F1 2020 MyTeam name of team

The team name is actually derived from the Constructor and the Engine supplier in most cases so it would be oxymoronic if not. Vodafone McLaren Mercedes etc.

    F1 suddenly brakes

I agree with most of this. However, I can tell you that LGS is abandonware. If you use only LGS and it works then fine. G25/G27 and earlier (e.g. DFGT, Momo etc.) uses LGS 5.10 G29/G920 uses LGS 9.02 but Logitech recommend GHub - if you have GHub for any other Logitech peripheral I would recommend uninstalling LGS 9.02 (or LGS 8.xx). GHub does not support the G25/G27 and earlier so might coexist. GHub updates the FFB dll and will conflict with LGS.

    Wheel not detected

You might want to check that, the T150 can't accept rims.

    Problème de beug

Seems to reduce the incidence for me. I'm back to suspecting this is still a 2004 issue as 1909 has no such issue. I'll run reports and see where the builds differ.

If I knew I would tell you.
  6. Can you remove the LifeCam for testing please? Uninstall the ASMedia USB drivers from Programs and Features if there is an entry, then uninstall the device from Device Manager and let it redetect. If you can also try to use the Intel USB ports that would be helpful. The Logitech dongle would be better in one of those, along with the X360 Controller. If you can supply the make and model of the motherboard that would help to identify those ports. Also 24GB RAM is unusual configuration, can you reduce to matched memory (i.e. 2x 8GB) or 1 single stick (the memory modules and slot config would help). I'm going to assume a 4-slot board because a machine that era would struggle to find 16GB modules.

    Problème de beug

I wonder if it is a fix for you @EXPERTYOYO973 because I think Intermediare is Medium and it's the setting I have. I get the crash less often it would appear, not a fix.

Can you choose the tracks in short career mode?

Imagine if the Coronavirus means they actually do this.

No it crashed on me again on exit with the framelimiter on. If it's of interest the crashdump is in C:\Users\{USERNAME}\AppData\Local\Temp not in the Steam folder. 614494-20200616-213249-0.zip

    Wheel not detected

The wheel is not on the supported list. There is no obligation to make it work. Good luck with your request.

    Psn Pre-Order

Ah well, there's a promise you can take to the bank. So why worry when it is coming out? 6th July should be time enough. So yeah, asking is whiney if you know this.

  14. Sometimes USB 3 devices create noise on adjacent sockets, sometimes the signalling differences affect other devices.
  15. Next suggestion. Is your wheel or keyboard plugged into; a) a USB hub? b) USB 3.0?

T300RS GT Clutch recognised as button

I know what you mean now. Short answer no, because the game doesn't register clutch as an axis. Why would you need it to? In normal gameplay the clutch is a button (for non-assisted starts). If you play the classics, then the clutch can be used for changing gear but I don't think it's required (some wheels don't have a third pedal). But you dump the clutch on a start, you don't feed it in. Button functionality is fine. It looks like this might also be an input syntax limitation (IDK, IANAP) Z-axis throttle, Y-axis brake, X-axis steering. Even the Thrustmaster software labels it Slider 0, so I think there's your answer. As long as you register some input on that control then the game will recognise it. So it's a choice for the developer. Use the Slider 0 as an axis or as a button. It's clear what CM have done. HTH.

    Problème de beug

Thanks for the feedback. Do you use a framecounter (Steam or RTSS)? Then you can see what's going on with respect to framerates. I do think the game needs work to better limit or detect the settings people are using or at least there needs to be some kind of guide to avoid this. The game still ships with V-SYNC OFF by default, fine if you have a system with lower performance, but a lot of rigs on here that crash way exceed 60 FPS with uncapped settings. So the perception of input lag at 60Hz needs addressing, the effect of framecaps and V-SYNC need outlining and people need to pair their equipment with suitable displays. The benchmarking routine alone isn't quite enough. But I can hit 100FPS with a fairly old CPU and a the modal graphics card on moderate settings, but I play on a Freesync monitor capable of a high refresh.
  19. Can you post the new hardware_settings_config.xml please?
  20. At the moment the new problems seem to revolve around refresh rates. But from your hardware_settings_config.xml I can see the display is not being detected correctly. Try deleting it when the game is not running and relaunching? Also you should run the game in DX12 wherever possible. DX11 is only for those unwilling to upgrade from W7. 446.14 should be the latest recommended GRD. You should be fine to upgrade from 442.74 if you downgraded but if it still crashes try DDU and go for a clean 446.14.
  21. Disabling the Steam Overlay is not a fix. It is a troubleshooting test. But it applied to an old build of the game with a specific Nvidia driver. Can you edit your first post? Posting the EGO dumper text is not useful, but the crashdump will be, so upload the zip file instead.
  22. The fix for the crash on exit for me was to cap the framerate to that of the desktop or in-game refresh. So, as on one build I run at 100Hz desktop, 99Hz in-game refresh and framecap at 99FPS (V-SYNC OFF). I noticed the in-game refresh was not being respected by the game so I just enabled the framecap in-game. No more crashing on exit.

    Ego dumper crash with AMD

Can you try using the in-game framelimiter to 60FPS? Thanks.
  24. steviejay69

    Problème de beug

@EXPERTYOYO973 @massa88 I have something for you to try to solve the crashing on exit. If VSYNC is set to OFF and the framelimiter is OFF then the game crashes on exit (FPS/refresh not obeyed). I turned on the framelimiter. My game does not crash on exit. For full replication of my setting I am playing; It's probably quicker if you set the framelimiter to match your desktop refresh or that of the in-game refresh and tell me what works. e.g. your desktop is set to 60Hz, try the framelimiter at 60FPS. Let me know.

    F1 2019 crashing on startup

Disable Steam Overlay is not a fix - it was an old issue with early builds of the game and specific Nvidia drivers. DX11 is not a fix either, it's highly likely that whatever doesn't work or causes a crash in DX12 will be the same in DX11. Anyway, I suggest you post your crashdump and dxdiag here too.
