    Controlls/options

Just a quick couple of questions. Is it possible to customise the controls like other CM games to whatever the player wants rather than picking from a few different presets. I play with manual gears (xbox pad) and like to have gear up as RB and gear down as LB, feels the most natural in my opinion and I hate using B and X or any other configuration. Also, can I turn the arrows that tell you where surrounding cars are off?

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

Yup!  That is one of the key fixes of that part. It seems as though it hasn't worked. Just done a quick test on a Spanish stage in BMW E30 and Ford Sierra, same difficulty, time of day (obviously same stage). The top AI when I was driving the BMW did a 1.19 on the stage, but was 30 seconds slower when I was in the Ford. I'm playing on Xbox by the way and was running 'demanding' difficulty

For championships and rallies with a larger number of stages it does. It would be nice to have a few Ai swap fastest times between stages every now and then (without them needing car problems for this to happen) just so it doesn't feel like you're racing one guy through the whole game.

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

I'm not keen on how quickly the weather seems to change during a stage. Going from clear skies to thick fog and back to clear skies again in little over a minute looks silly to me. Everything else looks awesome though, and the official liveries are the icing on the cake.

The heat haze before the stadium truck race as well as the sound as they all floor it in unison is stunning

After playing Dirt Rally yesterday for the first time in a while I instantly caved in and pre ordered. Hoping there are plans for content post release on this one as well, but either way looking forward to it

He's always been a bit of a loon. Last year it looked like he'd matured massively and for the majority of the season made Dovi look very very average in a way no teammate has since Stoner/Pedrosa, but clearly it was a blip.

Was a great race but shows how much MotoGP is going to struggle in Italy once Rossi retires. The best race of the year but because Rossi wasn't in it people were leaving by the truck load.

Went to Brands on the saturday as was busy on the Sunday. Absolutely in love with that Vulcan. First time I've seen a GTE spec car as well in the form of two 458's in the GT Sport Club races, had no idea they were that loud. Genuinely sound like old F1 cars.

No, but there are lots of different speculated reasons why he's moved. 1. Simply to try something different 2. Ducati making big steps over last 2 years since Gigi has been in charge of the bike (the man is a genius, not quite Newey equivalent but very highly thought of) and that is only likely to continue. Ducati have been close to winning races for over a year, with Lorenzo on the bike they would have won many last season. 3. Yamaha making the bike to suit both riders, Ducati will likely build the bike around Lorenzo regardless of his teammate. Yamaha already suits Lorenzo really well though 4. Money. Ducati/Lorenzo rumours have been around for years and years. Ducati have a big pot of cash, even more so since they've been owned by Audi. 5. Simply to get away from the Rossi saga, which is close to getting nasty again since end of last season. 6. Motivation of achieving what Rossi (biggest rival, says Rossi is best ever etc etc) didn't, winning on a Ducati. Also motivation from Rossi saying over the winter Lorenzo doesn't have the balls to move to Ducati. Rossi knew what he was doing when he said that, knew it would make Lorenzo move if he hadn't already decided to do so.

I've got no problem with a game being 30fps as long as it is locked at it. Its games that try to achieve 60 but run anywhere from 60 down to 30 that are awful to play. Or anything Milestone create that is locked at 30 and still drops constantly

No sympathy for Rossi? :p  As for Crutchlow, I'm blaming the bike. He's an awesome rider, his time with Tech 3 he was consistently up there. But since then, with the Ducati and the Honda, he seems to end up on the ground more often than finishing races :(  Yeah, that was a weird crash for Rossi.. As for Crutchlow it's definitely the bike, if you exclude Marquez everyone at Honda really suffers wth that front tyre. Just look at Pedrosa so far. Crutchlow has said that Honda have spent the last 5/6 years moulding the bike around two people who ride like no one else, Marquez and Stoner. No one can ride a bike that is basically built to be ridden like Marquez rides it.

BSB is head and shoulders above every other form of motorsport when it comes to accessibility. While its not that relaxed on race weekends, the access you have to riders, teams, pit lane etc etc is fantastic.

