  1. This is mine, and this is what I need to see included before I start buying these games again:

    • Force cockpit view for multiplayer
    • VR support
    • The ability to practice in single player, in any car, with the Equal car setting enabled

There's a lot of stuff I'd like to see in addition to this, but these are the only 3 items that are holding me back from buying, so I won't even bother to list the others at this time.

    It's there?

Fanatec CSL Elite is listed for PC, I don't know if the PS4 (which you wrote) specifies a different version of the wheel though.

Fanatec CSL Elite Wheel Base + officially licensed for PS4 is a different wheel base, and it's worked with all past versions of F1 201x on PC:  https://www.fanatec.com/us-en/wheel-bases/csl-elite-wheel-base-officially-licensed-for-ps4-usa.html

  3. Well, we've had some small degree of progress:

Is there a Force Cockpit option for online races? NO

    Are Track limits fixed/properly defined?
    Is there VR support?
Is there the ability to practice in single player with Equal cars?
    Is there a Virtual Mirror?

To those of you saying VR Support won't be included, well, at this point in time, I'd have to say that's almost certain, for release at least.  However, VR Support is included in DiRT Rally, and it's being added to DiRT Rally 2.0, so it's not like Codemasters are ignoring VR all together.

At this point in time, I will not be buying due to the lack of these features, or lack of response, but I will continue to keep an eye on news surrounding the game.  Not holding out hope for F1 2019 though, but maybe 2020.

Every year the same tune on this forum. They release a trailer and everyone is up in arms because they haven't seen something they wanted to see. Those claims that the game is about to release and codemasters hasn't shown anything are ridiculous. The game is still more than a month away. There is still lot of info that will come if you use your brain and think about what you know already about the game. There will surely be more info about multiplayer because they got some entirely new stuff going on in multiplayer like new liveries and a system to make you come back to multiplayer. I'm sure they are very proud about what they did for multiplayer so I'm sure they will show us more for release.

Why can't people just wait? Last year I saw an entire season of career gameplay before the game came out on youtube. If there is one developer that isn't afraid to show everything before release it is codemasters. I have good faith they will release way more info before release.

Pre-order is available, and by that time, we should know enough about the game to know whether we want to pre-order.  A lot of us don't.

  5. I've been saying that I need to see 4 things added to the game before I buy F1 2019:

    • Track limits properly defined
    • VR support
    • Force Cockpit option for online races
    • The ability to practice in single player with Equal cars

If that's in F1 2019, CM get another buy from me.  If not, maybe I'll see you in F1 2020.... 21? Never?
