Logitech Support | Troubleshooting Hints & Tips

The LEDs I believe do not work on XBox. It's arguable that the wheel works as it is not detected correctly by the game, it was not in the Compatible Wheel Controller list at launch and I have not seen any support added in patch notes. It's probable the LEDs work on PS4 and PC as they did on the G29 which the PS4 SKU of the G923 supercedes. -

UEFI 1602 ME Update in fact most of your board drivers are outdated It looks like the wheel is controlled by LGS you need to clean the drivers and install GHub. The .dlls are incorrect. Geek Uninstaller -

I have briefly tested this with the Mercedes on the first two tracks in TT and it appears to be fixed. This week is AZE in leagues so I will next play modes of Canada next week with a couple of cars. If anyone happens to test any of the other tracks and they’re broken please add it here. -

Crash to Desktop during solo races
steviejay69 replied to JWDalsager's topic in Systems and Connectivity TA
I was responding more to the person who suggested the page file. It is set correctly (automatic I believe). Certainly no-one should adjust it without good reason. I'm not being critical of your choice of memory, merely stating that it is not required for games. But yes, with the default settings memory management is creating a very large swapfile, due to the way memory handling is with dealt with on Windows. I can certainly assert that the majority of telemetry received at Redmond will back up the fact that the majority of W10 devices will probably contain 4-8GB of RAM. Power users and gamers are simply a user subset. 🙂 I was around during Windows 98, yes the 512MB limit was an issue. With 32-bit OS (particularly XP) over 3GB was an issue. I have been around longer than most! -
[PC][Post-Session/Post-Race] - Game Crashes and Slows Laptop Down
steviejay69 replied to Vaerrwenn's topic in Systems and Connectivity TA
UEFI 301 or Windows Flasher IDSA for updating the Intel VGA, agree with @BarryBL the graphics (940M) are not the best, start with Low or possibly Medium settings but the 940M is DX12 hardware You need to fix that Connexant driver for W10 20H1/H2 (ASUS don't have one, so a clean install would be faster, don't reinstall the 2015 ASUS driver). -
Post a bug template but you need to set a default sound source in Windows and select it in-game. Ideally a dxdiag if this suggestion does not fix things for you. Ideally the dongle of the headset (how do I know it has one) should be removed to use the jack inputs to get minimal issues. Not saying it's impossible to configure the headset audio but yeah, firmware updates and selectable sound sources seem to give the most issues.

Crash to Desktop during solo races
steviejay69 replied to JWDalsager's topic in Systems and Connectivity TA
If you read the dxdiag you will see that the swap file is sized at around 27GB, so that's not the issue. But I do question the use of such high amounts of RAM in general. No idea why you would need 32GB of RAM to game. Most games run in 8-16GB just fine and don't even use that much. In fact the whole question of swapfiles is just to leave Windows be. -

I suggest you use a recommended driver rather than the latest optional. 20.9.1 (or the one I use, 20.5.1 this has proved to be stable on my old RX580 and my RX5700XT) AMD chipset drivers are important as is the updated AGESA but I need the board make and model (some kind of ASUS B450/B550/X570) The EGO dumper log file is less helpful than the actual crash dump. Noticed and old driver for a TP-Link WiFi adapter in the dxdiag, try looking for an update or playing wired. -
[PC] Textures not working properly
steviejay69 replied to FedeArg's topic in Gameplay Issues and Bugs TA
Install the IDSA the latest driver build is 8853 - you may need to play with the settings as this is an Intel Graphics controller. DX12 should work fine the UHD 630 is DX12 hardware. But this is a desktop PC (MSI Z370 PC Pro? UEFI) you should have a PCI-E graphics card like AMD or Nvidia.... -

Cutscenes are **** on PC too. It's not framerate it's the way those cutscenes have the textures added. It's highly unoptimised to be kind to it.

This is a Systems and Connectivity issue, not Gameplay. Post a dxdiag -

Failed to verify game files - F1 2020
steviejay69 replied to Razorino23's topic in Systems and Connectivity TA
A very strange approach, but yes IDK why F1 seems to hammer GPUs unless you do introduce some kind of capping. Never tried to mess with CPU utilisation / core affinity. I'm not sure you should. -
Game sometimes wont launch, I get EGO Dumper, restarting laptop (temporarily) fixes
steviejay69 replied to davie18's topic in Systems and Connectivity TA
You should provide a dxdiag. Hybrid systems there may well be issues that need a patch. The more systems that are posted when affected gives a scope for a fix. -
F1 2019 and new Nvidia 3000 series cards
steviejay69 replied to Vapochilled's topic in Technical Assistance
This is a workaround. Did the users DDU when updating or just shove the 30XX in a 10xx system (lucky they had time to shut the machine down with all the actual excitement)? If this is an Nvidia issue with the libraries then....oh dear. They're only interested in telemetry and not in FUBARing systems then. -
