

Looking forward to seeing the return of the Ibiza. I think it's a great looking supercar and looks even better in the livery that Rene is running the car with this year:

Shame that there weren't a few more DS3's used in the World Championship this year, as you could have bought that back as well!

    2019 Ford Mk. 8 Fiesta 4x4 T16 (DLC4) - This is the OMSE MK8 version
    2019 Ford Fiesta (STARD) 4x4 T16 (DLC4) - This is the STARD MK7 version
    2019 Ford Fiesta RXS Evo 5 4x4 T16 (DLC4) - This is the STARD MK8 version

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking: we get both the cars that STARD have run this year?

I assume the Ibiza model will be refreshed from DiRT 4 as well.

  14. I am curious about the designation of some of the rallycross Fiestas in season four: "Ford Fiesta RXS Evo 5" (week 11) is a STARD designation, but a STARD car is also indicated on week nine. I know they ran two different specification cars this year, so I wonder if that accounts for the split as we are getting both versions of the car.

About the only disappointment in rallycross terms is the lack of Hyundai still. And no sign of that Impreza S4 WRC, maybe they are saving that for season five...
