  1. I think both 'gamer' and 'casual' might give the wrong idea to some. A lot of gamers on that side might think that the 'gamer' mode just means all assists on, same for 'casual'. Certainly lots of people wont read the descriptions of both modes so will just select the one with the name they think is right. 

    Maybe call it 'Basic' and 'Simulation'. That way you are not talking about a group of players but rather the physics itself.

  3. Ooh another question popped into my mind just now. Will it be possible to spectate live during online rally's and rallycross? You see live broadcasts with championship races in rFactor 2 and iRacing, but it wasn't really possible to do any live coverage in DiRT Rally. I did a short DiRT Rally championship with a league that usually does rFactor 2 with live coverage, and they covered a single round using replay footage. It's in Dutch, but it shows how cool this could be for leagues if it was possible to do live.

  4. Found some more real onboard footage from the Lake Superior Performance Rally which is held in Michigan. Onboard stuff is scattered trough out the video with the first proper footage at 4:00, but I advise to watch the whole thing if you're not familiar with Subaru's Launch Control video's. Anyways, Mchigan provides some nice, quick and flowing roads!

  5. How is damage repairs being handled this time? Still with a percentage bar where each % increment is a certain amount of time? Or will you have to replace certain unrepairable parts such as tires, as you wouldn't be able to repair a tire?

And can i ask for a future that i realy would like to have, use My handcontroller for navigatorn in menys.     I believe that's up to Sony to implement into the PS4. Microsoft is coming with an update for Xbox which enables you to pair up 2 controllers (or a wheel and controller) and use them as 1. They say that you can play with 2 people as one which comes in handy (all the puns)  if you have an injury or handicap. But added bonus is for wheel users with custom rims that removes button functionality. Would be nice to see this come to the PS4 as well.
  7. One little question for those who went last November. Can you put the car in first gear right away this time when you're standing still? That might have been my biggest pet peeve (next to the lack of clutch override in hairpins, but that was added). Spinning or crashing the car while in 6th gear and having to go trough all of them to get to 1st or reverse. :neutral: I understand that h-pattern would be slow if you would go trough all the gears in a sequential way, but it would be nice if you could go from 6th to 1st with one downshift if your car is doing less then 5 mph or so. Or maybe a function where you press both shifters (up and down at the same time) or a seperate button to get to neutral.
  8. The amount of cars that were in the build was about half of what we'll see in the final version. And with the 2010+ cars removed there is more space for some of the older cars to make those classes more complete. I would love to see the Peugeot 206 and the Seat Cordoba join the Subaru and Focus!
  9. So about the Your Stage mode.

    Are stages created 100% from scratch? So the only thing a location dictates is the sort of roads surface, trees, obstacles etc. there are, but the rest is 100% unique for each stage?

    Or is it more like Grid 2 where there are certain sections that are combined together to create a new combination?

    Maybe they have decided to stop making F1 titles each year and instead focus one project per year. So 2016/17 would have all resources to DiRT and 2017/18 would be F1 time.

    I'm not really updated on the F1 titles though, so I have no idea if CM even has the license now.
