    I hope someone makes a V8 sound mod :(

There will be a PC mod I think, how quick it comes out I'm not sure but the console peasants wont be able to change it, the new engines sound fine anyways, if you want a good engine sound youd go for the v10s of the early 2000s.

    Need help

you arent good at racing if you have all those assists on and cant drive well in other games the assists will probably be automatically on which makes you think you are good. You are probably using a pad by the sounds of it, make sure you brake then turn and use racing line for now, feather the throttle, dont press it down straight away, do it gradually. You are carrying too much speed through the corners and having racing line on will help a lot, do a stable lap first not a fast lap and build it up.

    Telemetry

There is a mod for PC for this, most likely most people wont know how to read telemetry so it wont be on the proper version ever but if you were wise and have a pc then you can have it

Two Critical F1 2014 Questions to Prevent Cheating

Hola how does league racing make them hardcore freak bands? The freaks are the ones who play the game alone with no social interaction. League racing keeps this game alive as I can guarantee even if the game is the same league racers will still buy it because they enjoy the wheel to wheel racing, the reason they get beaten by the lesser devices is because codemasters make it easier for them with hidden assists for some stupid reason.

Two Critical F1 2014 Questions to Prevent Cheating

The steering assist option in the menu isn't the same as aid pad assist, it's just a new assist that makes it easier to drive unfortunately so the aid pad assist stays in the game
  6. It will most likely be on PC using an xbox controller. Hopefully there isn't too many assists built in for controller users this time round but it looks better than I imagined in terms of gameplay now all we need is a video of cockpit cam and a wheel with no assists, not cheat cam and aid pad with assists

What Should Be on Next-Gen F1 in my opinion

Don't bother asking, they wont be doing any of this, it'll just be another rehash. There isnt that much improvement from old gen to new gen either so they don't have much power for it anyways

    F1 2013 playable for a casual gamer?

Actually quite a few people I've talked to mention yours as a bashers league, the stewards panel can't turn back time when you get taken out of a race with an easy win though can they.

    F1 2013 playable for a casual gamer?

That's why you join a league and avoid public races like the plague.  We don't tolerate anything like that at PRL.  We have a Stewards Panel to make sure of it. I gave your league a try, the European one, was winning with a clear margin in my first race, then I pit and come out ahead of second place and I get bashed into the wall at monaco, absolute bashers league. Mumble is crap too

    F1 2013 playable for a casual gamer?

The game is mainly played by people in Europe though, league racing is the most popular thing on f1.

You'll find the AI is far too easy on this game. I can win in a marussia, no aids, past them all in about 2 laps, just takes practice

    JayFerGaming's F12013 Videos

What's with the negativity?  Thank you Fedfan :) The penultimate race of the season and I am battling for 4th in the championship! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WB15CMKfbo Because you are pretty much cheating that's why with your controller aid pad and your t cam

    Formula E

It'll last 2 seasons, this season it's cheap because they are spec cars like gp2, next season they will develop their own cars and it'll probably be more expensive than f1, they are also ridiculously slow, below gp3 definitely. It's just another dump for failed f1 drivers. Loads of artificial crap in it too
  14. A lot of people only play career mode single player modes you know, I happen to be one of them. I'm glad they do put sp modes in the games otherwise I wouldn't buy them. There's quite a number of people on this forum that do in fact. as for the next gen consoles yes they may be less powerful than the PC but they're more powerful than what we've had and I've had a lot of fun with my XB1 since I bought it a few weeks ago and plan on having more. Yeah the people who hang round on these forums aren't representative, it's leagues that are most popular throughout the games life,. I'm sure you are having fun with it but it's holding pc gaming experience back.
  15. Don't get your hopes up, next gen means nothing, they are old hardware already, design the game for pc and reduce it to something consoles can handle. Wish they'd focus on online not stupid career mode racing against AI, AI are always going to be worse that real people, no matter what happens.

Next gen doesn't mean shit, it's not next gen in any single way, 'next gen' still struggles with 60fps never mind being close to AC unfortunately

The sim can come later as long as multiplayer is improved.

