I really want the F2 kit cars back! I want to blast down those Spanish tarmac roads in the Pug! It would be really cool to see an expanded class too. Although I feel we will be waiting quite a while for it! Thankfully it’s not *too* long until the season one dlc starts to trickle in

Yeah, its the "obvious" choice, but I am all about the Pug 306 as well. Fingers crossed the class is coming though, like you say, I think it will be in a later season...

...as ever though, I'm happy to be proven wrong if it means we get more cars sooner!

Sorry, but I must have missed something when I saw the video...

Great, can we also this info, use as confirmation , that there we will be more of season above 2? because if goes by plane S2 is RX and 6 Cars only!

I think so: with the amount of cars that have been hinted at now there is surely more than they can fit into season 2.

His liveries are very out there and most would say obnoxious but I just love them. Whoever the graphic designer is does a fantastic job

Bit on the livery design (and some more angles of the car) in this video:

I just see it as another source of fire spitting 😉

Seems like the consequence of having a designer rather than an engineer put the render of the car together to me...

Quick note: Ken Block is a Forza ambassador, and his Hoonigan cars are likely exclusive to the Forza franchice (most of them are in Forza Horizon 4)

I saw a video last night and he seems to be doing a world tour of rallies in his new Cosworth.

Yeah, some rallies and some shows (including Goodwood Fos). Here it is with the lights on...

I've still not watched that, keep meaning to! Who knows. as much as I think his car looks dope, I hope they aren't "bastardising" too many originals. I don't even know how many are still in the wild lol

Yeah, that's why I am hoping he has chopped up the "art" car and not a genuine Group A EscCos.

I thought Gymkhana Files was excellent: watching them making Gymkhana 10 was far more entertaining than the actual film! (Though I'd say you're doing it the right way round watching the making of after seeing Gym 10).

He's already had one but crashed it and it burnt to a crisp:

Yeah, it got mentioned in his "Gymkhana Files" series and he discusses the crash in the video that accompanied the image I posted. Apparently it was the fault of the (rather rare) gearbox.

I wonder if this is his third EscCos, or if the "art car" (in the background of the photo) was used for this.

Shame he didn't bring another Group A car back to the stages, but the blend of the old and new sounds awesome on paper!

the only track that feels weird to me in RX is mettet.................................................     just don't know where the hell i  should drive 😆

The only real disappointment with the game for me so far: every other track in game seems spot on, I can't understand why none of the gradients seem right in Mettet.

Off topic, but has anyone seen the latest news from Ken Block?

90's Group A meets modern WRC. I can't wait to see what this looks like!

The 208 is the only wrx car Ive used so far. Also the only R5 I’ve used. And the only R2 I’ve used. I like Peugeot rally cars, hate Peugeot road cars

Wise man. That said I had a Peugeot 106 and loved it... right up until the moment I had (a spectacular) head gasket failure.

I have found the Megane and S1 quickest so far. I have also put in a couple of belting laps with the Mk.8 Fiesta, but the laps either side of it are completely useless! I am also pretty consistent in the Polo, but I have to work very hard to get near my Megane and S1 lap times.

Yeah the handling is very good, there’s a real fine line between being quick and overdriving. It’s difficult to be quick and consistent lap after lap

Thus far I have found that I can be very consistent in the Megane, but I think all of my fastest laps have been set in the S1.

I intend to spend a bit more time with the 208 this evening as, thus far, I am nowhere near my best lap times in that car.

Yea I haven't been able to pick a solid line through that last complex yet.

I have found a good line a few times, I just don't seem able to consistently repeat it!

The last two corners at Silverstone can be quite finickity as well, it seems to be much easier to "overdrive" the Supercars in DR2.0, sometimes a bit less throttle is the key!

So where's the "rumoured car list"?

That's what the Gossip thread is for! :classic_biggrin:

Good list, I hadn't seen the 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RSR licensing, is that in the credits?

I hope we get properly developed rallycross versions of the RS200 and 6R4 in season two.

    Supercars (Rallycross):

XITE Mini Cooper SX1 (teased by Codies, Bennett)
SEAT Ibiza RX (missing since DiRT 4)
DS 3 (missing since DiRT 4)

The Focus RS RX and MINI Countryman are also missing from DiRT 4: although the Countryman didn't run in 2018, so wouldn't really fit with the theme of DR2.0.

    My guess for season 2:

    Modern Rally 2000cc:

    2001 Subaru Impreza S7 WRC
    2001 Ford Focus RS

    Group B (Rallycross):

    Ford RS200 Evolution
    MG Metro 6R4

    Supercars (Rallycross):

    Mini Cooper S
    Citroen DS3*

    * The absence of kit cars maybe suggests an issue with Seat licensing, if I am mistaken about that though (and there are no problems with Seat), then I think the Ibiza is more likely. I hope it's the DS3 though as that was my favourite car to drive though!

Really hoping one of the 'special liveries' in store is this one...

First really nice looking Polo R5 livery for me (jagged lines offsetting the length of it).

Wow, that looks fantastic! I agree with you, despite not being that big the current liveries all seem to stretch the appearance of the car.

Are The Ford Escort Mk2  has  in that radiator grill 4 Spotlights is thats Fictional ? i dont find any picture wiht a Ford Escort Mk 2 with 4 spotlights in the radiator gril.........  and in Dirt Rally and Dirt 4 the car has 2 spotlights

Yes, it's based on a real car @gleylancer571. It's actually a pretty famous car (and livery), you can see it here:

The Escort in DR1 and DiRT 4 was based on the Mk.2 Escort owned by McRae. That car is very awesome, but a very long way from 1970's specification. The Escort in DR2.0 is period correct!