I was looking forward to having the Halfords Honda colours back on the grid, the Integra they used to run in those colours (and this goes for the Civic EP3 they ran in 2004 as well) is one of my favourite touring cars ever. But I could not be more disappointed in what this years Honda looks like. The livery is so bland, just a load of solid black block shapes on the car. No imagination or creativity at all, and also lacking in sponsors massively. Much preferred the red/white from recent seasons. Definitely doesn't look like a factory effort, looks quite amateur to be honest.

Its C4, they're all for diversity. Not that Karun and others won't be good or don't deserve to be there, but they've got to have their woman tick box checked, their foreigner, they even managed to get their disabled person and black person rolled into one. Now they're just praying for Lee McKenzie to come out as lesbian and they've ticked off their entire list of must haves.

Shame the season had to end the way it has over the past couple of weeks, and as much as I think Marquez was in the wrong Valentino bought all of this on himself. Whether his comments about Philip Island were mind games or he genuinely believes Marquez helped Lorenzo in Australia, picking a fight with Marquez when Rossi had it all to lose and Marquez had nothing to lose was a stupid thing to do. Pedorsa is the only one who's come out of this season with a reason to hold his head up high. All three in front of him made them selves look very unprofessional over the last two rounds, Dani rode for himself and had great pace. Would have won in Valencia if Marquez let him have a go.

    MotoGP

As a Rossi fan the last week has been nothing but embarrassing. Allegations against Marc for Philip Island were a little hard to believe, and it just all went down hill from there. I think if he kept his mouth shut none of this would have happened. Whatever his motives were on Thursday, whether it be mind games with Marc/Jorge or if he genuinely believed Marc was riding to slow him down its backfired on him. I don't believe Marc was riding anything less than 100% in Philip Island, and I'm not convinced he was purposely holding up Valentino in Malaysia. Rossi obviously was convinced he was and snapped. It was Marc that ended up riding into Valentino, but he shouldn't have been in a position where he was able to in such a way. Silly from Rossi and has cost him the title if nothing out of the ordinary doesn't happen in Valencia. 7 points wouldn't have been enough if he'd qualified normally with his record at that track, never mind from the back of the grid. The whole fiasco with his paranoia about Marc in PI/Malaysia, reports from reliable sources suggesting he even asked Dani what his motives where and why he put up such a fight in Aragaon, pressure has got to the old man. Shame that such a fantastic season will now be remembered for Rossi letting the pressure get to him, letting Marc get in his head, and "that move".

    MotoGP

In my opinion it will come down to what the points difference is leaving Malaysia. Rossi really does not go well at Valencia, he needs to beat Lorenzo in Malaysia to have a good chance of the title. 8 or so points will not be enough without something out of the ordinary happening in Valencia. With the weather in Malaysia anything can happen.

Don't want to take anything away from Shedden as I felt he was a more than deserving champion, but almost every car letting him through in the last race was a bit of an anti climax. Jordan indicated, cole, Tordoff, Priaulx all moved out of the way, Morgan didn't move out of the way but didn't defend his position in the slightest. Collard put up half a fight but Shedden was too quick, Goff was the only one who really looked like he wanted to keep his position. As I say though, one race doesn't make a season, Shedden was the better driver almost all year long.

Real sad news. He was actually one of the few IndyCar drivers I actually knew a bit about thanks to his F1 stints.  Another death on an IndyCar oval race though. Surely if they want to keep racing ovals they need some kind of canopy or screen in front of the driver to deflect things which could strike their helmets, either that or just do road courses instead. With Wheldon's crash I'd agree, but Wilson could have been struck by the debris just as easily at any other track. Was a freak accident, nothing more to it. How easily the wheels detached in the GP3 crashes at Spa needs to be looked at much more urgently imo.

    Project CARS

Not surprised they'd decided to make a sequel this early or put some thought into what was going to be in it, but announcing it a month after the game came out and with it still being in the state that it is in is never going to win you any fans. Very bad publicity