Thats where driver assists and AI difficulty come into play. If you turn all assists off and activate realistic AI in 2013 how many kids/casuals/mass market players would be able to keep up? For some reason Steve Hood and yourself honestly seem to beleive people will run to the hills if the game possesses any sense of realism or authenticity whatsoever. no reason why Codemasters couldnt implement an "arcade mode" and "simulation mode" either. They wont bother though because they know that hardcore fans are likely to purchase anyway as their license is EXCLUSIVE, which just leaves the naieve casual crowd to suck in and brainwash (who dont know enough about F1 to know better, and are less likely to complain about lack of authenticity or copy and paste games either) Sure two driving models would be ideal. But consider how that would affect the development time. They don't have the luxury of several years of development like other racing games such as rFactor, PCars, GT and Forza. So what's the best that can be done? Compromise to suit both types of player. Every other official F1 title before CM had the license was much the same. A simulation experience takes much more than a year (or around 8 months that they actually have) to give any justice to. I don't for one second think it would be bad for the game to fully replicate the sport and be a full blown simulation. In fact, I'd love it as much as you or any other hardcore fan on here. But I take my mind away from being a player and what I want and try to see things in the big picture. If it can't be done then that's that. It will be interesting to see how the next gen version stacks up since it's had more development time than previous titles. If it's much the same again, then there is indeed a problem. Fair call mate, I guess my biggest gripe with it is while each annual release (take 2012 -> 2013 as an example) could arguably be warranted as DLC worthy instead of a full blown redesigned game, theres no real evidence to suggest Codies are going to put in the sort of investment commensurate of the licenses prestige going forward. 2015 would be the perfect opportunity to implement a "arcade" and "simulation" option into the series as it has become clear theyve thrown all their resources on that game. Sadly though, with their reluctance to implement subtle, immersive, and arguably somewhat superficial things such as career numbers into 2014, the odds are stacked against any logical decision making for the future. I sincerely hope they prove me wrong though, for the benefit of F1 fans worldwide I don't need immersive bullshit, I dont need a driver number and I don't need a career mode, I want a multiplayer with decent net code and online practice sessions, leagues keep the game going till the end and thats what they should focus on, their long term customers who buy it year and year again.

Of course it's going to be the same if not worse, codemasters can't make a game without game breaking bugs. 'Next Gen' won't do anything, next gen is just old console hardware, they need to develop   on pc  and then filter it for consoles. These in season updates will probably break the game too because they are useless at that too, I'm really wondering if even EA could do a better job.

This is what F1 2014 should be like

Like I stated before, TV cam & chase are an advantage b/c of increased sight. And 90-95% do not use TV cam. Most use cockpit cam for offline and TV cam for online multi-player. They use TV cam for online multi-player or for TT b/c it's an advantage. I don't play Codemasters F1 for multiplayer b/c I don't want to use TV cam like everyone else is. That being said, most people who buy this game play offline, especially people residing outside the UK. Also, unfortunately, I realize the kiddies like TV cam & Chase. That's why CM has it in. I always use cockpit view, yes t-cam can be an advantage as it allows you to see an apex better but all the aids are and so are controllers with their turn and brake assist, that's why I want it to be like it is in my video, however I only race online and I'm faster than most in my league with all settings off and using cockpit cam.
  21. If you were going to upload a video of what CM already put out you shouldn't have monetized your video if its edited and youve put some of your own content in then fair enough. Dude I'm promoting their game for free what don't you understand about that and all the big f1 youtubers do it but when I do it its not acceptable? How do you think the news works nowadays? You telling me they don't put ads next to trailers on there videos? Give me a break dude.  This is your thread, other youtubers will get abuse from me if and when i see their threads with CMs videos. You could just link all of code masters videos but instead you thought you'd make some profit out of it. I rarely visit these forums because its always full of career mode tossers with controllers and consoles so that's probably why I havent given them abuse. They are welcome to put ads if they add stuff to the video but if they just copy and paste codemasters crap then its wrong
