To be honest dont pay much attention to them, they dont mean anything apart from the gear. The rest are just randomly displayed  that won't affect your performance at all, they'll tell you it might but in all honesty it wont.

Pad setting are wrong and so are wheel settings. Codemasters F1 games are never going to be similar to driving a real f1 car the closest you'll get is probably the Assetto corsa f1 mod

Yet another pointless thread by the same person, ban pads its simple, auto gears bug doesnt exist for me on PC but the tyre bug for the race does but it probably wont be fixed you just have to trust the people you race with

Well from my experience, I joined on the forums(european league), someone told me how to join and everything, I join mumble, DJ Davey P turns up late and then doesn't take control of anything, everyone is silent, half can't speak English, just feels exactly like a public lobby. Get into the race and I'm leading for most of it and then I get bashed off by second place, if youve got a video of me crashing into a wall then I can only assume it's lag due to hardly any of them being based in the UK. The american side I accept is well run but the European PC side just seems to be neglected, that's why I said there is no community, different drivers every week and the co-ordinator wasn't there for half the time either, so from my experience your league on the European side is awful.

The best place to race online in is leagues. In our league 99% of us are from England and we have no lag or anything like that, it's a lot better to join a league rather than join public lobbies. PRL above really isn't the league you want to join, it has no community, all they care about is you turning up for numbers beyond that it doesn't matter, they say keep signing up even if the league is full because spaces always become available, we all know why because you get bashed off.

Record with a recording program if on PC and a capture card if on console, thanks. Otherwise decent lap but it would be nice if the set up was included in the description properly not just short-hand or even in the video. Personally I would never use a 1-1 wings set up and the rest is fairly bad too but I did like the lap.

By the way as a hint anybody using set ups or changing driving style to save on wear is doing it wrong, go as fast as you can every lap.

did you use Primes in Q2 though because if you did then that's why as you start the race on the tyres you set your time on in Q2 now. For online tyre selection is broken, after quali you can select any tyre in the race so I imagine its the same for career or GP mode

Pads are already banned in our leagues but im afraid all the aids on the pad are there to stay, they were aids on pads for 2013 too which made them faster than a wheel anyways. Yes ABS is bugged but I can lock up if I try so they just need to increase the lock up chance but codies think all pad users need assists so it probably wont be removed.

Rev counter tells you to shift before you should :( Its not a bug mate, its how its meant to be, when the shift lights go to the purple amd you shift before it starts flashing that is 12,000 revs, you can go all the way up to 15,000 and it does nothing different other then stop you from changing up an extra gear, in real life this is the same but they have programmed the cars to have the shift lights at 12,000 as this is the best revs to go fast and save fuel, they dont go to the engine limit in real life which is 15,000 revs as like in the game wont give the car more power it just burns more fuel  Codemasters have admitted it was a bug and have already attempted to patch it.

The pad traction is not a bug, its to make the game easier for casual players who use the pad. If you want to play properly then purchase a wheel or you will also just be put into a casual category

Rev counter tells you to shift before you should :( Yeah I wouldnt play online unless in a league so I suppose we are lucky in my league to have great racing, most of us are in UK, its mainly down to codies net code, cars flying in the air like at the beginning from 2013, im pretty sure that'll be fixed soon though.

Well I couldn't care about career patches, online is what is important as that's where most hours are spent, parc ferme tyre bug needs fixing, a few laggy cars needs fixing and the rev counter is broken other than that apart from tyre wear which needs to be a little higher its fine.

Get into a decent league and you'll have plenty of fun and if you can throw it in the bin you are playing on the wrong platform.

You can build a gaming PC for about £300 that will play this game well with a solid 60FPS, the only problem is that you need to know how to build a pc.

Blame consoles

It's easy enough to get a 1:25.xxx online in equal cars so I'm sure it can't be too hard to beat them.
