So I finally went back and played dirt rally in vr after having not played it since dirt 4 came out. Everything feels right again, I really hope codies reconsiders their position on vr on future titles as they had something special with it.

Hmmm, I'm not sure. I have the universal hub so it might view the buttons differently.

@griev0r So after some more playing I think I jumped to a conclusion. While it says it's a button it does seem to act as an axis now that I've tested strictly for it. I think i was to tired last night to really control the throttle properly so it felt wide open most of the time. That being said it still never shows up in the axis detection menu and the brakes feel off and since I can't look at the axis I can't verify. Another issue that is rather annoying is when the game sets the steering lock it never changes back after I exit the game. I have to use the settings menu on the cswv2.5 to switch steering lock from aut to another value and back again. So you can imagine how off it felt when I played dirt 4 again with the steering lock already set there so it was taking that rotation off of the already lowered rotation setting. Felt like I was driving in an f1 car hitting lock with half a rotation. It's not a game breaker but first time I've ever had this happen on this wheel and frankly shouldn't happen. I'm sure this is probably only affecting certain rig combinations though. All that being said the stages are great and the physics really surprised me in a good way. I still feel that dirt is better in the physics department but this is definitely better than wrc6.

Thank you @LudwigVonMises I'll try this out once I'm back on my computer. I will say the game seemed like it could be decent but only getting 0% and 100% throttle and brake inputs was really pissing me off when I was trying it. My excuse for not seeing your post is it was late and i just wanted to post my findings since others were curious about multi inputs. Once I try out what they were saying on isr I'll post back if it all works out.

There are definitely issues with multi input. It lets me map the throttle and brake to my csv3 pedals but only sees them as a button and not an axis. I'm to tired to care or figure it tonight so gonna try again tomorrow.

Looks like I'm definitely gonna give wrc7 a look. I'm still probably gonna play more dirt 4 though, especially once leagues are implemented.

Why we would need a Garage for 120 cars, if there's only 55 ingame? It's pretty obvious, at least for me, they plan/planned dlcs for D4. When it will happen, i don't know, but i'd focus first on trying to fix "the issues" the game has, and make it a more enjoyable experience, for all. If they release dlcs before that, community will not be very happy, i'm sure of that. Just see what people were saying, on Forums, after this last patch... Now imagine if is dlcs. You mean the patch that deals with something that the people who deal with the actual gameplay likely had no hand in. That patch? Here's a hint, the people who actually deal with the underlying code of the software itself almost certainly have no hand in the physics model. The fact that people are acting like that being released means they aren't looking at handling shows me how little many of you actually know about software development.

The rng gods hate us I think. That's a livery I've yet to see in classifieds as well.

Usually it's the showers weather setting that will have rain come and go.

@Sho846 while you weren't asking me I would say the book human action is probably his best work.

SSDs are amazing. I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to platter drives for the OS.

If you have a windows disk you could try booting into that and get to the recovery console. Try bootrec /fixboot and bootrec/fixmbr when working with the disk that the mbr got wiped from and there is a chance it might be fixable. That was the first thing I've tried, with no success. I'm not really angry, finally a motivation for a small PC upgrade, cleaning and unnecesarry data wipe. The upgrade to SSD is absolutely 100% worth it. My options for a movie list would include Ferris Buellers Day Off, Uncle Buck, AIRPLANE!, Caddyshack, City Slickers, Blues Brothers, Fifth Element, Spaceballs, Galaxy Quest, Surfs Up, Blazing Saddles, The Naked Gun, The Naked Gun 22 1/2, The Naked Gun 33 1/3, Just about anything else with Leslie Nielson, The Marx Brothers, and Kung Pow: Enter the Fist. The Princess Brides decent too. Those are just the essentials. Quote from those on a day to day basis. I have SSD drives at my work PC and it is a blast difference in loading times and files operations. Wow, I didn't see half or more of these movies. Ahh, figured I would throw it out there.

Haha, wow. Guess I should've figured that no ones seen that movie... as AWESOME as it is. You guys kind of suck. If you want to get STAIGHT to the quote, go to 1:20. Ahh makes more sense now. Never seen that movie, but recognize that it was parodied in the Post-Credit Scene of Deadpool...   it's something :) Look at me, I'm Mary Poppins Y'all !  I've said it before and I'll say it again, old movies are better. Surprised at how many know AIPLANE! but not Ferris Bueller. It's on my Netflix watch list! Need to see it. We need to create a list of movies like that. I've liked that from the few minutes I seen it. My HDD failed today, or shall I say don't mess with diskpart if you aren't sober. Selected wrong disk, wrong partition and wrong command, without hesitation pressed enter because some moron in Microsoft thought it's okay to make changes to HDD without a confirmation. testdisk did it's job but i've lost the MBR part of disk. BIOS won't detect it even though it's mountable in Debian and it installed the system without a single problem. Have to format it so I've finally got a reason to upgrade to SSD. Gonna take 2x125GB tomorrow to finally separate my Unix and Win system + data on two 1TB HDDs. Uh, that was a hell boring/stressful friday evening.  /E: If that wouldn't be enough the reinstall and diskpart was caused by 2 BSODs and 2 F13 cause of completely stucked at D4. Not sure if my GPU isn't faling as well, but there wasn't anything prompting that way in Debian.... when it was still installed. I've also had 4 fails of Nvidia drivers in past 3 days. Never happened to me. Gonna buy some thermal paste and clean my graphic card as well tomorrow. Hell, it will be torn apart, why not make a general cleanup. Sorry for missing "n", i don't have that key in my old laptop :D If you have a windows disk you could try booting into that and get to the recovery console. Try bootrec /fixboot and bootrec/fixmbr when working with the disk that the mbr got wiped from and there is a chance it might be fixable.

I had a question for @Hatward or @KickUp , with leaderboards and dailies and the like is there any chance to add an out of section to show how many people are listed or to at least add back in the ability to go to the top of the leaderboard and press up to go to the bottom.

@KickUp I was curious have any of the patches so far affected the ai? It seems like the ai on tough now goes faster than pretty much everyone on the leaderboards in Wales whereas I had no problem with them on Friday and Saturday. Seemed odd to me that a couple of them actually went faster than porkhammer and joona pansku as that basically means no one will beat the ai on some of the stages. It's not every stage but happens pretty frequently. Sometimes I'm going flat out in highest gear and the ai tracker on the left just has them building a bigger and bigger lead.
