I've bought F1 2013 some time ago and have been struggling with it.
I do enjoy the game a bit while racing with the classics or season challenge (on the easy mode) , but career mode seems impossible to me as I very rarely can attain anything other than last position.
I've read that one should get a steering wheel, but i travel a lot and use my laptop to play, so it's not practical to carry a steering wheel.
I'd really like to make a career mode with some degree of success. Is it possible without a steering wheel or without committing many hours of practice to the game by means of applying some "easy mode patch" or "easy mode setup"?
F1 2013 playable for a casual gamer?

After the most welcome input here, I gave it a go with a grip mod and ended up getting pole and winning 40s ahead of Alonso in my Force India in a 14 lap race in career mode...
Obviously this mod is overkill, but I know now that "easy mode" is possible and it's a matter of getting a less aggressive mod or otherwise fine tuning it to my level.
