  1. I suggest you use a recommended driver rather than the latest optional.

20.9.1 (or the one I use, 20.5.1 this has proved to be stable on my old RX580 and my RX5700XT)

AMD chipset drivers are important as is the updated AGESA but I need the board make and model (some kind of ASUS B450/B550/X570)

The EGO dumper log file is less helpful than the actual crash dump.

Noticed and old driver for a TP-Link WiFi adapter in the dxdiag, try looking for an update or playing wired.

I am going to take a guess here.. there will be and updated version paid for 10 bucks or so, just to take it to dirty level more or less... They just need to uncap de frame rate (witch is the case on cutscenes)... I am convinced the issue on textures are platform limits related ... So they just let the game eats more .... On the other possibility they ll just allow freely to feed.from smart delivery and ps4 boost mode ...

F1 2020 can't stay like this since it will live for 6 months on next gen.

Here is an idea, real f1 2021 will be a bridge from 2020 and next gen cars (real life ).

If I were CM I would just update slightly f1 2020 and add 2021 (is a perfectly fine and beautiful game like it is ) it's just stopped by current gen consoles (even xbox x)

Good bye jaguar cores and mechanical disk, specially on sony s side , they made magic to extract that much power (tsushima for example)

Cutscenes are **** on PC too. It's not framerate it's the way those cutscenes have the textures added. It's highly unoptimised to be kind to it.

I have the same problem with my G29 controller on my PC. I deflagged everything in the controller setting in steam to no avail. The only device detected is a generic game pad (I don't own one). Both GHUB and Windows 10 recognize my G29 controller. Steam is up to date too.

You need to post a bug report and dxdiag

  4. DDU and reinstall a known working (Nvidia) driver. (Un)Fortunately, I use an AMD card to play F1, so am unable to comment beyond 446.14

DLSS on 20xx cards is not bug free on this game.

    30xx cards are unstable.

But these newer Turing and Ampere cards need to use W10 2004 or higher and 450/455.xx branches (456.71 is latest).

    Hi LogiUk, steviejay,

thanks again for looking into this issue! After running the "Logitech Drive Cleaner", using "USB DeView" to rmeove all G29 related entries and uninstalling the G-HUB Software with the Geek installer the wheel rotation is recognized correctly!!! THX!!

BUT - Now I have no Force Feedback at all. and I can´t use the Clutch pedal as the breaking pedal. When I try to assign the clutch (the very left padel) as break pedal it is recognized as "O" or zero "0" in F1 2020

Update: The pedal is now working, but is recognized as "0" or "O"

So pls help. What else needs to be done to have FB working as well?

    Best regards from Germany.

GHub is required for FFB, it installs the C:\Program Files\LGHUB\legacy_forcefeedback_x64.dll

    Hi everyone!
A month ago I decided to import some textures to use in my "My Team" car livery.
A few days ago, I tried going to multiplayer but every time I tried to join a ranked or unranked game, the game would pop a message saying "unable too verify game files" and wouldn't let me play. So, I went on Steam and verified the game files. 48 were "corrupted" (probably those that were modified by me), therefore Steam redownloaded the files and installed them. BUT even after that, the error still pops up! Do I really need to reinstall the game? Thanks for your help.

You need to fill out a template for technical support.

However, most likely the files you have modified do mean that reinstalling the game is the quickest route. Be aware that care must be taken with mods and the caveat is that unless they are tested that you should most likely expect they are more suited to offline play not online (only you will see the modifications). Any files shared in the online environment MUST be tamper-checked (and I'm not claiming that all ARE successfully).

The other possibility is the settings on the PC or faults in the system like hardware (hard drive or memory errors), firmware or software issues. Please make a template and attach the relevant files (like a dxdiag and the hardware_settings_config.xml) or any crash dump. If you can get the game working without modification, then proceed with modding and testing on a trial by files basis.

    steviejay69,

thanks for your reply. I deleted also the existing control schemas and the .xml files, but with not success. The wheel rotation is still not working. I do have the same issue in F2019

Any other ideas? Are there other ways to get in contact with Codemasters Support?

Don't have LGS and GHub installed together. Use the Logitech Driver Cleaner or Geek Uninstaller to remove registry entries. Use USB DeView to check the USB configuration and remove redundant or duplicate entries.

For the sake of repetition, have the game closed when you do the verification and removal of files. GHub is the replacement for LGS, at the moment they use the same FFB .dll but under different names (for G29/G920) I expect G923 to change that, but don't know for sure.

    Hi all,

the games website states that Dolby Atmos should now be available on Microsoft Xbox and Microsoft Windows, but I can't get it to work.

I setup my PC to output Dolby Atmos and this works for other games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider, but I can't get it to work on F1 2020.

    Am I missing something?

    Damandan

Have you selected a default audio device in Windows (hint: should be the one supporting Dolby Atmos)?

Have you selected an audio output device in game? Menu|Settings|Audio Settings|Advanced Audio Settings(?)

Please post a dxdiag and your hardware_settings_config.xml, it might be useful to also see a confirmation of the in-game audio settings.
