    FFB- T300 and Various Wheels

I stopped getting the disk after F1 2016. It's pointless, I think it does just ask you to install via Steam, even then I don't think it launches without you having to connect anyway because the gold game never goes live, there's seemingly always a day 0 patch. Plus you'll probably need to download redistributables. Only advantage of waiting the 6 months is it will almost certainly be on sale. The patch cycle will be ended. Patches won't break the game any more, it is what it is. If you find a bug, you either suck it up or start again. Or the answer is in the forums and you fix it (or not).

    FFB- T300 and Various Wheels

Frankly, with a disc you have the shortcut of trading or re-selling (but not with the Legends DLC). It does get much stickier with the digital product. Here is the relevant part of the EULA On your side is the Consumer Rights Act (2015) https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-10-01-new-consumer-rights-act-puts-gamers-in-the-driving-seat but your right to refund IS still against Sony/PSN you have to argue that the patches are NOT 'minor defects' (I would say the loss of FFB is debatably subjective unfortunately, and against the majority of functional code would also I think, be classed a minor defect) I think any of the patches applied since 1.05 DON'T qualify as 'fixing' the product in that respect and I think 90 days would be a reasonable amount of time to expect a fix or even 90 days beyond Codemasters' historical patch cycle or from release (all of which are still applicable). But due to the subjective and minor nature of the loss of FFB defect, I don't think you would win. A conversation between Sony/PSN and Codemasters (if it were to take place) would be that the game is still in the patch cycle, there is a reasonable expectation that minor defects will be addressed (even given CM's track record of previous games left with defects) so the chances of a refund outside of any 'no quibble' period is long gone. Interesting is the fact that the above Act opens the possibility of a 'class-action' style lawsuit against Codemasters if ENOUGH people with the SAME ISSUE took legal advice. Good luck.
  5. You're lucky you got loaded in. Most lobbies hang because people keep leaving or haven't been registered as leaving and the game waits for them.
  6. A lot of this just sounds like bodged Windows 10 installations. Usually an upgrade or clean install fixes much of what is broken. Sometimes the updates cause the issues, sometimes Steam does and in what order.

[PC] - F1 2019 graphics issue on load

Then it rather begs the question why you bought the game, but thanks for feeding back. So the other two @Kogsly and @Joerd was this your issue too?

Congratulations to the three of you. 1 post each with no detail.
  9. Acquiesce to the upgrade to 1903. 1803 is EOL in 90 days.

    G29 Not working

G-Hub was definitely not working for some earlier, but I don't have the G(920) any more. That software build of G-Hub is newer (July 23 2019) than previous, so who knows?

    G29 Not working

Sounds like a PC2 problem then. I will make a .reg fragment for people to download and install and quickly try and then attach it to this message later. g29.zip
  12. Patch is a bit of a misnomer. This is the planned livery upgrade as per the roadmap announced with 1.05.
  13. Upgrade Windows till it hurts, you can do an in-place upgrade to W10 for free with the upgrade advisor (then clean install without a key). DX12, it's (part of) the future....

Did you try my fixes? I really wish Codemasters would make my solutions sticky....

    TS-XW with F1 wheel

OK, understood. Try deleting the hardware_settings_config.xml before starting the game. (Documents\My Games\F1 2019\hardware) If that doesn't work, then I would back up the game using Steam backup, uninstall and reinstall it, this forces a lot of the runtimes to be repaired.

    TS-XW with F1 wheel

So you're saying the wheel does not appear in Advanced Mode in the Thrustmaster CP? Remove the wheel rim and check / reseat the connector in the QR. Look for bent pins or dirt. Are you running an overclock on the 4770K? Are you using tuning software? Remove. MAXIMUS VI HERO? UEFI update one of the previous ones includes a USB compatibility fix, many undocumented fixes as well as documented,

    TS-XW with F1 wheel

Verify Game files in Steam. Use Geek Uninstaller to remove the driver and reinstall it after restarting then restart once installed and try the Thrustmaster Control Panel for correct operation. If you can eliminate USB hubs or extension leads and try to relocate any nano receivers for keyboard or mouse. Try the wheelbase and shifter in a USB 2.0 controller port as well as the pedals. If you have the TH8A as well as the pedals then that's 3 controllers, if you have a gamepad then that's more. I would try removing then introducing controllers one by one, seeing when the problems occur. Try wheel then introduce pedals then shifter would be my way. Restart the game between connections.
  18. At least it's marked as being given attention. There are other patches planned, so hopefully it gets put in one.

    TS-XW with F1 wheel

Firmware, drivers. (v9, 2019_TTRS_1) When you say 'Homemade pedals', please expand. How do they connect?
  20. Do you think that's why we don't get the game we want as we're too busy complaining about the current one? 🤦‍♂️

    TS-XW with F1 wheel

    * TS-XW RACER: Firmware V4 Driver package 2019_TTRS_1 The Thrustmaster updaters are unreliable, often telling you software is up to date when they're not. Installing these drivers and updating will give you the firmware. Apologies if you have these versions. You should switch to the Advanced mode in the Thrustmaster Control Panel. Basics: Ensure the wheel is correctly connected to the base, first align the connector, then tighten the QR in two stages and then gently screw in the self-tapper. Try a USB 2.0 port if you have one (modern boards all use the USB 3.0 controller but some ports are specifically USB 2.0) don't connect using extension cables and hubs (powered or passive) and try without other controllers connected. If you can grab a wired keyboard and mouse if you have wireless with a nano receiver or try relocating to a different port / controller.

[PC] F1 2019 Game not recognizing microphone

They keep telling us that Denuvo doesn't hurt the game engine. I think it might be the cause for intermittent issues.
  23. With SSDs there is absolutely no need for Fast Startup. It's a Microsoft thing, it reappears after upgrades too. They are quite irritating how they think they know how your PC should be set up. But, it might be indicative that you are using Inbox/WU drivers somewhere. Vendor specific drivers are best.
